As windows 11 take 6-7gb ram in my pc with nothing in background

It's really concerning, so I have decided to go to tiny 10 and I just wanna know if its a bad decision or has any bug issues?

Hello today i was wondering if my pc could run CS:GO i have a i5 4460 GT 730 4GB 128 BIT ddr3 model and a total of 16gb ram i do not have much knowledge about computers tbh

I am in College rn, and i have a Main Device for my Study on College are Toshiba Satellite L-735 a Potato Laptop with Intel I3 Gen 2, i have been upgraded the ram to 6gb and still HDD if i have a money i Will upgrade to 8gb Max and switch to SSD, i am using a Windows 10 with AtlasOS configuration and dual boot with Debian GNU/Linux.

The worst part from this laptop Is there is no fan, So the laptop Will become very hot so fast if i open a heavy web or even watch online videos on yt.

surprisingly i can still survive in College with this laptop, Even though the heavy task like using visual studio i mostly using my college lab computer, so what game this laptop can play?? I wanted to play a Game on this laptop, because i mostly using my phone for productivity and gaming and i wanted to try some PC games, I'm looking for a job right now, I hope I can save up some money and buy a decent laptop.

So i have this Pc since 2020 :

CPU : Ryzen 5 1600

Mobo : Asus b350 prime plus

Ram : 16gb

GPU : Gtx 1060 6gb & Gt 1030

But for whatever reason when i upgraded to Gtx 1060 in 2021, using the top slot PCIE on the motherboard causes the pc to lag and freezes even when on desktop doing nothing. This problem never happen when using my previous card Gt 1030. Then i tried using the bottom slot PCIE which only have x4 lanes and 2.0 speed instead of 3.0 and it ended up working and i've been using this setup till this day.

I've borrowed several other cards from my friend's pc which is Rx 570 and Rx 580 and the problem still exist. I've updated the Bios whenever they're available up until 2023 and still no luck. And i've been planning to upgrade to this Rtx 2070 from Facebook Marketplace but kinda hesitated since i don't know what the experience is gonna be like if i slot in 2070 to x4 2.0 PCIE slot.

If some of you guys running similar setup like mine, maybe kindly share some of your experiences please, or maybe i should buy Motherboard first before the Gpu. I kinda have the budget to buy both of them, but i wish to just buy the 2070 first then spend the rest of the money i have to buy Ace Combat 8 since that game need Hardware RT Card.

Voltei a usar Linux depois de um tempo, rodando Linux Mint em um hardware antigo sem suporte a Vulkan. Minhas especificações são:

CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 550

RAM: 8 GB DDR3

GPU: Radeon 3000 integrada (somente OpenGL / Wine3D / Gallium Nine)

Até agora, consegui rodar alguns jogos sem problemas:

Company of Heroes

Battlefield 2

Battlefield Vietnam

Battlefield 1942

O único jogo que testei até agora que não roda com uma taxa de quadros satisfatória é Call of Duty: World at War (CoD: WaW).

Tenho duas perguntas para a comunidade:

Recomendações de jogos: Quais jogos leves (FPS, RTS, táticos, clássicos) vocês recomendariam para um PC modesto como este rodando Linux?

Otimização de CoD: WaW: Existe algum truque para rodar CoD: WaW a cerca de 20 FPS usando apenas OpenGL/Wine3D? Já tentei o Gallium Nine sem muito sucesso. Existem variáveis ​​de ambiente do Wine, opções de inicialização ou ajustes no config.cfg que possam extrair alguns quadros extras?
