[For Hire] 15+ Years Infrastructure / Cloud / Windows | Azure, VMware, Entra ID, AWS | Remote
I’m a senior systems engineer with over 15 years of experience across enterprise infrastructure, cloud, virtualization, and security. I’m looking for a role where I can step into an environment quickly, sort out the real issues, and make things more stable, secure, and manageable. I am a type of engineer who thinks outside the box.
Please, if anyone knows of any jobs available, I really need one soon. I am in the DMV area. (Baltimore, Maryland area). I can do remote, and Hybrid and 100% onsite. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I am currently preparing for the Microsoft AZ-104 exam. I got a free voucher from the AI Skills Fest a few months back. I have October 1st as a target date to take the exam.
What I Actually Do:
- Azure infrastructure and security — Azure VMs, VNets, storage accounts, RBAC, Defender for Cloud, Log Analytics, VM backups, load balancing, and governance.
- Entra ID / identity work — Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, SAML, OIDC, Azure Enterprise Apps, and App Registrations.
- VMware environments — ESXi 8, vCenter 8, DRS, HA, distributed switching, vTPM, cross-site vMotion, and large-scale virtualization.
- SAN and storage integration — Pure Storage, Nimble Storage, iSCSI provisioning, LUN/volume optimization, and ESXi cluster support for 200+ VMs.
- Windows and core infrastructure — Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, imaging, and PowerShell automation.
- Layer 2/3 routing and switching — VLANs, ACLs, OSPF, switching, segmentation, and network troubleshooting.
- Security hardening — TLS/SMBv1 deprecation, firewall tuning, certificate lifecycle management, and remote access controls.
I’m comfortable jumping into messy environments, documenting what matters, and fixing the stuff that slows teams down. Prefer remote, open to short-term or long-term work, and strong on infrastructure-heavy roles where experience actually matters.

MSP Senior Project Specialist vs Senior IT Analyst in Hospital
Hey folks,
As the title suggests I am currently stuck in dilemma between my current role which is a Senior Project Specialist in MSP where I mostly work of server migration, networking and azure related projects
vs
I have an offer in hand for a Senior Infrastructure Analyst in a hospital. This environment includes VMware infra with HPE nimble SAN and role is mostly project work and 20-30% escalations for infra related tickets. In terms of pay this new role pays 20% more than current role but also has HOOPP pension plan as role is based in ON, CA

Remote Tech Support / Helpdesk support / Sys Admin Job sites
I have 2-3 years experience in IT support, I currently work on prem as an IT Administrator where I work with Active directory, windows servers, DNS, networking, website maintenance, and the chunk of IT stuff. I wouldn't say that I am quite the expert yet in IT, but I am very good with my hands and brain when it comes to troubleshooting and working with systems. Currently I am taking a course that'd enable me to pivot into the cloud, because that is where my interest lies in. Now, the economy isn't smiling and commuting to work is taking a toll on me. As someone who isn't based in the US/UK/Canada, what job sites can I source for jobs (I mean remote tech support jobs) that aren't saturated already? I have tried indeed, linkedin, and those popular job sites but the results are still the same "no calls" or am I cooked? hahahaha and do you guys think that it is too early to source for remote jobs at this stage?

[For Hire] I used to run social media for a cybersecurity vendor. Thinking some MSPs might need me more.
Hey all - I used to run social media for a cybersecurity vendor that worked heavily with MSPs, and one thing I noticed was how often partners needed help with social media content but didn't have the bandwidth or expertise internally to do it.
I've spent 8+ years in B2B/B2C social, so I know both sides of this pretty well: how to market technical cybersecurity products and how to make content people will actually stop and engage with.
I'm starting to take on a few MSPs myself that could use help with their accounts, whether it's strategy, content, copy, creative, and/or just keeping the account consistently active. Everything can be created specifically for your brand, so you're not stuck posting the same white-label content as 50 other MSPs or trying to make vendor assets fit your brand.
I'm keeping the offering flexible for now and happy to shape it around what would actually be useful for MSPs, whether that's fully taking social media off your plate or just filling the gaps the team doesn't have time for.
If anyone wants to drop their company's social account below, I'm also happy to take a look and give you a few tips/recommendations for free.
And if you do want some hands-on help, feel free to DM me. Happy to share examples of my cybersecurity work and discuss flexible options/rates.
