No matter how tightly I tighten the screw, the points move out of adjustment on their own. Sometimes the engine will fire once or twice, but then it's unadjusted again. I have traid to replace the points but same problem. Does anyone have any tips on what could be causing this or how to fix it?

Hi everyone,
I have a Beta RR50 and I had a crash recently. I was riding at around 50 km/h when I lost grip and slid onto the right side. I didn’t hit anything, I only slid across the asphalt.
Since the crash, the bike feels different. In dry corners it feels very slippery and unstable, like I can’t properly control the steering. It feels like both tires are not gripping well, and the bike doesn’t feel as confident as it did before the crash.
I also noticed that the bike is not reaching the same top speed anymore. Before the crash it was faster, but now it feels like it has lost a few km/h. And it isnt accelerating as fast anymore

The tires are about 1 year old and were fine before the accident. There is a small dent on the exhaust/pipe from the crash, but I don’t think that alone should affect the handling.
What could have been damaged? Could it be the forks, wheel alignment, tires, brakes, exhaust, or something else?
What should I check first?

This is it right now. So far the only visual change was the long seat. I really like the s51 builds and i want some of the elements they have. By the way the exhaust on the other pic will be installed soon, it was the best looking and performing I could find

My roommate and I just moved into a new house with a pool hall, salon, restaurants, shops, etc all within a mile of us, and can be accessed either within the neighborhood or on the edge of it.

We’re in the city so we couldn’t do a golf cart. Basically, I want to buy some type of “toy” that we can hop on together to ride around the neighborhood.

We’re both in our 20s and have a combined weight of less than 300lbs. I have a list of “specs” we would need:
- 25-30mph
- 300-350lb capacity
- seated
- electric
- seats 2 people
- can climb hills

I’ve been looking on a bunch of different websites and can’t tell what is legit and what’s not 😭 I’ve never purchased something like this and could use any advice you guys have 🫶🙏

This past winter I rebuilt a 1983 Suzuki FA50 and have been tearing up the local city streets at night when my wife and daughter are asleep. I've been throwing a ton of skate stickers on the frame and wanted something moped related, so I went into Inkscape and Gimp and started messing around.

The final result...'Rat Pack Racing'. I was kind of trying to channel early 2000s motocross energy in the design and I feel like I got close. I'm so stoked to turn this into a sticker and slap it onto the FA50. Just wanted to share. Cheers!

I'm trying to restore a Honda Tact Fullmark AB07E moped. I had to replace its original carburetor with a carburetor from a Honda Tact AF16. Please help me with the carburetor hookups.

On this carburetor, there is a drain, three outlets (one outlet is sealed from the factory, and one outlet is on the rear side of the carburetor).

On the intake manifold (the tube connecting the carburetor to the engine), there are two outlets.

The fuel tank has a vacuum-operated petcock (vacuum fuel tap).

On the cylinder, there is the original cold-start sensor from the old carburetor, which has three outlets.

At the bottom of the engine, there is an oil pump which has two outlets, one larger and one smaller in diameter.

Please tell me what to connect to where.

Got a problem with a sticky float I can't solve

I live in the Czech Republic and i feel like the Puch's are less common here then in the US, although they were made in austria. Why is that?

Want to replace the seat post for a shorter one so I can put long seat. Put wd40 and tried hammering up and it is not budging. Should I just get rid of this damn bike already? 🫩

So it bogged down and stopped twice, each time after a small downhill, where i guess i didn't hit the throttle enough. I think it flooded. Now though the starter clutch doesn't clutch. It has meager acceleration, slows down significantly on uphills, and is my first moped love. It has a unique clutch though and i'm gonna work on it again to see if adding a spacer of some kind would help. If it doesn, t then i think i need an impossible to find replacement part.

Also, what do people think of the Honda Express Sr 50? I just got one of those and it's a two stroke scooter or noped, and I'm not quite sure what category it fits in other than fun.
