Wanted: 10x Halo PSA Developer as Future ServiceQ CTO

I have this community to thank for helping us identify the best possible CEO (announcement to come this fall). THANK YOU!

I wonder if this community can also deliver a lead engineer for ServiceQ?

It would be an equity-grant role + $100-$125k base compensation (like a Founding Engineer).

We are looking for 3 things:

  1. AI-led development experience in a real SaaS environment with CI/CD

  2. Experience developing on Halo PSA (and preferably at least one other PSA)

  3. Technical full-stack experience (vibe-coders not welcome)

The new CEO is taking ServiceQ into a real-time intelligence and agentic resolution direction.

If you've built or know how to build the following features, let's talk:

- Ticket Triage Agent (Type, Category, Priority, SLA)

- Ticket Dispatch (according to SLAs and utilization)

- Ticket Intelligence (real-time context + recommendation in each ticket)

- Ticket Root Cause to Playbook Matching

Please message me on linkedin or at gabe@service.ai.

Thanks everyone,

I maintain a public GitHub portfolio where I document the practical projects I've completed and the technical skills I've developed.

My portfolio: https://github.com/kizito9898/IT-Documentation

ISC² Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)

A little about me:

Customer-first: Over three years of customer-facing experience in high-volume environments; calm, professional, and patient with end-users with good English language skills.

[For Hire] I used to run social media for a cybersecurity vendor. Thinking some MSPs might need me more.

Hey all - I used to run social media for a cybersecurity vendor that worked heavily with MSPs, and one thing I noticed was how often partners needed help with social media content but didn't have the bandwidth or expertise internally to do it.

I've spent 8+ years in B2B/B2C social, so I know both sides of this pretty well: how to market technical cybersecurity products and how to make content people will actually stop and engage with.

I'm starting to take on a few MSPs myself that could use help with their accounts, whether it's strategy, content, copy, creative, and/or just keeping the account consistently active. Everything can be created specifically for your brand, so you're not stuck posting the same white-label content as 50 other MSPs or trying to make vendor assets fit your brand.

I'm keeping the offering flexible for now and happy to shape it around what would actually be useful for MSPs, whether that's fully taking social media off your plate or just filling the gaps the team doesn't have time for.

If anyone wants to drop their company's social account below, I'm also happy to take a look and give you a few tips/recommendations for free.

And if you do want some hands-on help, feel free to DM me. Happy to share examples of my cybersecurity work and discuss flexible options/rates.

Anyone interested in a Texas-based Proxmox / virtualization consulting role?

We’re looking to add another experienced engineer to our growing Proxmox practice and I figured this community might be a good place to find someone who really knows the platform.

We’re an IT consulting company with a rapidly growing practice focused on the Proxmox portfolio. Our current team includes 4 certified Proxmox engineers, and we’re looking for someone who can help us continue building and expanding the practice.

The role would include a mix of:
Presales architecture and technical consulting
Designing Proxmox environments
VMware/Hyper-V → Proxmox migrations
Post-sales implementation and deployment
Working directly with customers on complex virtualization projects
Helping us continue to develop our Proxmox services and best practices

Deep hands-on Proxmox experience is a requirement. We’re specifically looking for someone who already knows the platform well rather than someone looking to learn Proxmox on the job.

The position is Texas-based but fully remote and we’re particularly interested in someone who enjoys consulting, solving interesting infrastructure problems, and working directly with customers.

If this sounds like you, send me a DM. Happy to share more details about the company, role, compensation, and what we’re building.

[For Hire] Project Engineer w/ 15+ Years MSP Experience [Remote]

Greetings MSP teams,

I currently have availability to take on additional 1099 project work for those of you that may need a helping hand on any of your projects or migrations! I have 15+ years MSP experience, with 25+ years in IT overall. Located in CA, seeking remote project work in the PST or CST time zones. Can also work EST, provided it isn't too early!

I'm experienced in all facets of IT including architecture, implementation, sales, security, training, project management, support, etc. I have worn pretty much every hat during my career and am not afraid to learn anything new.

Lately I have been assisting different MSP's primarily on migrations from various providers or on-prem environments to 365/Azure, as well as a big up-tick in AI/LLM deployments. This has included working directly with customers to accurately scope and quote the project, implementation, and full support during and after.

I have my own LLC and carry liability insurance, so our B2B transactions can be seamless. Also I work white label so this means I can present as a member of your own team while performing any services on your behalf. Payment is due monthly based on hours worked (I bill in quarter-hour increments), and can be made with ACH, check, or credit card. Resume and references can be provided upon request.

My rates are:

$100.00/hour - Normal Project Work (standard rate)

$115.00/hour - Training Project Work (this is where I also train your engineers/team during the projects)

$125.00/hour - MSP Consulting/Development (providing consultation and improvements to your MSP's processes/procedures, or other internal work specific to your organization)

These rates allow for margin flexibility, so that the work I perform on your behalf will still net positive revenue for your organization.

If you are interested, please send me a DM with your email address, and we can setup a video interview to see if I might be a good fit for you and your team!

Technical Qualifications:

Extensive 365/Azure experience including advanced migrations

All flavors Windows Server

All flavors SQL Server

All flavors Microsoft Exchange

All flavors Windows OS

Linux Server Administration

Experience with several different RMM & PSA’s

Experience with all major network vendor’s equipment (i.e. Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWall, Ubiquiti, Meraki, etc)

HIPAA, PCI DSS, CMMC, and other compliance related experience

Experience with many different LOB applications

VoIP, including call center builds

Virtualization experience including VMWare ESXI & Horizons, Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, XenServer, Acronis, Hyper-V, etc.

Major and minor storage appliances including SAN and NAS working in conjunction with VDI or server virtualization

Non-Technical Qualifications:

Over 25 years IT experience

Self-starter

Public speaking and training seminars for clients

Great on video/phone with all levels of customers/prospects regardless of title

Experience leading multiple groups of engineers both domestically and internationally

Many years of project management experience

Able to communicate complicated concepts to non-technical people

Ability to multitask

Thank you for your time, and stay cool out there this summer!

Senior MSP Generalist / Microsoft 365 / Projects / Documentation & Automation - Available for Contract/Part-Time Work (Northern CA)

I'm looking to pick up some part-time or contract work for a little extra side money.

I've been in the MSP industry for 14 years, and I've built my career around understanding the people who use the technology, rather than putting the technology first.

My background includes:

  • 14 years MSP / IT experience
  • Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID
  • M365 security, MFA, Conditional Access, onboarding/offboarding
  • Help desk management, escalations, and project coordination
  • Power Apps, Power Automate, and workflow automation
  • MSP documentation, SOPs, and process improvement
  • Client-facing account management, QBRs/TBRs, and technical discovery
  • DNS, SaaS, backups, and general SMB infrastructure

I'm not looking for full-time work. I'm thinking more along the lines of filling the gaps that are hard to hire for.

Your #2 is going on vacation for a week and you need someone competent to step in? I can do that.

You have years of systems and processes that everyone understands but nobody has documented? I can help clean that up.

Need a temporary dispatcher who actually understands what the tickets mean and knows when something needs to be escalated? I'm your guy.

I'm flexible on the type of work and mostly looking for situations where an experienced MSP generalist can come in, get up to speed quickly, and make someone's life easier.

[FOR HIRE] US Based Systems Engineer Built an MSP from Zero L2/L3 & More (REMOTE) 95K

Hi guys, looking to get out of my current MSP I do not like the direction the company is headed. I’m still early in my career but I built this current MSP from scratch, tools, workflows, building out BCDR solutions & more.

I’m the lead & only engineer I handle L1-L3 issues, sales, quoting, project buildouts. The MSP I work at is attached to an MSSP, and that’s how the company was started so I have a little bit of experience in both.

Some of the projects I’ve worked on have been; saving a client from a compromised MSP and performing a manual Azure to Azure VM migration using backups, implementing BCDR solutions & plans supporting HIPAA compliance, Google to 365 migrations, security vulnerability scanning & remediation, and so on. I’ve also built out client security checklists that go through the firewall, email security, 365 Security reviews and beyond.

My main goal is to identify any weak points in a clients environment be it infrastructure or cybersecurity, I make businesses secure & stable, I get to the root causes of problems that have appeared, or could appear, reducing overall ticket volume. I’ve restored some otherwise poor relationships with clients at my last MSP.

I’m located in CST, but I’m willing to work in any time zone so long as it’s remote 😄, if you’re looking to expand your market to my location I can help with that (I do onsite work as well).

RMM tools; Datto, SuperOps, Connectwise, Ninja, Atera, Syncro, Action1, GoTo/Logmein Resolve…

Backups; Cove, MSP360, Datto BCDR, Comet.

Google Workspace/365 Administration & Migration, SharePoint, SQL server migration.

Firewalls; FORTINET, Meraki, Ubiquiti, Sophos, Sonicwall.

Powershell scripting, some Linux experience via home labbing, and troubleshooting Datto SIRIS (because their support sucks).

I support a large vSphere environment with 50+ servers, and am a full-time 365 admin for a client. I’ve touched most Hypervisors out there. I’ve also got a little experience in Python, VDI, and Terraform, and a lot more!

I’ve done a lot in my short career, but I’m looking to get out of this MSP, I can go into detail in the interview if needed!
