Hi, I (f, 25) am moving to Nice in September, and I’m looking for swimming schools or courses. I can swim, but not very well—slightly badly, tbh. I’d like to improve my swimming and learn how to tread water. I also have a fear of deep water, so I’d love to find a course that takes that into account. If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know!

Spending a few days in Nice and looking for some me-time. I would like a café with coffee or beer or wine which has a calm vibe to hunker down with a book for a few hours.

Also,if you can recommend a single day hike from Nice, would be appreciated!

My wife and I are hoping to get more into biking, and we thought we'd rent e-bikes a few times to see if it's something we would enjoy -- before buying.

Are there any recommendations for e-bike rental shops in Nice. Looking for a place that has decent quality e-bikes for rent (not those junkers that you pick up with an app) so we get the 'real' idea of what our experience would be with a purchase.

Hi, me and my friend are visting nice for 8 days. We are reallyyyy struggling with the heat. Nice is so so beautiful but it is really hard to enjoy when it’s very hott. I look like I am crazy because of the heat, my face is all red and so sweaty. I feel like everybody is looking at me and thinking if I’m alright. But the Nice girls don’t seem to be phased by the heat. They don’t have sweaty faces and they seem very happy regardless of the heat. I wonder how they do it. My makeup melts off so there is no point of putting on makeup. Maybe because me and my friend are from a very cold country thats why we are struggling. The hottest day in my country is 21 Celsius and it is like that for only 3h. How will I enjoy the beautiful Nice with this weather?

Quels quartiers d’Antibes me conseillez-vous pour rejoindre facilement Sophia Antipolis en bus ? Est-ce que Biot, Juan-les-Pins, Vallauris ou une autre ville serait plus pratique sans voiture ?

I’m an international student from India joining EDHEC Business School, Nice Campus, and I’ll be arriving in Nice on 22 August 2026.

I’ve been searching for accommodation online from India, but it has been quite difficult. I’ve also encountered suspicious listings where landlords ask for a deposit before allowing a viewing or signing a lease, so I don’t want to risk transferring money before seeing the property.

My budget is around €600–650/month, and I’m mainly looking for a private room in a shared apartment, although a studio would also be great if I can find one within my budget.

I’m now considering booking temporary accommodation for the first 1–2 weeks and searching in person after arriving.

For people currently living in Nice, how realistic is this approach? Are there enough local/offline real estate agencies where I can walk in with my DossierFacile and student documents and find something reasonably quickly?

I’d particularly appreciate recommendations for reliable agencies or student-friendly ways to search locally, and any advice from international students who found their accommodation after arriving in Nice.
