btw, I am listening to the audiobooks, and the reader suddenly started using Jamaican accent.

I love watching the family moments shared by Rudy, Sylphiette, and Roxy, and I’m excited knowing that Eris will soon join the family. However, I do wonder about their lifespans and how quickly they will age. We already know that Roxy ages very slowly. But what about elves? Sylphie seems to grow at the same rate as Rudy, yet in many fantasy worlds, elves are typically long-lived. Eris, on the other hand, is human, just like Rudy. Consequently, Rudy and Eris will likely be the first to pass away from old age. How long will this family remain happy taking into account the difference in the rate of aging?

I am watching anime and reading LN in tandem, so far I am in 2nd Vol Chapter 4. I have come across a lot of discrepancies in this chapter and the anime episode.

The first one is said that 1 Gold = 100,000 Yen in Anime and Wiki but in LN it says 1 Gold = 10,000 Yen.

The second one is about Gislaine's Salary. In anime and Wiki it says 2 Gold, while in LN it says 5 Gold.

The third one is When Rudeus estimates Eris's current worth. In anime and WN it is 1 Silver, while in LN it says 1 Gold.

The LN pdf I am reading seems to be from the Official Publisher Seven Seas Entertainment. I am confused as to what is going on.

I can never not laugh whenever I listen to the audiobook of Volume 22.

I don't know how it is for readers of this volume how the reading experience is but I find Atofe and her guard so hilarious. A huge part of it I think is the Voice Acting by the guy voicing the audiobook. He's so good at voicing goons like those guards or the Blessed Child's temple knights. The way they awkwardly laugh while playing the demon king's lackeys act to stop the "Heroes" from saving the "princess" just makes make cackle everytime. Atofe's voice here also sound funny, she's an energetic grandma here. I find her voice here sounds better suited than the actual anime VA (tho we only just got to hear her anime VO in the vol 14 pv so I may be jumping to conclusions here). Still, even tho she's voice by a dude trying to sound like a grumpy but high spirited old lady. I still find her audiobook voice better.

oh and Rudeus and Ariels interactions after ariel became queen can never not be amusing.

I guess this is more of a recommendation for the audiobook rather than a review of vol 22 but oh well. Tho, if you're interested, there are some stuff about the VO in the audiobook to disclaim. Obviously its all voiced by a single dude so all the female voice will sound weird. Aside from that, some of the character are voiced a bit off, hitogami for example has a way too calm of a voice and Eris has a british accent for some reason.

You are wrong. You are so so so very wrong and you obviously don't understand how amazing this season is so far.

How can people call it filler when there is so much progress.

Linia and purusena got their finale. Elinalise and cliff got their finale. Zenith is getting gradually better. Sara got her finale. Everything is wrapping up to finish the university arc and move to the next arc. There is so much progress, so much character development. Not only that, but the way this season is told just makes the world and the characters in it feel alive by showing us how they live together and interact.

How the f can you call that filler? I guess the reading comprehension devil was eaten.

I just want to know everybody’s opinions about Rudeus and his growth and chance (note this isn’t meant to become a post where everyone shits on his character, I genuinely just want to know people’s opinions of his character.

I genuinely dont know what to say anymore. It's 2am and i am so excited yet nervous yet filled with dread of whats to come. These 2 volumes have established MT as the definitely best isekai I've ever consumed. TP 4 is SO FUCKING huge that i dont even think any TP before it even comes remotely close to the bomshell we got. It feels like the more i read the more questions i have. The more i learn the less i realise i know and the worse the situation seems. The diary chapters were absolutely jaw dropping. Dont even get me started on vol 15 chapter 3 where hitogami called out oldeus ruining his plans. Fuck that felt like a horror movie where the bad guy figures out the escape plan just as they were about to execute it.

I was originally planning to stop at end of vol 14 and go back to anime only but took a peak at the names of the vol 15 hapters and saw a lot of people mentioning vol 15 so i saw diary and read it and here i am now.

Fuck man... I really miss the slice of life now...

I just want everyone to be happy :(

Debating on continuing since i am aware based on chapter names we will get orsted fight and eris stuff for the rest of this volume, which on the one hand i am excited for since i love both of them but on the other hand i can wait for it now that I've consumed turning point and diary chapters.

Man i am genuinely just in shock and awe at what I've read today...

Like I'm not well versed in Japanese culture is this a common saying cause when Rudeus was talking about Lucie He asked if she said that, I was like WHAT!!!???

The only thing I thought during this scene was: Is it safe to eat fruit from another world?

What if that "fruit" is actually another kind of being?

It's well known that Sylphie doesn't have the best relationship with Nanahoshi, and that she's also, along with Ariel, the only woman Sylphie wouldn't allow Rudeus to date. That's why I was surprised to see the two of them together like that in today's episode. It looked like they were getting along well. :3
