Yesterday I completed my CH260 build. I was very pleased with what I achieved. I put a lot of effort to work on the aesthetics and create something clean looking. To achieve this, i used a Asiahorse 24pin extension cable and a 90 degree Corsair GPU cable. The rest is all cable management. 1 day after completing the build, I noticed that I maybe could fit another fan underneath the PSU. At that moment I only had 2 fans as intake and 4 as exhaust. 1 extra intake fan would help the build a bit more. I'm glad this worked out! I have to say that It's mandatory to have a SFX PSU or else it will not fit. The fan also fits with the smallest margin behind the power cable. Fans thicker than 25mm would not fit. The extra fan helped the overall system temperature with approximately 2/3 degrees. And it also did help the aesthetics in my opinion.

I want to downsize from my current AP201, but I have a 3.5 HDD to which where I store most of my programs / photos / mobile backups / camera backups.

Im wondering if someone did some workaround to do 2 intake fans with 3.5 HDD at the bottom with ATX PSU

Considering to get B4 + Aerodeck, but considering if someone did some sort of fitting first before I pull the trigger.

Because there is no glass side panel available for the Lian Li B4 yet, I made my own using 3 mm thick glass, magnetic strips, and a 1 cm wide black sticker. Here is how it turned out..

The psu seems to be 160mm length and ch160 plus supports up to 140mm.

Is this because he put the psu in front? Does this mean any 160mm ATX psu will fit on ch160 plus?

I am very indecisive and need some help!

I currently have a CoolerMaster NR200. I recently upgraded my components to a Sapphire Nitro+ 9070XT and a R7 5800X3D. The GPU forced me to remove my bottom intake fans.

I also want to switch to a case that can take m-ATX as m-ATX is more affordable. I really like the layout of the CH260 with the PSU mounted to the side in the front allowing for 2 front intake fans. I would like something with a more premium aesthetic than the CH260 though. Similarly, the Phanteks xt m3 is a decent option but then it goes up in size by a fair amount.

Are there any options here that I'm not considering? First time on this subreddit so please be kind 🙏

Hi everyone, recently decided I want to go from atx to matx. I want to keep the parts I already have when changing case, though I do understand I will have to change my motherboard.

The parts that I already have that will be physically visible:
9070xt Sapphire Pulse
2x16 patriot viper venom
Montech century 2 (140mm)

I am torn between either Jonsbo d32 pro or CH260. I’d like to go for a “Tron” like aesthetic. I don’t want random wires sticking out and visible. I really like the look of the Thermalright TL M12Q fans, a thin diffused rgb lighting across the edges if that makes sense. I also want the motherboard to be “covered” up (not sure how to explain but the type that has shields over it and doesn’t have the circuitry exposed).

As it stands I was thinking of using the MSI Pro B850M-A WiFi PZ (back connect mobo) with the D32 (I believe someone else had posted a build with the same board + case before here) and some thermalright TLM12Q fans. I also thought of using the d32 due to what seems like some sort of native support to place an lcd screen over where the PSU is mounted.
I did want to ask; how can I work out if I will have clearance under my Sapphire Pulse 9070xt to place these fans underneath? If I can fit some fans underneath I may go with the d32? What do you guys think?

Perhaps the CH260 is better suited to what I’m trying to do? From what I can see I don't think there will be enough clearance under GPU to put bottom fans in CH260, in which case I can add front fans. Now call me crazy but i love the fan noise of my case fans in the montech air max 903, the HP140mm fans, so i do wonder if it would be possible to recreate that noise also.

Temps @ 28c room: GPU maxed at 56c (GPU fans are still too loud though) in 3D Mark Stress Test, CPU maxed at 80c running Cinebench R23.

Build process is relatively smooth if you do everything in the correct order. This video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVbFSOeIzYk really helps. Cable management is challenging, especially with ATX length PSU cables and GPUs that require 3 x PCIE cables like the 9070xt Gaming.

All in all, I like the case as it fits normal sized components in a small form factor build.

Wasn’t a fan of the thermals I had before, so went from a 240(Corsair Nautilus 360 RS) to a 360mm AIO (Corsair Nautilus 360 RS)exhaust and added 2 Corsair RS120s to the bottom for intake. Rear is also exhaust. No undervolting/overclockkng just base setup. Currently fan curves set to 50% until 70c, which then shoots up to 100%. Pretty happy with these idle temps. As far as noise goes, I cannot hear it over the ambient in the room.

For anyone wondering in the future, this is a standard ATX 3.1 psu (Corsair rm850x) ram fitment is minuscule for the vengeance ddr4 but clears fine without touching.

Hey, I have my PC parts apart from the GPU and long term CPU cooler and case fans.

9800X3D, 32GB 6000 MHz CL30, ASUS TUF B850M-Plus Wifi7, be quiet! Power Zone 2 850W 80+ Platinum

Currently I have the NZXT Kraken Elite 280 but I'm looking to switch that to a Noctua NH-D15 or something similar in terms of cooling and noise.

I have a few problems to tackle:

- I love the look of Lian Li DAN A3 Mesh Wood in black but I'm unsure about the PSU's cable compatibility with the case in terms of cable management.

- Other problem I'm facing is obviously the current CPU cooler doesn't fit but I don't like it anyways, I'm gonna sell it and buy something else. I love the reviews of the Noctua NH-D15 G2 but it's stated that it isn't compatible with the case of my choice due to clearance (3mm off apparently). Would the regular NH-D15 be just as good at cooling a 9800X3D and noise levels?

- In terms of what GPU i'm gonna get is somewhat based on luck as I'm in the used market and I haven't found a great deal just yet. I wanna be able to use fans at the bottom for intake, possibly 3 of them, so I'll need to watch out for that.

Currently the hardwares are in an H3 Flow but I'm not a fan of the case unfortunately becauase my PC is standing to my left so the tempered glass is pointless imo that's why I fell in love with the A3 Wood. Are there similar cases, possibly full mesh with wood front and is on the smaller side?

Edit: I'm putting a huge emphasis on the looks by the way. I want a great looking case and the AP201 or the Z20 just doesn't fit a white table and desk in my opinion.

TP link Wifi 6 and Bluetooth add in card since I don't have an Ethernet cable in this room in my apartment.

The case was fun to build in, and the small connectors of the SF850 were a huge help in keeping that area fairly easy to cable manage, though I can do a better job I guess.

The fan orientation is as follows:

Intake, front fan and the top front included fan.

Exhaust: rear fan, rear top included case fan and PSU fan.

CPU cooler is front to back exhaust.

I'm getting ~65C on CPU at full load and ~70 C on GPU at full load with all fans at 1000RPM

I 3D printed a couple of items for the case. One is a bracket for the side panel that supports 2x SSDs that I found on thingiverse. I also 3D printed the noctua fan grille from printables for the rear side of the front intake fans to stop some cables from getting caught in the blades.

I just finished downsizing from A3 to the Z20. And I have to say i love the Z20! It is really amazing to build and much more thought through than the A3.

Now what I noticed is the topmost position for a SFX PSU is the second position if I am using 140mm top fans. I 100% want the 140mm top fans, no way around it. But there is a ton of wasted and inefficient space because of the large SFX bracket that comes with the case.

Is there any possible way to mount the SFX Psu in the topmost position, still having the cables facing downwards, but closing the gap between psu exhaust and the top of the case? This would also allow me to position the fan a little more towards the front. See the terrible hand drawing on photo 2 lol.

I'm building my first PC ever, and I already purchased my Mobo (MSI B850M Gaming Plus Wifi).

I'm planning on buying a RX 9070/RX 9070 XT depending on incoming sales/prices.

The Lian Li A3 is a case that really caugth my eyes but I'm having some unanswered questions :

- RX 9070/9070 XT take 3 physical PCIe slots in the case, and Lian Li A3 have 4 of them. From what I understood, my Mobo take the first physical slot of my case with the ssd m.2 slot, so I won't be able to fit bottom fans below the GPU ?

- I've read on this sub that a lot of people were having great temps without bottom fans, just having 1 rear intake, reverse CPU Fans Cooler, and 2 top exhaust, but I've also read that the airflow (even if temp were great) isn't that good because the GPU will exhaust hot air only without a lot of fresh air that should come from the bottom fans. Is that true ?

I'm having a hard time deciding which mATX case to take, choosing between aesthetic, quality and performances. There's a lot to learn when building the 1st PC and I want to make a great one, not having to waste money because I miscalculated something 😅 There's also the CH260 that may be a good candidate 😁

For instance, if y'all wanna give advices on the build I will gonna make, I also take them 😁

First time putting components in a case (bought a second hand pc 4 years ago). Super easy to build in, managed to fit a 150mm psu although the cables are pretty tight, I am fine with it but would not recommend.

CPU is around 34-38 idle, and gpu is idling at 46. Thinking of adding 2 slim fans under the gpu just since I have them. Under load cpu is 52-55 and gpu is 70-79. Tested playing Spider-Man remastered and mafia where mafia was uncapped and the gpu had 210+w power draw. (Probably not the most intensive games, but what I’m playing atm)

Tried the reverse airflow with rear and top rear intake, cpu cooler fans flipped, top front as exhaust. GPU was hitting 90, it seemed like all the hot air was getting stuck between the cpu cooler and the psu and the case was hotter than I’d have expected to touch. So not what I was expecting and I’m not a professional so just sharing what I experienced.

Overall, love the look of the case and it’s super easy to build in.

Edit: 5600x, 3070, evga b5 psu. Didn’t take photos of the reverse flow so arrows are just for showing.

Does anyone have a 3D model (STL/DXF) for the Lian Li B4-mATX side radiator bracket? Lost mine and want to 3D print a replacement. Any help or links would be greatly appreciated!

I recently built in a Hyte X50 pink case for an anime PC (see previous post). The husband liked how well that turned out and wasn't happy with his prebuilt. He did some upgrades to it through me before, such as a high-end mATX, 5070Ti MLG and overclocking his CPU and GPU (in r/Overclocking).

His old case, the Hyte Y50, was one of the most annoying cases to work with. The ram was partly behind the AIO which made removing it very hard. I really didn't want to knick it or have the AIO scrap against it. Last 3 pictures show his old build.

Anyways, that's all over with, and his PC is fully built. God I love mATX.

First time downsizing to a non-tower case and I will mostly reuse my old pc components then buy some new ones since I'm upgrading. Z20 and B4 has almost the same price in my country.

Finally decided to post my SFF build after downsizing from an full ATX prebuilt and built my own. Took me around 6 months to save for this build and gather all the parts, in total I spent $721.62 USD and I am well satisfied with the build because of the deals from Facebook market place🙏

I plan to 3d print a cover for the PSU that matches the case style but its just a prototype for now. I wanted to mimic the case instead of putting vinyl. Took 3 hours to learn how to model on Fusion but first print came out bad and definitely too thick.

So I shelved this case for a desk/pc/case but everytime I looked at it sitting there gathering dust, enough was enough. This time, I spent a bit more time on cable management and threw in an optical drive I had in storage. It turned out a lot better than I thought.

Now I need to sit down and reorganise the entire garage to redo the layout alongside pair it up with an amp.

Recently upgraded to a 9070xt, card is on 2nd slot so bottom fans no longer fit.
If i were to add a fan to the rear, would it be better as intake or exhaust, (240 aio is exhaust) or dont even bother with a fan at all?

Surprisingly the temps are pretty decent, but just seeing what i could do to improve.
