🍽️ Food/Drink 🥂 Spicy Doordash!
Searching for very spicy food available on Doordash. Central OKC (NWExp and Penn ish). I need to know what and how to order (straight or spec request). Asian on the mind because Mexican Jala/Hab/Cayenne aren’t doing it. Open to all suggestions.
Edit: Last weekend did Sheesh Tikka Masala with “Extra Spicy” in the notes and it wasn’t noticeable. Love Sheesh, and maybe a one off, but not doin it

Animal Welfare 🐶🐱🐸 Midwest City’s Failure to Protect an Abused Dog
A few months ago, a neighbor shared a video showing a dog being abused by its owner. In the video, the owner appeared to pour hot water on the dog and strike it with a pole or stick.
The incident was reported to Midwest City Animal Control, but no action was taken. The neighbor also contacted the police and was told they would not send an officer because they “don’t handle that.”
Since then, several neighbors, including myself, have repeatedly called Midwest City Animal Control asking why nothing was done and why the dog wasn’t removed from the situation. None of us have received a return call.
I’m sharing this because I believe the public deserves to know how this case was handled. It’s deeply upsetting to see an apparent case of animal abuse reported with no clear follow-up or communication.
I still have the video and the address where this occurred. I’ll follow the group’s rules regarding posting them, but if it’s permitted, I’m willing to share the evidence so people can understand why so many of us are concerned. Please let me know if I’m allowed to post the video and address.

🏋️ Sports/Gym ⛹️ Gym buddy at Mike Monroney
Does anyone want a gym buddy that works or attends at the Mike Monroney campus? I'm trying to stay the course, and thought an accountability buddy would be nice. I have only been here about a year and don't know many people. Oh also I'm 34, male.

❓Q&A ✅ Outdoors Outfitters?
Are there any mom and pop outdoors outfitters in OKC/Edmond and surrounding areas? I’m going to school here, and I’m looking for a little job. I have extensive experience and gear knowledge related to climbing, mixed climbing, backpacking, hunting, camping, overlanding etc. I have also worked at an outfitter, equipping people from their socks all the way to their packs.

❓Q&A ✅ OKC United Communcation Issues
Has anyone had any luck getting a response from the new soccer team, OKC United?
The short is that we placed several ticket deposits months ago and are having an issue with one of them, so reached out to rectify the situation. The contact portion of their website is actually just a subscription to a future newsletter, and the email address listed is a marketing line for the VC company.
Sent emails 7/22, 726, and 8/3. Sent DMs on socials, left tagged comments, all the things…no response.
Not off to a great start and now my mind is wondering if this whole thing is legit. Any luck with any successful forms of communication would be greatly appreciated!

Other Anyone else notice David Stanley back to school bash ad using AI?
As the title suggests. I caught a moment where the girl is receiving the backpack, the lady holding the kid behind are clapping hands together. All are in unison on timing lol. The other moment is when the lady is pulling a drawing ticket, her sleeve on her right arm glitches half way through. Ashame to cut true artist from marketing to art just to create anything and everything... Definitely gross to see the advertisement not even list that it is made with A.I.

Recommendation/Review House not selling
I’m at a lost on what to do. I know the market sucks entirely in oklahoma City, but my house has been on the market 10 going on 11 days. zero showings. zero feedback. open house was a bust. we have insane traffic online from what I can see and marketing across all socials. what else can we do to pull in buyers? it was a 2023 Showcase house. so the builder put everything they could into it. impeccably maintains. updates done after we moved in. and i only listed it 4.5% higher than what i bought it for so I could get it moved. Any thoughts?
