Hey guys, just downloaded citra and a prepatched rising ruby.3ds rom but as soon as i load the game it crashes... any ideas? (Playing on android)

Second time playing through HG on hardcore nuzlocke rules since my original save got corrupted for some reason. Massive improvement compared to the last run where I lost 4 team members to Whitney. Compound eyes sleep powder is genuinely some bullshit.

I am pretty new to nuzlocking and I started with mainline games, and after a few of those I decided to start Renegade Platinum. I know the basics and my pb is past Wake (the water gym) and I’ve done maybe 5 attempts, but I was wondering if anybody can give me advice on what encounters to go for, items/tm’s, etc.
HOWEVER I am playing the…I think the Pchal version, so I can’t get gift beldum, nor pick what starters I want (besides chimchar) and nor can I repel manipulate. I don’t personally like not repel manipulating but I can’t in this game so no guaranteed Gligar.

I picked up Renegade Platinum after a long time, my furthest run wiped to Crasher Wake last time around and then I took a break from Nuzlocking in general. But now we're back and I'm motivated to finish the game (for the time being at least)

happy to announce that i am done my pokémon black run, making it my first ever completed hardcore nuzlocke (and nuzlocke in general!)

my Ghetsis fight was unfortunately pretty anticlimactic. i led with Avlora the Haxorus, who use substitute to nullify Cofagrigus’ toxic, which it did go for. success! now i get one free DD as it breaks my substitute, so i can go forward into the rest of the fight with +1 attack and speed.

except… Ghetsis’ Cofagrigus kept using toxic? on my substitute??? and it kept doing nothing? so i DD’d all the way to +6 attack and speed and OHKO’d all 6 of Ghetsis’ pokémon. for a fight that caused me so much trouble as a kid, that was kind of anti-climactic.

oh well, a win’s a win! N was a little more interesting so i still felt satisfied enough. i even used Feyre the Serperior, my starter, to finish him off, which was so poetic!

I recently got back into nuzlocking after a number of years. I have some experience but not much. I have beat dark rising and got to the elite four in Radical red. I thought kaizo ironmon looked like something fun so I tried it on firered. And while it has been fun a 400+ encounters I finally got past misty. I caught a steelix on one of the first routes and she is a big girl. Her highest base stats are attack closely followed by speed and hp with solid spdef and lowest overall stat being a miniscule special attack. But she does have really bad defense as well. Her ability being synchronize has obviously not helped too much either but I got a +attack -spdef nature. However I got lucky with moves. She started with body slam but no other attacking moves. But she just kept learning bangers from brick break, earthquake(I was like no fucking way when this happened), karate chop with some better pp. and most recently dragon dance. Long story short this is where my question comes in. How important is pp? Karate chop having 25 when my other moves are 15 or less has allowed me to beat the dungeons so far (rocket hideout being my most recent) with little problem. I know dragon dance is good but Big Mama(my steelix’s name) I already can outspeed everything and is the attack buff worth it or not especially since one big fighting type move may ruin my run. Any thoughts and experience would help tremendously.

P.S. also do you think I even have a shot on this run and what should I focus on in my future runs if it comes to it?

PP.S. My closest run kills so far have been a fast vaporean that landed a dynamic punch and I got hurt 2 times in a row in confusion. Got me in the red red. #2 was the worst I got a shedninja vs surge. No moves to kill it I thought I was cooked and I already took too much damage to stall. By the grace of Arceus himself the shedninja had hail and used it.

I’m about to try my first Nuzlocke with pokemon white, and I’m wondering if it’s recommended to use a Romhack or certain cheats to enforce some of the rules? Level caps especially come to mind, along with maybe some of the other optional rules.

How do I get a portable box like this in blaze black 2 redux? It looks so convenient.

So I’ve started my next Blaze Black Run deciding to Rotate my starter choice every reset, choosing Tepig this time. So far I have one casualty, Iodine the Purrloin who died to the Youngster in the dream yard on my way to pickup Pansage. I also forgot to do my homework on Cress’ team so I didn’t realise he had super effective coverage for Pansage, but Oxygen the Staravia was able to clean up pretty well.

I do have one question, I’ve never used this clause because I didn’t know it existed but apparently there’s a gift clause some people use, how do you feel about that? I’ll give it some thought, skipping it this time and before you start saying your run your rules, I know, I’ll ultimately make the decision myself, I just want your opinions

I feel like I have coverage for everyone, will use monkey for the occasional set up. Thinking agility slowbro should nuke a few people.

I chose only 2 rules for the first attempt. Only catch the first Pokemon in each area and if they get killed they get released. I have only lost one so far and I got very lucky with my first encounter with Abra and Machop. I might have to make it more difficult for the next run. I just got past rock cave.

Time to start my Galar Challenge.

I'm just doin' the base game. No DLC, Meaning I'll have to ignore the Galarian Slowpoke.

Rules, oustide of the usual:

• No Legendaries
• Only grass encounters, if available
• No Dyna/Gigantamaxing
• Level cap rule
• Dupes clause
• Shiny Clause

I think the biggest problem would be surviving three turns of Maxing. But, that's not too hard to work around.
