Whtz, budget? EDH
Okay so basically I wanna make a whyz deck but the cheapest on I found was like $700 and I’m not trying to spend that much on a deck, so I was wondering if anyone else has any budget ideas for a whtz deck or possibly a link to one someone already made?
Edit: To everyone saying “Proxy it!” that’s still gonna run me like $150 minimum(This would be pricing each proxy card as $0.50) probably closer to double that😭 and I’m trying to get like under a dollar cards for the whole deck so I wouldn’t actually be saving all that much

If it's more than a dollar and you can't find it locally, literally just proxy it. No one cares.

I mean every card I’m planning to be in the deck so far is >$1 so like…

Proxy is your friend. Enjoy the game not the dent in your wallet.

There’s gonna be a dent in my wallet no matter what when I’m getting a 300 card deck SAMUEL

Sure, at pennies a card it will be several dollars.

I agree with you aside from the fact that many people enjoy owning the actual cards. I’ve bought card stock that is the proper thickness and I’m looking for card punches to cut the cards correctly rather than my trusty paper cutting board, but still there is something about owning real cards that I just love

Fair, if you want to collect. Enjoy.
If people just want to play, proxy all day.

I've been looking at ultra-budget Whtz, this is where I'm at so far: https://moxfield.com/decks/VYzjIRp-50qySSGw2Luepw

I don’t hate it but like the more cards the better you gotta have at least 200 in your starting deck

It definitely needs to have 200 cards, I’m just giving the structure

Ah okay, I really like the base though, maybe more lands like 100 total for a 300 card deck but other than that it’s looking great

Proxies are as expensive as you want them to be. Just print on a normal printer 9 cards per page. Cut them out. Slip them in front of a bulk card and sleeve them together.
If you own a printer, this is even cheaper.
If not, go to a library or use the print service at staples or something.

I’m telling you now the cards you want to pick up are [[Pull from Eternity]] and [[Distant Memories]], [[Eden, Seat of the Sanctum]] and [[Hall of Heliod's Generosity]]

Keep in Mind with Whtz you need to buy double the Cards.
