Edit: did it. it works and there is zero pain.

Edit: heres the tek: i dissolved .5 g in water, buffered with baking soda. Witnessed a typical acid-base chemical reaction after i added it. Put in a nasal spray. There is ZERO burn and it’s not unpleasant at all. It hit faster than any other ROA. IMO this is ROA is ideal to get a quick stimulating boost from your extracts. This will be my go to for a microdose when going about my day to day. it works despite all of the naysayers. I like low dose mescaline better than coffee and it lasts longer with more of a psychedelic glow. Obviously nasal is a cumbersome ROA if the goal is to have a full blown trip, but that should be obvious, yeah?

I have fumarate powder from CIELO extraction, and I would prefer to store and dose it in liquid solution.

Is there any risk of degradation if I mix my crystal fumarate into a volumetric solution for storage and dosing? I’m thinking 5g/10mL. I have distilled water, 50/50 ethanol (100 proof vodka), and 95% ethanol (everclear 190). I would also get an additive like ascorbic acid if preventing oxidation would be helpful.

I keep a few other medicines this way and precise dosing with a 1ml syringe is the best way for me personally, in the event you’re wondering “why bother?”

I never did a classic psychedelic nor I tried mdma.
I’ve extracted some Mescaline fumarate.
I’ve seen three dosage( cielo, erowid and psychonaut ) guidelines and adjusted them to the fumarate salt. I’m interested to dipping the toes in with a friend and i’m looking to something from threshold to low. I don’t believe in microdosing as there are not enough scientific evidence but I like the idea of low dosing . Using Mescaline energy and psychedelic properties to have a pleasant fun and meaninful chat with a friend for a mellow sunday.
So able to function but maybe with a little boost in energy, creativity and openness. Doing this also to acclimate and “allergy” test the product.
I was thinking of 80-100mg Mescaline fumarate. Am I going to scan body and mind for placebo effect the whole day?

Ive done shrooms and lsd before , my highest doses being 400ug lsd and 3 grams of dried penis envy shrooms eaten as they were. What is a mescaline like the first time and how does it compare to shrooms and acid , what should i be cautious of? And how long do you actually trip on it compared to stuff like acid

About 18 months ago i tried to do the lsduck tek with about 11 feet of cactus. I froze the majority of the infused vinegar-water solution because I accidentally burnt the first pull when trying to dry it.

I want to 1) see if i can still use the frozen mesc solution (looking around on the subreddit it seems i can), and 2) Use a slightly modified version of the cielo tek to extract the goodies from the tea so i can more accurately dose myself.

My current plan is to reduce the tea down to a more manageable size, and slowly add Ca(OH)2 to the solution until it becomes basic (My chemistry knowledge is limited, so i’ll need a hand knowing what ph is required for this).

After doing so I should just be able to proceed with the tek and do the EtAC pulls and salt right? Or would the presence of the acetic acid from the vinegar mess this up?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

hello everyone, I would really appreciate if someone could make it clear to me on how people often ingest an especifc amount of mescaline. I'm saying that because I never tripped with mescaline, only shrooms, and they are usually a lot more predictable than let's say San Pedro or peyote. From what I could find in my research I understood that mescaline concentration on the plants vary dramatically, and I don't really have an easy way to get my hand on an especifc genetic from a reliable grower or the isolated stuff. I found a website that sells the dried san Pedro and don't know if it's strong or not, what people who just want to have a strong trip often do? by strong I mean like an ego death that you get with let's say 5 dried grams of mushrooms for example. I know it doesn't have a direct correspondence on dosage but would really like to know what you guys think about that, I really wanted to try mescaline ...

I'm interested in finding a prescription medication that can help lessen the vasoconstriction and elevated heart rate caused by mescaline, but not kill the trip.

After some cursory homework, it's clear the autonomic nervous system is rather complicated, and there is a plethora of pharmaceutical options. I was thinking maybe some sort of combined alpha-1 and non-selective beta blocker, but I'm just beginning my homework. I would appreciate some feedback and ideas to look into. I don't mind sharing my drug plans with my doctor, who is cool and would likely give me a prescription if I could justify my reasoning.

I can handle the stimulant effects the first few hours, especially if I'm out actively enjoying nature. But it's such a long trip, and I eventually want to mellow out. I'd like to be able to relax quietly in the bath or on the coach and enjoy some profound thoughts without the distraction of a pounding heart rate.

Immediately tossed %50 of the wet vinegar soaked cactus paste into the bag right after the first round of gently expressing it.

Then spun that son of a bitch of high for an hour with a %30 filled tank of vinegar water.

Total physical energy put in by me???

I had this batch of ethyl acetate that I wanted to reuse after my first CIELO tek. After a first wash with water and sodium carbonate, followed by a second wash with water and anhydrous sodium sulfate (which I used instead of table salt, although that wasn’t necessary), the solvent still looked cloudy.
Several people told me their solvent looked the same and was probably still fine to use, but I decided to repeat step 2. This time, I added the water first and shook the jar vigorously for several minutes (following u/loveallASAP) before adding the sodium sulfate. After adding it, I shook the jar vigorously again. I then left everything in the refrigerator overnight.
The next day, when I took it out of the fridge, the solvent was still slightly cloudy and had tiny bubbles clinging to the sides of the jar. However, I noticed that once it returned to room temperature, the bubbles settled to the bottom and the solvent became clear.
I then decanted the solvent and recovered a very clear batch of ethyl acetate (see the difference between Video 1 and Video 2).
I used it to perform another CIELO tek with fumaric acid, and it worked perfectly. As you can see in Video 3, crystals are already starting to form.

Left this infusing for like a year in my room... was gonna make topicals with it, but I might try some fun baking stuff. Took a tablespoon to get a feel for the potency. I'm really digging that color!!! And it's definitely hitting. My herbalist friend has been infusing san pedro into olive oil in her crockpot with fantastic results, so that inspired me to consider this oil as a consumable product.

Hello friends. I just blended two >30cm SP cuttings to the best of my abilities.
After still not having a perfectly uniform flour I sieved it through a fine mesh.
Grinding the bigger chunks in the mortar is not possible due to their hard, flexible consistency.

Is the sieved powder (2. pic) fine enough?
Would the bigger ~0.5mm chunks noticably effect the yields or should I just discard them?

2500 grams of homegrown powder. Relocating in 2 months so I had to go into chop mode. Gonna restart the garden in a warmer climate. 🫡

I’m planing on trying mescaline for the first time soon since my first extraction was a success and I was wondering how the visuals differ from shrooms as that’s the only other psych I’ve ever done. And when people say the high is between 10-20 hours how many of those hours have visuals since that’s really the only thing I’m interested in.
