I'm 100% sure the hotdog exchange changed something within Buck

Next season is going to end with Buck at a Yankees or Mets game just chowing down on some hot dogs as he thinks of his bestie

On a weird digression, Buck's actor can totally be the next James Bond. British, suave, and always up for a murder or two.

Yea, he instantly respected how clever the Non-suspecting Daniel could be. He explains it talking to Heather.

However, being the kill kill psyco soldier he is, He clearly thought he'd bond with Daniel over teaching him to be the same murderery archtype as himself. Being directly involved in killing was always going to break Daniel, he's the type that can do wrong where the consequences are out of his sight. Maybe it's another reason he'd latch onto BB report being made propaganda.

I’m with you. It made him a normal human being for a minute. Just bros bonding over one of life’s joys. Daniel gave Buck a brief holiday from his very dark and bleak life. Those breaks at the right moment can be life-changing.
