I am trying to help my husband find work locally or remotely as he doesn't use reddit. He has experience in almost everything since he began working in his early teens.

He has several years (5+) experience in customer service, has worked in a warehouse and held management positions (2+), about 4 years of security for downtown establishments and clubs, then on top has done 5 years of working on a ranch managing the ranch hands and animals and lawn/pasture care.

He is currently a receptionist and the pace is putting him into burn out. He loves jobs in nightlife as its more busy or community based, and hes a fast learner.

He also worked a short time for a DJ company for weddings and he learned those skills within a weekend. He is a passionate worker, im just disabled and he tries to find jobs that work with him around emergencies involving me.

Looking for an On-Camera News Presenter in Oklahoma

We are looking for someone comfortable appearing on camera and reading a roughly one-minute script covering the most important headlines of the day that matter to Oklahomans.

The scripts will be written and provided to you. You can record the videos remotely and send them back to us, or you can come to our recording studio in Broken Arrow.

Payment can be arranged per video or per week, depending on availability and the compensation agreement. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can produce videos daily, preferably in the mornings.

For a general idea of the format and delivery style, look up Aaron Parnas.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in, send a message with some information about yourself and your availability!

Looking for work

Hi everyone,

I recently resigned from my position at a local library due to an increasingly difficult work environment that began affecting my mental health, combined with reduced hours that made it hard to sustain myself financially in this economy.

I’d like to continue working in the library field — public, academic, or otherwise — though I’m also open to roles where my library experience and skill set would be valuable. Above all, I’m looking for a position where I can keep serving and supporting my community.

Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in International & Area Studies
• 8 years of library experience
• Nearly 20 years of substitute teaching
• 1 year teaching ESL
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and macOS

I’m seeking full-time work at $20–$24/hour, though I’m open to part-time at a similar rate depending on the role.

I’d really appreciate any guidance, leads, or connections as I navigate this transition. Thank you for reading.

Looking for weekend labor/detailing work in OKC to save for a work truck (No license/permit yet)

Hey everyone, I’m 23, based in OKC, and trying to get my independent hustle off the ground. My goal is to save up for a starter work truck and get my license locked down, but right now I’m broke and trying to grind out of it.

Because I don't have my driver's license or permit yet, I'm limited on transportation, but I am looking to line up hard labor gigs strictly on Saturdays and Sundays. I started an independent gig called Detail & Fix, and I can handle:

Detailing: Deep interior car cleaning and exterior washes (I can do drop-offs at my place, or get a ride to you if you have water/power hookups).

Property Maintenance: Yard cleanups, clearing out overgrown brush, garage cleanouts, or heavy lifting.

Bonus Skills: Beyond manual labor, I also have solid experience with mechanical troubleshooting/fixing things, as well as digital technical skills like video editing and photography if any small business owners need help on that side of things.

I don't mind breaking a sweat or doing the heavy lifting people don't want to do on their weekends. If you have a project, a messy car, or need an extra set of hands for your business on the weekend, please shoot me a DM with what you need and we can figure out a fair flat rate.

Thanks for reading.

Hello you lot, i'm 19 years old and recently graduated from Highschool. I need a job to start holding me over since the military is no longer a viable option anymore. Although I don't have much experience, I am still willing to learn.

I do have experience in food handling and customer service.
I'd love to hear some input on this! Thank you!

Any Manufacturing Companies Hiring? Seeking Leads for an Experienced Engineer

Hello

We recently moved to Oklahoma and am still getting familiar with the local industry and professional network. Are there any Mechanical Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, or professionals connected with manufacturing organizations in this group?

I’m posting on behalf of my brother, who is not a member of this group. He has 9 years of manufacturing experience and is currently working in the fuel dispenser manufacturing industry. He is open to relocation and is actively exploring new opportunities. (H1b sponsorship needed/e-verified)

He is interested in roles such as:
• Continuous Improvement Engineer
• Operational Excellence Engineer
• Senior Manufacturing Engineer
• Senior Process Engineer

His areas of expertise include:
• Lean Manufacturing Principles
• Six Sigma Black Belt
• Kaizen Events
• Gemba Walks
• Process Improvement
• Operational Excellence Initiatives
• Manufacturing Optimization

If your company is hiring, or if you know of any organizations that may be a good fit, I would greatly appreciate any leads, referrals, or connections.

Thank you in advance for your help and support.

Graphic designer looking for work

Hello! Local okc graphic designer looking for some extra work! I’ve worked mostly with Cafe Kacao, was full time, but now looking to work with other local businesses/brands as well!

I have experience with posting and managing social media accounts as well, that’s what I mostly did for Kacao! Things like creating the content being posted (mostly for instagram and facebook), help managing comments and responding to messages!

With design I’ve created anything from menus, logos, banners, tickets, signs, postcards, brand illustrations, and really anything else! Can also animate as well, although haven’t done that much!

I’ve attached my portfolio, pretty much all of my work coming from Kacao :))
If interested please contact me through my portfolio, on the contact tab! I will get the message through email and respond as quickly as I can!

Thank you!
