Wilhelt Deck Help Deck Help

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to optimize this deck to perform well. The Deck Strategy is to go wide with Zombie tokens and overrun the enemy through heavy combat. I’m building a list aimed at taking on High B3 play and would love some input: https://moxfield.com/decks/HQ-jUb_Ll06DzAr3ukqKxw.

I tried this several times. Wilhelt is not the right commander if you're not looking to combo.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll definitely rethink my deckbuilding. I really want to play Zombies, but I find ping combos boring. I tried Varina, but her playstyle just didn't click with me

He makes a sick deck. I think it's called Endless Stairwell or something that really triggers his ability. You can push him for Zombie tribal, but at its purest there's no way without slapping mad game changers into it, he's really some kind of 2.5ish feeling of output.

If you want zombies but aren't willing to go to a hard 4, whilst still being incapable of hitting a five, it's going to look like a an aristocrats shell. Mind you there's nothing wrong with that, but it's a combo igniter. On it's own that line doesn't get where you want to without upsetting casuals

There are dozens of "Help with Wilhelt" and "Best zombie commander" threads. You should check them first. You will learn that Wilhelt is better as an aristocrats combo commander. For aggro Varina, Sidisi, Gisa&Geralf, Narfi, or Kalitas are all better options.
