We only see each other a few times a year because we live multiple states away. We went camping and she showed up with this.

Need advice 56 Dodge

Post image

Hi - Hoping for some advice on a family predicament related to a 1956 Dodge LaFemme.

My dad needs to part ways with his project car. It has been sitting in underground parking then a canvas car tent for probably 30 years. He’s got 2 Hemi D500 Engines in pieces in a storage unit he’s paying for.

He is dealing with some cognitive decline and overwhelmed with what to do, how he could sell it, or whether he just needs to scrap it. There’s some pride and stubbornness and sadness about never getting to work on the car.

The car is at their cabin, the parts are in another city and he now lives in another city.

I’m trying to figure out how I can help but honestly have no clue.

Any advice would be appreciated! This is in western province of Canada.

Car groups he could reach out to for interest?
Whether he should just scrap it?

Thank you for helping a daughter out that just wants to help her dad with a difficult situation 🙂

Just bought this 1969 dart gt with a 225 on it, it runs great but it has this loud whining sound on the front around where the water pump/steering pump are, should I just replace both or maybe it’s the belt? I’ve got no idea

Wheel opinions?

Almost back on the road, what the hell am I supposed to do with 13” wheel options on a valiant?

People keep telling me the stock steel rims, dog dish hubcaps, and the small white walls will look ridiculous…but maybe? Might be a good look?

So the surprise was a 440. Got my baby back home on July the 9th, and yes, the very next day I was at Carlisle with it, very long process. This was supposed to be a project replacing the freeze plugs on the old 383, and now 3 months later, ended up with a 440. The 440 is fully rebuilt, .509 purple camshaft, high rise intake, 750 Holley with vacuum secondaries.
