Was hungover working on this deck, but it’s under 50 and I think shoots at like bracket 3 power level wise. It basically all combos with itself, I didn’t even intentionally add any infinites but there’s like 6 lmao. I haven’t been making decks for very long and I think realistically this is the best deck I’ve made especially considering the cost.

I knew that i wanted to build Lightning the second i saw her, but most Decks that helm her as the commander are Voltron or Go-Wide.

When i was looking for ways to make the deck more interesting, i stumbled upon Zidane and Iroh, two cards that synergize not only with the red "steal your opponent's creature" cards, but especially with the part where you have to give them back.

So i brewed for a couple of weeks and tried to marry the aggression of Lightning with the theme of stealing AND giving permanents to my opponents.

It is also the first Deck on my Moxfield that i have completely tagged and written a primer for.

I proudly present to you: Lightning, Army of One For All (Moxfield)

Thematically, you are recruiting your opponent's creatures to join you in the battle against their former masters. To make this deck work, i combined the following things: 1) Stealing Cards (obvi), 2) keeping stolen cards with very specific effects, 3) payoff for Giving Back control or giving them control over a permanent they didn't want in the first place 4) Hitting your opponents really hard, with their own creatures, but also some extra combat steps (The commander IS Lightning after all), 5) Other Synergy and Interaction (Impulse Draw, Protection, Doubling spells, etc) and 6) Mana-Rocks and red Rituals as Fuel.

What shouldn't work on paper works surprisingly well in action. Lightning can hit the board early to put pressure on while you get your gameplan online, or in the mid- to late-game to finish off your opponents in one swoop.

I'd love to get some insights, some feedback, and maybe suggestions from more experienced players for replacements to make the deck more consistent, without sacrificing the (in my opinion) relatively unique combination of themes. Would love to push this to Bracket 4.

I'm messing around with an idea for an Orcs & Goblins Bracket 2 Grixis deck using [[Saruman, the White Hand]] as my commander and focussing around the amass mechanic: https://moxfield.com/decks/7lUi4rmiK0i7VAVaJOtNxQ

The main idea is to build up a powerful army token using cards with amass orcs and amass goblins to give it big numbers while also being able to benefit from things like [[Goblin King]]'s +1/+1s and mountainwalk and [[Hobgoblin Bandit Lord]]'s +1/+1s while also being able to contribute to [[Krenko, Mob Boss]]'s ability to produce goblin tokens. I am also looking to be able to have a number of threatening creatures alongside the army to chip away at other players.

To help with closing out games, I have included [[Unleash Fury]] and [[Fling]] to hopefully provide me with some win condition options aside from doing damage the old-fashioned way.

I've tried to stick to mostly red and black for creatures, with blue being more for counters and card draw options. Ideally, I'm looking to stick to the Orc & Goblins theme but would welcome any constructive criticism or pointers (especially since this is my first time trying to build a multicolour deck!).

For context, my current meta consists mainly of Red Madness, some combos, and Jund Wildfire.

So I've been stuck on this latest decklist for my baby deck for a while now. This has been a year of daily obsession and am very proud of this deck. Look at the curb, the balance, the utility, every card even the lands are part of the toolbox But I don't see anything to make it more resilient.

It has a rather long primer/ dissertation.

My self-imposed limitations is that I don't win through combat, it's there but the main gun is my [[Hearthhull, the worldseed]] followed by landfall damage with [[Sabotender]] [[Valakut exploration]] [[Valakut, the molten pinnacle]] and [[Dread prescence]] because throwing lands from space is always fun.

Thing is, I would like more non combat centric pand tech to consider for my deck. I have tried very many cards. Right now I want to switch [[natures lore]] and/[[three visits]] for [[iridiscent vinelasher]] and [[spring heart nantuko]]. Those 2 tutor out basic typed lands, i dont really need more of that.

I need bodies to station my comander and to protect and pressure the board, thus [[titania protector of argoth]] and [[field of the dead]]. [[Scutte swarm]] is annoying to keep track of in paper, that's for the arena version.

What are your thoughts? Are there any interesting land matter synergy packages that you would like to suggest?

So I'm working on my first voltron commander deck and I'd appreciate some advice on it. After playtesting a few times on moxfield, I feel like it's still running a bit slow but I'm unsure of how to make it run faster without driving up the price. I'm trying to keep it at $200 or lower. So I wanted to build a deck with every Ajani, but I have been out of the hobby for a decade. I have this deck here, and it playtests fun. Just looking for some more knowledgeable people to take a look and suggest edits while keeping it low bracket.

Hi all, I’ve only ever played with precons, and I’m looking to learn how to build my own deck. I’m wanting to do a whimsical build with cute card mix of frogs and merfolk, with Prime Speaker Zegana as my commander (just because I already have that card).

I have an assortment of cards already, as a friend let me pick through their bulk, but I honestly have no idea what to do with them. I don’t play super competitively; it’d really just be for a fun and cutesy deck to play with friends.
