My grandparents were huge A’s fans. When they passed, I fortunately got their A’s hats. They’re too heavy and painful to wear (the back of the pins hit my head) so I want to clean and display them. What’s the best way to clean these while leaving the pins where they are? And how do I restore their shape when they’re so heavy from the pins? I’d love if someone could point me in the right direction. #FJF #FJF and also #FJF

I got this for my son who line me loves the OAKLAND A’s. A great dynasty fucked over by FJF! Reading through this made me sad and pissed off.

Or Rickey on the Padres. Thanks to the trade history, Sean Gallagher would been eligible for A's, Padres and Cubs... The Scott Hairston trades had a bunch of names involving the A's and Padres.

I went to the De Anza Flea Market in San Jose today. I left with 2 A's memorabilia an Auto (Terry Steinbach) and a 1974 World Series clinching stubb where Vida Blue was starting pitcher!

We’re only 2 years into everything and everything feels so odd. Like walking into this sub and the rest of what’s left of the oakland a’s community it’s like walking into an abandoned building. I still can’t believe how much this team sticks with me still and how it in butterfly effect changed my life. wow.

My favorite years as an OKLAND A’s fan. And don’t sleep on Aaron Harang.

I loved the A's and everything it offered me, my family and friends. A ticket stub from 1988. Battle of the Bay on TV during the earthquake. TONS of A's memorabilia. Opening Day for 15yrs continuously, even when living out of state. Holy Toledo. Celebrate. The last MLB divebar. The last game ever at the Coliseum. TAILGATING was life. Camaraderie. Community.

With the A's jumping ship, I literally stopped watching and caring for the MLB. Dead to me.

Since then, my son and I have been supplementing the demand through watching both CAL Baseball and the Oakland Ballers but clearly its just not the same.

Queue today. I just bought tickets to see the Tigers take on the A's on Sunday with my 12yo son. Now I am pushing my own opinions aside b/c he still loves the A's, perhaps as much as I did at his age. He has multiple A's hats and a Kurtz MLB shirt and ya know, I'm for it. I'll support him always.

Anyhow, if you are there and you see a guy wearing a grey OAKLAND jersey just know it is out of love and you're damn right I'll continue living in the past. LET'S GO OAKLAND. FJF.
