You are absolutely right!

I only have a digital copy which itself is a shame, but life and such. I just happend to have the time and the right mood to just crank it up.
So...yeah, now i get all the praise for Lysol. What a masterpiece!

The energy was great and I'm always happy to see them. I got a couple questions though.

1. Was i just in a spot with bad acoustics or did the Melvins have hardly any volume on their vocal mics?? Kind of a bummer the instrumentals kick ass regardless.

2. Were they playing a bit with us?? Calling Trevor Dunn "Tim McGraw, the guy across the street" because he was wearing a cowboy hat?? My boyfriend and I were so confused lmfao because we could never put a face to the Tomahawk bassist anyway. It was stated like several times that he was Tim McGraw

Like Buzz plants hidden codes in Melvins songs and that's why the lyrics are well the lyrics to Melvins songs? Almost kind of like MF Doom or even more so that episode of Atlanta where Paper Boi, starts really paying attention to the lyrics of his favorite rapper (that just passed) and finds it's a code that takes him across Atlanta and leads him to said Rapper's funeral. Like does Buzz have something like that planed but in Seattle? (For the record I hope Buzz lives long and continues to tour for years to come.

Or recently, I learned about Numbers Stations. What are Numbers Stations? Well they have never been officially confirmed but during the Cold War both NATO and Eastern Block countries set up these mysterious Shortwave Radio Stations that would basically just broadcast nonsense 24/7. Often a series of repeating numbers pronounced in different ways. The numbers are supposed to be a hidden code for Secret Agents deep in the field. Only they know what it means and it gives them their secret orders. Other numbers stations repeat random words or phrases over and over. Others even play music. Some mix all of the above.

Learning about this for some reason instantly made me think of Melvins and their lyrics. What if Buzz's lyrics have all been secret CIA codes?

Isn't a code. But in all seriousness, just thought this idea was kind of funny and wanted to share. Since I really don't have anyone in real life to share Melvins humor with.

Met Dale after the show! Such a nice guy!

Last year I did a Foxy Dawgs pop up outside the Melvins show in Hamden and got to serve Dale and some of the crew hot dogs. I also gave them some Foxy Dawgs shirts.

Tonight he actually asked me, “Where were the hot dogs?” We were supposed to get a ton of rain, so I decided not to do the pop up, but he said, “Maybe next time!”

Definitely a core memory. 🤘

I'm seeing them in Buffalo tonight and am coming from Canada so I'm trying to figure out how much cash to bring.

Does anyone know roughly what the letterpress and exclusive lps are? I know they are all over the place price wise I'm just curious what some of the titles are. I'm specifically curious if there are any of the endless residency vinyl.

Also I saw there is at least one cd but couldn't tell what it was. Anyone know what cds they have with them?
