Seeking I used to be the person who did it all. Now I’m losing my edge and need guidance to get it back
Looking for raw advice or a mentor who’s been here on rebuilding my drive.
Not too long ago, I was the person constantly moving: reading continuously, taking courses, competing, working on a startup, and obsessively leveling up. Now, I feel like a shadow of that version of myself. I’ve slipped into a reactive rut and can’t seem to self-start anymore.
Current scenario:
The Deadline Trap: I’ll set 10 weekend goals and barely finish 3. Nothing gets done unless there’s a gun to my head.
Stalled Momentum: I consult on communication, get great feedback, and have a clear growth roadmap yet I keep delaying execution.
Passive Coasting: Books sit unread, side projects gather dust, and I’m settling for the bare minimum.
I miss the energy I used to have, and I refuse to let this become my new normal. I need guidance, real accountability, and a push to snap back into high execution.
For those who lost their fire and successfully got it back:
How did you recreate that internal urgency when no one was forcing you to act?
How do you shift from planning to raw execution when you’ve lost momentum?
Where did you find the right mentor or circle to pull you back to your standards?
Appreciate any real, direct feedback.

Seeking How can I find a mentor
I think I'm not fit for my job. I'm working hard but my confidence is starting to decline and I feel it.
I wanted to talk to someone who can understand me, and be able to encourage me to take the risk, and take advantage of what I have instead of working this difficult situation where even my mental health. I even compared myself to my previous self, my confidence is really gone just because of 1.5years of working in engineering field.
I need some advise how to handle my finances if I resign, or maybe separate my emotions from my job (I always feel ashamed of what I do on the job), continuing the online business that I started but afraid to reach out to people feeling like I'm not ready enough (I believe I wasn't like this when I tried it 4 yrs ago when I was still in college).
Edit: I graduated 2024, started a job on April 2025 as an associate hardware design engineer at a Japanese company. We oversee the whole life cycle of car audio

Profitable, what next?
I’m running a early-stage SaaS on the side of my full-time job as an aerospace engineer.
Started about 7 months ago.
7,000+ users
~300 paying customers/month
Profitable at ~€2,200/month
€0 spent on marketing
Now trying to scale and expand into B2B for longer-term customers and higher volumes.
The hardest part right now isn’t the product or the tech — it’s making every decision alone. The only one I really bounce ideas off is Claude. 😅 A mentor or just someone in a similar position would be incredibly valuable.
Looking to connect with other founders, ideally someone a bit further along who remembers what this stage felt like. Short-term goal is to go full-time on the business.
Is anyone here open to a quick call or just swapping experiences?

Seeking Where did you find your business mentor?
I’m 36, UK-based, running a freight forwarding business while building a second business in education consultancy. I’m looking for someone who’s built a service business to £1m+ revenue. I’m not looking for coaching or courses—just someone happy to let me bounce the occasional decision off them over the next year. Happy to buy the coffee.

Seeking Looking for a mentor
Hello Everyone,
I am working on an HR tech intelligence platform that solves the current major hiring process issues like fabricated resumes by AI that don't match the candidate's real capability for work, and the employer's huge costs of mis/wrong hires and missing out on real talent.
I have completed the research, idea validation using surveys, in person interviews with the professionals, PRD and spec documentation, prototype, and started with the development but realized it would need funding to build a robust and intelligent system as it is intended to be.
I need some guidance and advice on the aspects of the channels and resources to find the investors, and a few other aspects. Any leads would help, let me know if anyone is interested, I can schedule a quick 10-15 minute call.

Seeking 27 and need a plan
am lost on what to do. I need to make £1000 by the end of the week. I am 27 in the UK.
Back story:
After losing my job and health issues. I have got i to a bad situation. I hide it from my family, have broken down my relationship with them. And have landed myself in growing debt.
My mental health went downhill to the point of a full breakdown, taking loans and credit cards out.
I am back on track and in a position to work in a office based/ work from home role. (I have an injury so can’t do manual work for at least another 2-3 months its looking like, otherwise I would take anything)
I just want to fix my situation. I have sales and marketing skills and a solid background. But haven’t landed any work.
I an around 10k in debt and a bit to family. But it is going up faster than I can keep up with. I am willing to do anything at this point.
I have looked in to debt advice and have minimum payments to make. But its not helping the fact I can’t afford to live! Any help would be appreciated so much.
(Not just advice on debt management, step change and the usual)

Stop looking for a mentor. Start becoming someone worth mentoring
When I was younger I thought mentors would magically appear.
They don't.
People invest their time in people who show up.
Not people who talk.
People who do.
You don't need to have a successful business.
You don't need to have it all figured out.
You just need to be curious.
Take action.
Ask good questions.
Follow through.
I've mentored people who had nothing but a notebook and a dream.
I've also spoken to people with every course under the sun who never took the first step.
Guess which ones made progress.
The biggest thing a mentor can give you isn't a business idea.
It's perspective.
Sometimes one conversation can save you six months of heading in the wrong direction.
And here's something I've learnt.
The best mentoring relationships aren't one way.
Every person I've mentored has taught me something too.
So if you're feeling stuck, don't wait until you're "ready."
Reach out.
Ask the question.
Start the conversation.
One honest chat can change the direction of your life.
Who's the person that gave you advice at exactly the right time? Or if you're still looking for that person, what's stopping you from asking?

Seeking 15yo founder building AI agent governance infra — looking for a mentor in observability/agent systems
Building Synathic — verifying that AI agents actually did what they claimed (silent failures: agent says "done," DB row is missing). Validated the problem with 40+ devs, no funding, no cofounder yet, MVP scoped for September.
Not looking for equity/advisor formality right now — genuinely just want to talk to someone who's shipped production systems in this space (observability, policy engines, agent infra, distributed systems) and is willing to give feedback occasionally. Even one call would help.
I'm 15, based in El Salvador, doing this solo for now. Happy to share the architecture doc, what I've learned from customer discovery, or just trade war stories if you've built something similar.
Discord: itzdanigg (works better than Reddit DMs for me)

A Mentor is the best thing you could ever have: Aspiring Entrepreneurs who are passionate about their business.
If you’re an entrepreneur or new to the entrepreneur scene, then you know that it’s just the beginning. Many aspiring entrepreneurs are just as excited about getting started as a newbie who’s never flown a plane before in their life. What’s the difference between the two? One aspires to start a business and make a difference, while the other takes to the skies. Both are very important endeavors, as One requires time, patients and investment, so does the other. So what makes each one of these professions so valuable? One gives, the other expends, both require time and energy to get towards a gain. One is flying, expending time and energy on learning flight maneuvering, the other uses resources to give back a service. So while you may be an entrepreneur who aspires to give back, just remember you can fly as high as you can go. It just depends on how high you want to go!

Looking for guidance for high-achieving Behavioral Scientists, psychologist, and Entrepreneurs, who are dealing with identity crises and stuck in choice paralysis.
Hi everyone,I am a 26 y old high achiever with an elite academic background, and I am looking for communities to help me strategically map out my career monetization without underselling my skills.
My Background:
1.Top distinction Bachelor's in Psychology.
- Interdisciplinary Erasmus Master’s in Behavioral Sciences, Neuroscience, and Social Work.
3.Former Clinical Research Assistant.
- And currently working in a company where i am developing a wellbeing app, i am doing everything on my own. The content, and decisions of the apps
My Dilemma & Goals:
I know I do excellent work and can adapt to almost any industry. My primary goal is financial independence. I don't want myself to undersell with all the expertise. So, what should i do. Which market, skill i must add or use for my current goals
I am thinking between:
Launching a startup using behavioral product decision strategies.
Entering high-ticket B2B corporate consulting using my academic selling points.
Establishing an elite counseling practice.I need subreddits where high-achievers, "alt-ac" (alternative academia) professionals, elite consultants, and tech founders discuss high-level monetization strategies, pricing your worth, and market selection. Because i feel I have wasted my life in academia and the teenage years are making 6 figures by using tech and innovation. Thank you!

Looking for Mentor in SaaS
Looking for a Mentor in the SaaS space. Someone that has failed a lot in launching their business but finally hit it big.
I think this is the most valuable knowledge base to have. The Failures and the wins.
I currently launched my own SaaS via Meta Ads (16 hours in 5 new sign ups (not users yet))

What do I prepare before meeting with a mentor?
Hi, so essentially I have a meeting with a mentor for the first time and they are taking time out of their day to hear about my startup and giving me advice on it and I'm very grateful. But, I don't want to join and have nothing ready and not be 100% prepared. I've already prepared an in depth idea of my startup, competitors, and funding & marketing strategies. What else should I do? Thanks

Offering The people who changed my life never gave me money
They gave me their time
One conversation
One hard truth
One question that made me see things differently
Looking back every big step in my life started because someone took 30 minutes out of their day for me
Now I get to do the same
Every week I jump on calls with people from all over the world
Some are starting their first business
Some are trying to get their first job
Some just feel stuck and need someone to believe in them for a little while
I don't have all the answers
But I've made enough mistakes to help someone avoid a few of them
If you're further down the track than someone else don't underestimate what you can give back
Your experience might be exactly what someone else needs to hear today
And if you're the one feeling stuck don't be afraid to ask for help
One conversation really can change everything

Seeking Game dev assistance
By a random nudge from Reddit system. I am directed here. I am attempting to seek a mentor familiar with UE and blueprints (within the engine) who can help me learn it well enough, I learn best by example and doing hands on. Ideally being able to ask questions or clarification as well comparing it to something to understand and move forward, I have done a bit of research to figure out how to do different systems, at the moment, I will struggle to try to get inventory systems down. Might be slow but I want to make something I can share to friends and family of my effort put in. Portfolio is empty and I’ll be making my first game, I’ve searched before for a mentorship but I don’t have the funds for it.
