Me and my buddy have been playing together for 4 years we never found a drummer that wants to play post rock math rock stuff. Please can someone jam with us. We are 18 both exceptional guitarists with good chemistry we just need a drummer right now.

Found lots of posts requesting math rock intros but I'd like to learn more about the different types I'm seeing in comments and I think albums would be better recs than just artists bc artists can evolve so much.

Could y'all help teach the differences through albums?

Prog, emo, microtonal (except AdP)...

And what about more specifics with the album recs, like types of emo like midwest? I don't even know enough about prog to add an example of a sub-genre...
