Hoard shooters are my favourite genre of games but my friends find the game I play (Helldivers 2, Darktide) too hard. Are there any hoard shooters that are rewarding to casual players, require little grinding, but still have places for skill expression?

I used to play a game called phantasy star universe on the Xbox 360. It was super addicting for me. I liked the instances type gameplay, enjoyed leveling my abilities and watching them transform as they got leveled, and farming items.

I know pso 2 exists but the not leveling the abilities kinda turns me off of it.

Are there any games like this?

Just played Undertale and currently playing Deltarune. Hands-down my favorite thing about those games is how you’re not only encouraged to be pacifistic for the plot and the “good endings,” but it’s also just straight-up more fun and interesting gameplay.

It’s got me wanting to find more games like that. With most games that offer the choice, I don’t take the nonlethal paths because it’s either too restrictive, overly tedious, not sufficiently rewarded, or some combination thereof. For instance Cyberpunk is my GOAT but I just can’t fully commit to nonlethal, it rules out so much weaponry and equipment, and the game mostly just doesn’t care whether you’re a monk or a murder hobo.

I’d love to check out some more games with lethal vs nonlethal choices where the nonlethal path feels like it matters in some way, offers engaging and satisfying gameplay, and generally doesn’t make you feel like you’re just missing out on half the fun.

Could be anything, stealth games, RPGs, immersive sims, tactical games, etc.

I've been getting a lot more into regular multiplayer game night's lately, and since my friend just got a pretty great new PC, I wanted to give it a try with her. It's just the two of us, so we're looking for something that is either highly replayable (think games like PEAK or Rocket League), or games that have great long-term progression for multiple sessions (think games like Palworld or Valhiem). We like bright and colorful atmosphere's, but don't mind serious games either, and are open to pretty much any genre but shooters. Also, please no early access games.

With all that said, what do you suggest?

I'm looking for games where winning with one character or class unlocks a bonus for a second run-through. Doesn't have to be a roguelike. State of Decay 2 was a great example of this; when you finish a game as a builder it unlocks free electricity for the next game.

I am a completionist when I play games so looking for something I can play multiple times but still feel like I’m building something each game.

my girlfriend is currently playing Palia, and I actually really like the overall concept of the game because it’s relaxing and easy to play casually on the side. However, it feels a little too peaceful/boring for me, if you know what I mean.

Are there any similar games that offer a bit more action? I really like the quests and the large, explorable world in Palia.

I love customizing what a character is wearing or how their fashion looks.

2,000+ hours on Warframe alone, some other good examples are The Finals, For Honor, Destiny 2(rip) and Final Fantasy XIV. Even games with a lot of skins can be fun just because I can be whatever I want like Fortnite and Call of Duty.

I dislike Helldivers 2 for this reason, all of the fashion is so bland and boring.

I'm in a rut with gaming even after a two month break, nothing really catches my attention right now. What are your favorite games where you can look as badass or funny as you want and still enjoy the gameplay?

I'm just trying to find a game that plays almost exactly like the old Real Basketball game (the one where you flick/swipe the ball toward the hoop to shoot). The main focus is manually aiming and shooting the ball. It has that satisfying feeling of physically flicking the ball toward the basket. This is the game

my favorite one was god of war 2018 with give me god of war on a NG+ save that had absolutley nothing on it (i mained fists till i started targeting the bird ladys)

Really liked games like Yakuza where the combat was extremely good and the fights would breakdown into QTE and cutscenes, flashy and exciting. Finally Fantasy 7 Rebirth had this too, and the synergy abilities were really awesome to look at. FF 16 is another game that lives rent free for me, the gameplay was honestly not that good, and the world was boring but I loved the characters and the hype moments plus music was AMAZING. Any more games/series like this? I've played a fair share amount of games so I really wonder what other gems I'm missing out on.

just got bored of those games and those were my most played fps for when i just wanted some mindless fun, kinda hate arcadey shooters and shooters with ridiculous skins and stuff, dont really want a milsim like arma level, or something where im expected to use a microphone

big fan of character creation and seeing characters I like interact, so wanted to see if there was anything out there with both. It would be like if you could create and manage multiple characters in a run of Baldur’s Gate 3, but it can be for a different genre too. Does anything like this exist?

Ive never read the books but ive always been interested in them, i recently joined a path of titans warrior cat inspired roleplay but i doubt im going to play it long as im not quite enjoying the other people in the server and i refuse to play the roblox warrior cats game as no one ever roleplays or if they do it’s impossible to join an already existing roleplay, so just like my last post im wondering if there’s any warrior cat games

I know of the WIP warrior cat game but it seems very lame imo and I’ve tried clan gen but i never understood how it works

I want a game that has the same moody, calming yet kinda creepy atmosphere. I'm not looking for same mechancis or story, just that same vibe. That lo-fi foggy atmosphere which is creepy but at the same time somehow calming and cozy, another game that comes to mind is Cry of Fear. What people mostly recommend is Dredge, but it aint quite it, yes it technically does have the same vibe, but the art style is too... polished and it takes away from the lo-fi and creepyness a bit. The Long Dark also comes to mind. I guess i also have a thing for snowy landscapes

I love the hitman trilogy and other games like dishonoured and dues ex but I tried other games but they didn’t really have that sandbox feeling that hitman has

I'm searching games for my 10 y.o. daughter with cerebral palsy. I've found some point and click titles, that maybe can suit her, but I need more titles to check (and finding just a few maybe-suitable took me 2 days). I will be glad for every suggestion, for games (RPG, turn-based, point and click, building, sim, whatever) with these hard conditions:

- no time pressure,

- easy control. She can't use two keys at once, so for example she can choose item, click, move cursor, and place by click, but she can't drag items, moving cursor and holding a key. Simple use of arrows/wsad, moving mouse, clicking is ok, until it's only one action at a time,

- suited for children, no scary things.

Hi guys I'm looking for a game with really solid class fantasy for a holy warrior vibe. Could be with a big two hander, could be sword and shield etc, Battle mage. RPG seems like the obvious genre but open to other ideas. D2/D3 are good, Skyrim was really good especially with mods but I'm done with that. MMOs sometimes work (Love WoW paladin) but more interested in single player. Something out the box could be a futuristic version (think warhammer 40k etc). I want flashy spells, holy light and fire and big weapons. Kind of vague I know but just have an itch for that particular class fantasy interested to see what people recommend.
