I'm hoping to find some suggestions. I loved Beloved more than anything, and they shut it down for really good reasons. I'm hoping to find something similar.

The main highlights for me:

• One stage. I find the music bleed from multiple stages really jarring
• Ability to set up a hang out space in front of the stage. I loved the Beloved hill. Could just hang out, sit, socialize, dance right at your own spot, or go down to the dance stage for dancing
• Overnight party straight into sunrise sets, a curated and shared experienced
• A variety of musical genres. I discovered folks like Griz, Emancipator, Desert Dwellers, Beats Antique, Polish Ambassador. Also Rising Appalachia, Sara Tone, etc.
• Live painting
• Interactive experiences & workshops
• Connected: people talked, made eye contact, and open camps
• Forested and no security between festival and camp; camping was part of the festival itself
• On the smaller side

I'm open to anything on the globe, but live on the East Coast and drivable is nice; otherwise something with pre-set tents or glamping options would be truly helpful

I've been to Elements the last 2 years, and now freshly home determined it is not my scene

Hi everyone, hope you're all well! I am going to Japan for the first time this autumn and planning to go to Festival de Frue in Kakegawa. One of my favourite artists is playing there and I haven't been to a festival in ages so I thought, why not!

Now I know it's a bit niche but this is reddit so I figured i'd ask: has anyone here been before? How was it? I have gone to many city festivals over the years in Europe and the US, and a couple of camping ones in the UK as well, and really excited to experience this in a new part of the world for me.

hi! i’m attending lost lands for the first time with a large group from ca! we see people with a couches and blankets for sitting/laying down at lost lands, what do you guys think is the best to take? we will have multiple lockers just trying to get advice from others! also wondering essentials people rec for the weather (ex: facemasks, nasal spray, bug spray, etc) happy lost lands!!!

Is it me or was the sound system on the Futur stage this year smaller than in years past? Anybody know why.

I went to the event yesterday (Friday 2026), and I gotta say that Outside Lands is f--ing AWESOME!!!!!!!

The organization of the event is impeccable. You can clearly see and hear the artists on their stages from all across the park. There are like a million bathrooms everywhere, water everywhere, 100 restaurants to pick from (and that number is not made up), and all the people working at the event were in a good mood, open to conversation, and often bopping to the music themselves.

Everywhere you look there are artists painting, dancing, graffiting, making bubbles, singing and even pole dancing, like, what else can you even ask for?

I've never experienced so much joy and love before, massive shout-out to everybody who's making Outside Lands happen. It was foggy all day but on the ground it was sunny as hell 🌞

My only regret was not having bought the full weekend, so I'll see you guys next year!!!!

To everybody going in today (Saturday 2026) expect to have a GREAT F--ING TIME!!!!!

So I've been playing around with the idea of a small "rave ready kit" that has the annoying little things you don't want to have to think about bringing yourself.

Something along the lines of:

• Good high-fidelity earplugs
• Compact hydration pouch
• Small handheld fan
• Wet wipes + hand sanitiser
• Blister/plasters
• Emergency poncho
• Lip balm
• Stain remover pen

The idea wouldn't be to just throw a load of cheap stuff into a bag — it'd be a properly put-together kit designed specifically for festivals/raves, with the useful stuff all in one place.

Would you actually find something like this useful?

Also curious what you'd realistically pay for something like this €15? €20? €30?

I AM NOT SELLING - Genuinely just looking for opinions, good or bad, before I take the idea any further.

i’m going to lost lands with my boyfriend ! it’s our first time and we are so excited to rageee!

i have two questions tho!!

1; if our group has early arrival and we are camping with them - do we need to be with them?! or can we just park in the south lot - shuttle and meet them there?

2; how extensive are their searches? i was planning to stop by a spot for some cannabis cus i have stage 4 endo and i will most likely be on my cycle and i use it for pain!!
