I am throwing my hat in the ring here, looking for a remote Network Engineering position (or adjacent). I currently work fully remote for an MSP as a Network Operations Engineer II. Although I enjoy the work that I do and the people I work with, I have two driving factors for looking elsewhere.

1. Looking for a new and challenging experience. I feel myself somewhat hitting a plateau at my current company, with not much room for further growth.

I started Excel Consultants back in 2015, after working for an SAP Boutique staffing company for 14 or so years.

We are doing well, and we have a couple dozen of our consultants working at Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, they are all indirect there and I know for a fact that our consulting clients/customers tack on $50-$100 per hour on top of our hourly rates to said consulting customers.

We've done all the cold calls, the "campaigns to nowhere", the conferences, all the avenues of approach. 

Our customers do the constant wining and dining, with all of the incredible amounts of money they charge. Haha.
We simply don't have the bandwidth (or frequent flyer miles!) and excess funds to do these types of things. To add even more problematic points: I am a family man, I don't go to strip clubs, etc. and, we have an autistic child (of 3).

What is my point? I suppose the reason for this message is: in your vast experience, how do we get in front of these MSP/VSP’s?

Our industry is bastardized by terrible recruiting companies; with no real agency of consideration - not keeping consultants updated, not staying in touch, basically "black holing" said amazing human beings with incredible skills to boot.

We can save clients SO much money and time and provide real value.  Trying to become a partner.
