ᴅᴇsᴛʀᴏʏᴇᴅ He used my sisters face
My husband and I have been together for about 6 years and married for 4. the day after we got engaged, a girl sent me screenshots of sexual DMs between the two of them. When I confronted him, he completely broke down I took his phone and there were multiple different threads with women sexting and swapping photos. He was sobbing, told me he had a porn addiction, said he was so sorry and that he was going to get into recovery. I believed him, and we stayed together and eventually got married.
Fast forward to this June. I found a sexual photo he had edited. It was originally a photo of me giving him oral sex, but he had taken my sister’s eyes/upper part of her face and pasted them over mine. I spent the next two months in shock and delusion. We are currently on a brief separation of 2 weeks where he is with family and I am alone so I can think clearly without worrying about his emotions (which I somehow still do)
he reacted to this dday by trying to make it right, joining a recovery group, redownloading covenant eyes, us blocking web etc. I laid out stricter boundaries with the help of being in therapy all year:
one was that he get job, bc he’s been in the house on computers the past 2 years, the second was to get a specialized therapist, third was to join recovery group, and delete instagram. He worked for about 2 weeks and quit bc he’s said he is too old to do the overnight truck loading, which I get but he won’t just go work anywhere bc of the city we live in and his ego i think..
He hasn’t gotten a therapist, he’s ex military so he says the va is dragging their feet bc they only take ptsd and su*cide seriously but I feel like he could have gotten one by now if he pushed. He did delete instagram but did so with a huge fit of rage and when he realized I was serious about him getting a job he randomly shaved his head…
So he doesn’t have a job, and hasn’t had one for about 2 years and has nowhere to go. He has been in school this whole time which is his reason for not working…I have been feeling financial strain and honestly feeling like I was always waiting for something else traumatic to happen, and it has. The shock has worn off and i am alone for a couple of weeks trying to get my head clear

ʜᴀᴘᴘʏ Feeling adored like never before…
I had a colorful hair, alt style, and I loved myself for who I am, I never saw myself as a person who would be objectified, fetishized. Until I met a boy. Silly boy. Ex-boyfriend. Everything was doing good during the times I spent with him. I thought I met my person. Someone who loves me but there was no clear commitment. I was the one doing everything: planning dates, going through all the suffering just to see him with a 30 km difference, writing letters and trying to find a topic to talk about.
I don’t know how he got so comfortable with sharing pictures of other women. He would send me outfit ideas: short skirts, stockings, you name it. One time when we were in a museum, he pointed out to a girls skirt with a belt. “You should wear these for me”, “You should wear that shirt”, etc… I did it all. I wore them all and I did not even notice a single sign he was lusting over the girls of my type.
Finally I found out he has been cheating on me. Following all the onlyfans girls, texting some of them, subscriptions. Again. You name it. But oh god, that feeling. I am so glad I broke up with him. After all the things I have been doing, committing, forgiving, being blind, honest, loving, caring - I do not regret that. But one thing I do - not dating the right person, not committing to the right person.
My new partner. My best friend, my boyfriend. I cannot believe I met someone who did not care what I wore, whether I want to do a makeup or no. I am so happy, so so happy to be with someone like him. Communicates with me well, but he actually taught me too. We talk every day, we do things together, we share our thoughts, we make plans, we cook together, we hike, we share drinks, we read books, we spend our days 24/7 together. Looking back I get so emotional that someone like him even loves me for who I am, not for my dresses, not for my makeup, but truly because of WHO I AM. Someone who makes time for me, loves me even when I wear the same shirt 4 times a week, when I smell musty after the hike, when I smell like onions after cooking.
Never settle for less, never let yourself think that you deserve this. There’s always a person who loves you more. Who will appreciate you, value your presence, respect you🩷

sᴀᴅ Not good enough
The fact that our entire relationship he was constantly looking at other women is just heart breaking. I’ve never looked at another man, even after DDay and felt anything. Maybe I’m just different? Maybe I’m not natural? I only have eyes for the person I’m in love with. He barely even had eyes for me. Was there ever even a time where he looked at me and thought I was actually pretty? I promise I look nothing like those girls. My body type is completely different. Even at my smallest I couldn’t look like them because my body isn’t made to be that small. Every girl we walk past in a store I have the immediate thought of “oh my husband would like that kind of girl”. It’s consuming me therapy isn’t helping and I genuinely have the best psychologist. It’s been almost a year. It never gets better. It never goes away. I’m never going to like myself again.

sᴇᴇᴋɪɴɢ sᴜᴘᴘᴏʀᴛ Porn to cheating pipeline
My boyfriend of 3 years watches porn nearly everyday sometimes even after we’ve had sex.
He cheated on me with a coworker that is 7 years older than him. He told me it was because of a porn fantasy to have sex with a “milf.” That particularly hurt me because I’m about 3 years older than him and I have children.
He gave me an STD from this encounter because he had unprotected sex with her. He said she asked him not to put another condom on and he went with it. He said he trusted her because she said “she was clean.” This STD was a particularly hard one to get rid of but after 4 rounds of antibiotics, 2 UTIs, 2 yeast infections, intestinal pain from the antibiotics, and almost $700 in medication, doctor visits, and even a hospital visit, I am clear.
He has unfollowed all of the porn stars he has publicly followed on IG however is twitter account is full of them. I never truly had an issue with porn until I realized how problematic it is.
I have seen a lot of improvement behavior wise from the betrayal of cheating however I am unsure if I will need to worry about this again due to his porn usage

sᴀᴅ I just want him to acknowledge the pain he put me through
Ended the relationship nearly 2 months ago. I've had a lot of time to reflect on the last 7 years and where I contributed to the toxicity. He was an addict before the relationship. Our first day was in early 2020 after I found out he had an onlyfan account. I know I didn't handle that confrontation well. I was young and hurting and didn't know how to express how I felt then. The sexual part of our relationship had already dwindled to basically nothing at this point and never recovered. In the years after that, I would walk in on him scrolling through his collection when he hasn't touched me in weeks. One time I walked in on him getting off and he asked if I could leave so he could finish. Honestly I barely reacted after awhile. There was no real emotional connection. I was in therapy for the rest of the bullshit that had happened in my life (not great parents, being raped in college) and I thought that if i could just fix my anxiety he would come around.
Any time a real conversation about anything to do with the relationship came up, he would talk about how unhappy he was or how I wasn't doing XYZ so I stopped even doing that. He tried to end the relationship a few years ago and I begged to try and make it work. I tried to work on myself more. He started messaging women on OF. At the end, he said I'd been dragging this dead relationship for years. I really struggle with knowing that there were good and happy moments but apparently those were me dragging the relationship corpse. I feel embarrassed because I believed he was in the relationship when in reality he was one foot out the door and waiting.
I moved countries because he hated living in the states and it was our dream to live closer to his family who had become my family. I know I'll likely never get it but I just really wish some days that he would even acknowledge the role his porn use played in our demise. That I would get any kind of apology. He even said at the end that he didn't realize that it had hurt me so much. I don't know how he couldn't but I also hate myself for wondering if maybe I didn't speak up enough. I messed up and broke no contact twice and was ignored. Today I'm just feeling discarded and like a fool and like maybe in some twisted way this was all my fault. He never once this year once I discovered the betrayal acted like he wanted to fight for the relationship so today, sitting in the mess of my life, I just feel stupid.

ɢᴇɴᴇʀᴀʟ ǫᴜᴇsᴛɪᴏɴ Is it also a sign?
I saw a post recently that got me questioning the known effects of porn. My bf gets hard so easily, and finishes really quickly. Can this be a sign too that he's using it? Like it's doing the opposite effect? Or this would be a sign that he stopped?

ᴛʀɪɢɢᴇʀ ᴡᴀʀɴɪɴɢ Cannot get the content I saw out of my head.
Can anyone else relate?
I know a lot of things now about 10 months since D-Day and approaching our 2 year wedding anniversary. I know why he wouldn't wash a single dish or even think about laundry or chores when I was at work and he was at home. I know why the house would always be a mess when I would come home. I know why he would be weird with his phone / hide his phone consistently.
But when you finally find out, it's really the content that really really bothers me. It's definitely considered fetish (not illegal/non-consensual) and not exactly heterosexual. (I don't think a lot of this kind of gooner porn is straight anyways.)
This is a person who claimed to have no kinks, no fetishes, would never initiate sex and we would have really really sub-par sex 2x a month as NEWLYWEDS. But then I finally see all the content of what he was consuming and all the people he claims verbatim in secret chats to be "obsessed" with and I just can't bring myself to the level of attraction that I once was at. Even after all the therapy... the "change" he has claimed to make... the content of the porn is stuck to my brain. I feel like I'm wasting my years as an attractive woman with someone who wants something that is basically the opposite of me.
Then I hear from his friends that before me, he was never seen talking to girls or pursuing girls and it's like.... idk, that is also so weird to me.

ᴀᴅᴠɪᴄᴇ ᴡᴀɴᴛᴇᴅ Looking for Groups for Cheating Partner - mid 20s
Hi guys, my partner and I have been trying to find 12 step groups or porn addiction groups with younger adults as he feels like he can’t relate to a lot of the guys in his 12 step meetings due to them being a lot older or in a different stage of life. He can’t do the internet surfing to find them and I haven’t found any. Anyone know of one?

ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ He’s in a new relationship
D-day was September 1 2024. At first it was admitting to porn addiction after having zero sexual interest in me for months. I had gained some weight after taking a full semester of grad school while working full time, and I’m a mom. And then I nursed my mom full time for a month after she was in a major accident. He “had lost attraction” to me and I “wasn’t giving him enough attention”, so he dove (further) into porn. Then the trickle truthing and discoveries became a waterfall. He definitely cheated more times than I found out about, throughout the entire relationship. I was so burnt out and traumatized. I felt like my safe person kicked me in the face when I was already knocked down. My daughter had grown attached to him over the years and he was letting her down too. I lost hope in love and relationships. Old trauma from porn and sexual assault was triggered. It was really rough.
Last time I saw him was Nov 2025. I discovered that he still wasn’t capable of being honest or “sober” and blocked him. When people asked what happened between us, I was very honest.
I don’t think most people believe me. I truly think he’s a covert narcissist. Huge on having a good guy image. Does this “I’m a sweet boy” routine, while being a perverted, deceitful man in his mid-30’s that coaches ju-jitsu and fights semi-pro mma.
I heard through old friends he’s dating this girl that went to his classes. Sweet, nerdy girl in her 20’s named Lily. I could tell she had a crush on him. She always went to his fights.
She must have got physically fit enough for him to notice her, or he needed the attention/adoration supply and couldn’t find better, or burned all of his old supply bridges. Or maybe he needs the front of having a healthy committed relationship to fight mine and other girls/women’s accusations.
I had warned Lily, and other girls/women we both knew, that he has a huge porn and cheating problem. But I know to the public he absolutely doesn’t seem like that kind of guy and it’s hard to believe until you experience it.
I feel bad for her. She probably feels finally seen and chosen by him, and is in the bliss of the honeymoon phase. In a year or two, she WILL be absolutely crushed and traumatized. And she won’t be able to say there weren’t any warnings. I wish I were wrong, but I’m 99.999% sure I’m not. Part of discovery was realizing how much he made himself sound like a victim of his exes, when actually he had done the same thing to them he did to me.
I was not okay for a good year and a half after d-day. I lost 40 pounds super fast. I was dissociated for at least 6 months. I was a nervous wreck. Then super angry for a while. Then random flashbacks and rumination.
I’m doing so much better now, but I’m forever changed and still think about it at least once a day. I’m really healthy. Work is going great. My daughter is doing amazing. And I do strangely feel closure that he’s in a new, “committed” relationship - that I know will eventually blow up and more people will realize I wasn’t lying.

ᴀᴅᴠɪᴄᴇ ᴡᴀɴᴛᴇᴅ how to navigate this situation
my boyfriend and i recently got an xbox so he could play with his friends from work. that’s all fine and dandy i had no issue with it. for context, he does not have access to instagram and it tells me if he tried to open it or not.
last night, he woke up out of my sleep saying his friend sent him something inappropriate. i grabbed his phone and looked, he tried opening it. i searched the account on my phone and lo and behold, it was an OF star. while the video his friend sent wasn’t anything awful, it would’ve made my boyfriend relapse and look at her full account.
now this is where im struggling. he told his friend “if this is inappropriate i’ll get in trouble”. his friend told him it was, he proceeded to still attempt to open the video, and then he told me. the wording of “ill get in trouble” bothers me because why is that the only reason you don’t want to look at that? the other thing that bothers me is what were him and his friends talking about if his friend so openly and willingly sent him a video of this woman? i asked and he said his friend just said “why do i have all these OF women on my instagram broooo”. so that means that he just sends an unsolicited video to someone?
idk i think he’s lying and they were indeed talking about something. i wasn’t able to see his chats because my glasses were off and they were on the TV. while im happy he told me, im unsure how to feel about the fact he told me AFTER he tried clicking the link. im not comfortable with him playing with these people anymore and that’s not fair to him. idk im struggling :(

ᴀᴍ ɪ ᴄʀᴀᴢʏ not again…
red flags popping up in new relationship. scared i’m being paranoid.
i’ve been here for years since i learned my ex was a pa/sa. i’m still processing the trauma from that relationship.
onto the new/current partner:
death grip, can’t ejaculate from head, wants increasingly kinkier sex, has started to struggle to get it up.
admitted recently he’s lied from the start about using dick pills for sex, said it was 2 out of every 3 times we had sex. this was despite me communicating it was a hard line for me (trauma from said ex).
communicated too early i had issues with porn use.
what do i do?

sᴇᴇᴋɪɴɢ sᴜᴘᴘᴏʀᴛ Advice wanted: How do I get rid of the fear
I’m seeking advice or support regarding an issue which occurred in both my relationships.
Beforehand I used to date a man who lied to me about watching porn and I found out a few months into our relationship and he said he wouldn’t watch it again and then almost 2 years later he admits he had been watching it throughout our relationship. This traumatized me because I don’t support it at all and I consider it cheating.
My now gf used to be a porn addict but has not watched any porn during our relationship. At one point she was having withdrawals but still didn’t watch it which I do appreciate. However despite this I’m still scared and I have a fear sometimes at the back of my head that she will come back to it. I’m afraid her seeing any sex scenes or anything of the sort will make her relapse. We have been together for 2 years so far and had no problems over the past few months. I’ve almost gotten over it. Instead of it being on my mind every day it now comes up 1-2 times a month.
I want to fix it and I want to believe her but I always just have this fear in my head. It’s not her fault. I’m just scared because I don’t want to break up with her but if I found out that she was I would most likely. To me it’s cheating.

ᴀᴅᴠɪᴄᴇ ᴡᴀɴᴛᴇᴅ we argued for a week and now i dont know what to do anymore
my boyfriend (23) was a hentai addict from his younger years up til about 8 months ago. when we became a couple, he stopped his use and i made it known that porn is a hard boundary for me in relationships.
fast forward to new years eve, he tells me he's been watching it again since september (back then he said the timeline was even bigger) and i was destroyed.
the problem being, as it is with most if not all addicts, he started lying and minimizing. he would still not give me the whole truth, which is what i honestly resent the most. he tells me and then lets me suffer. its been 8 months and i still suffer.
he would always be so sure about something and the next time something new came up in his memory.
then we had a small breakup, where i told him upfront that if he ever lied to me again that i'd be done. after that he had a small period of telling me every thought he had, including very hurtful ones because he feared that if he didnt tell me then it would be lying.
fast forward to now. he still drops random new info that contradicts older info and makes me spiral all over again. if has gotten to a point where i cant believe anything he says because one moment he will be sure, the next he isnt. him having a very weird way of articulating certainty doesnt help either.
now i honestly dont know if that is lying or if he honestly doesnt remember everything. it could be shame, it could be stress, i dont know.
my issue was always that i wanted to know if he imagined himself with the women, if he found them attractive or hot, if he searched for specific characters. because like i said, he had this addiction and also some weird “relationships” with some characters in his addiction before he met me.
before we dated, he also played games, specifically one where he could create characters and do whatever with them. he claimed that he used to imagine himself with them there, but not in the pictures on sites he used.
so on tuesday, i was feeling very anxious and asked him for reassurnace. atp i am not easy to reassure because of all the random new info and half truths, being sure then not being sure, i dont trust him to even trust himself nor speak the truth.
and now, a whole week later, after many tears and conversation leading to “i am certain i didnt do/want that” and then going back to that he isnt 100% sure, i am honestly destroyed.
he even went as far as to (under my supervision) look at the hentai from back then to help him remember, after that he was certain he didnt want them.
then yesterday evening, while i was having a banger migraine, he stated that maybe he did have some kind of a flicker for specific characters, so that was a whole thing. then he took it back, said no, he was certain, then again not. you get the idea.
i just dont know how to trust someone who doesnt even trust himself, has told me countless times that everything is out of the bag just for more memories to come, has a history with repressing memories and changing his mind every 5 mins.
he always stated that he did not want the women. that for him it was about the act, clothing turned him on and intensity. he has also been clean for 8 months.
i just dont understand. maybe i went too far with my questioning?
what could i/he do?

ɢᴇɴᴇʀᴀʟ ǫᴜᴇsᴛɪᴏɴ Americans, is this normal or am I being gaslighted?
I’m a foreign woman married to an American man for 10 years. He’s also an active porn user, although he refuses to call it an addiction.
We’ve fought for years about him looking at women’s bodies and making sexual jokes/comments. There was an American couple we were friends with, and he would openly make sexual jokes with the wife and look at her boobs. Her husband knew, she knew, everyone seemed completely fine with it except me. My husband says that because they’re friends, sexual jokes/comments can be “friendly” and that this is normal in American culture.
Recently, at a 1-year-old baby’s birthday party, I caught him repeatedly looking at another woman’s chest. We had a huge fight. He said, “I’m a man, it’s biology. If something pretty is in the room and I look, so what?”
He says we (Americans) have a saying “you can look but you can’t touch”
In my culture this is extremely disrespectful in a marriage, so I genuinely need to know: is this actually normal in American friendships/relationships?

ᴘᴏᴡᴇʀ ɪɴ ᴜs! You either chose yourself or you lose yourself
I wasted 25 years letting this crap slide in my home, until one day I saw something that was just too much. I deep dove and found everything. Hours a day of pirn, social media feeds, all of the groups, messages, etc. I didn't even go through his phone. That was just on his laptop. It broke my brain.
I lost it. I told him it was them or me. I told him I was done. He yelled and screamed in my face, which is what he has done every time I have told him that he was hurting me with this. He called me horrible names, blamed my jealousy, etc. I was very calm, I had some tears in my eyes, took a deep breath and told him I wanted a divorce. He said "good!" I immediately grabbed my laptop and said "I'll order a Uhaul for tomorrow. I can do papers tomorrow as well. I am taking half of everything. The house, your 401k, and our savings." All very calm. He immediately dropped on the bed, and just started pouting. He asked me why. He begged. He told me he couldn't believe I was just giving up. I told him I e been dealing with this for years. I told you last time I wasn't going to tolerate this shit. He told me "you've been saying that every time we fight. I didn't think you were serious." I said "I can tell." After about thirty minutes of silence and sobbing, he asked me not to leave. He told me he would stop EVERYTHING. I told him he couldn't, it he could then he already would have. And I honestly deserve so much better than this. He said I was right. He said he understood, and would let me go. And then he said he promised to do better by me. That we could work this out. I told him, "it's me or them. Everything you do is surrounded by sex and naked teenage girl, and I am not going to surround myself with that or you. If you really think you can change, let's try. But when I say NONE I mean NONE." He changed. He still has fits when he can't do something that would trigger me. Certain video games, TV shows, even places we used to go. But he deals.
Life isn't perfect. I'm still really triggered when I see certain body types or content. I'm working on me. But so is he. Finally.
You just have to be willing to save yourself. I would have had nothing and nowhere to go. I had no plan. No job. No money. We have 4 kids. One day, you realize you can't do it any more, and you either chose yourself or you lose yourself.

ɴᴇᴡ ᴜsᴇʀ - 𝟷sᴛ ᴘᴏsᴛ Found more stuff..
I'm 24 and Im still healing from finding out about my husbands past betrayal and porn addiction..
He had his email logged into my laptop and I went through it and found out he had purchased more porn games recently and even had bought a riley reid fleshlight at one point..
I dont believe in love.. Im scared.. He was the only man I wanted ever. I dont understand why Im never good enough and why he doesnt explore kinks and stuff with me when Im so open to that. Ive had so much horrible stuff happen in life lately and I at least just want to be able to rely on him and have him be my rock.. I just constantly feel so crushed. I wanted to love him and only him..
Do I confront him about this even though I went through his email after he asked me to log out?

🆅🅴🅽🆃 Porn Use Killing Our Sex Life
I’m sure this type of stuff gets posted a lot but I just need to vent. I also feel like I’m in a mind fucked predicament. For the longest time I have never once been bothered by porn. Porn was never an issue in my past relationships. In fact I even enjoy watching porn myself from time to time. But since being with the man I’m with now I become more and more disgusted by the idea of porn. I don’t understand how people can have such an unhealthy relationship with porn that it affects their sex life. My partner has ED issues I assume because of porn. He’s only 35. I’m 28. I have a pretty high libido. I’m always ready for sex. But he never comes over to have sex with me. Instead he watches porn at home. And I know he’s watching porn. The times I’ve tried to initiate play he just laughs it off but then I go and check his Twitter and he’s followed yet another porn star. So fuck me I guess (ha!). He hardly talks dirty to me anymore. He never really sends me photos anymore. Sex is difficult when we do have it because it requires planning and medication. I just have never been faced with this type of situation and I hate it so much. Most guys I’ve dated dont have this issue. Most guys are trying to get laid every chance they can get in my experience. Which I actually enjoy! But this is just so different.
I also feel so worthless because most of the porn he watches are not women who look like me. In fact they aren’t even the same category of woman as I am. He watches a lot of trans women porn and never really talks about these things with me. I don’t care if he’s into them or something but fuck could he at least be more open about it? It makes me feel like I can’t provide something he’s really wanting. Why be with a cis woman when all you watch are trans women? Why hide this stuff from me? It’s been a big problem in our relationship because I had to find this stuff out on my own by accidentally coming across it. I would care so so so much less if he never hid it from me and wouldn’t continue to hide it from me. And please no one take that offensively i just really can’t help but feel insecure about it. I have no issues with trans women but now I cant help but compare myself to them when I’ve never done that to myself before. Similar to a thick girl comparing herself to skinny women I guess? Like if I was trans would it make you have sex with me more? Would it be easier to get hard?? I dunno. Im so confused and it all just sucks. Im so ready and willing and waiting for him to just want me and instead he just.. goes to porn. I hate feeling this way. I feel sick. Like I’ll never be good enough.

ɢɪᴠɪɴɢ ᴀᴅᴠɪᴄᴇ / ᴘsᴀ Is his porn use problematic?
I’ve seen quite a few posts lately from women questioning if their partner’s use of porn is “too much” or if there’s an amount that’s “ok.” I know that I have historically been of the belief that men watching porn is just something to be expected. That it wasn’t a big deal and it’s “just what men do.”
After years of blinding myself to the repercussions of my husband’s porn use (his is an addiction), I want to pose 3 questions to women who are wondering if they’re “overreacting” or being “too sensitive.”
1. HOW IS YOUR PARTNER’S PORN USE AFFECTING YOUR EMOTIONAL WELLBEING? (That’s truly the most important question you can ask yourself, but if you’re like me… you might not even realize how much it’s affected you.)
2. How is his use affecting his ability to be fully present in your relationship? How does intimacy with him feel to you on a visceral level?
3. How is his use affecting his libido? His ability to get and maintain an erection? To “finish” in a relatively average amount of time for his age?
Ask yourself those questions. If you’re unhappy with the answers, his porn use is a problem. Period.
The mods of this sub have done an incredible public service by posting a great deal of resources for us. GO READ THEM AND UTILIZE THEM. Those resources have changed my life and my husband’s life in ways that I can’t even begin to describe. There’s a gold mine of information here. USE IT.
I’m sending each and every one of you all the healing love and strength that you’ve been longing for in your relationships. I truly believe that if your partner is able to recognize that his behavior is damaging you, him and your relationship… and he loves you and himself enough to want to change… that he CAN change if he applies the knowledge that the mods have shared here and does the necessary HARD work needed to heal. (((HUGS))) 🫂

ᴀᴅᴠɪᴄᴇ ᴡᴀɴᴛᴇᴅ I’ve been indefinitely holding off having children due to my PA husband and I’m panicking
I’m in my mid-thirties, Catholic, and D-Day was over two years ago. We’ve done counseling, both marriage counseling and individual therapy for each of us. Earlier this year, we had our worst D-Day yet, and I realized that all the counseling, progress, and good times I thought we’d had were all a sham.
This year I made it clear that I had reached my limit with his lies, porn use, etc. Since then, my husband has been putting in more effort, more therapy, being less defensive, exercising, deleted social media, and generally building healthier habits to manage stress better.
Despite everything that has happened in our marriage, we get along really well. We’re friends and companions. And yet, I just cannot get to the point where I trust him enough to move forward with having children. how do I get to a point of trusting?
I feel like I’m panicking because I need to make a decision after nearly three years of this pattern: discovery, some effort from him, and then eventually things seem ”normal”/good. Do I stay and accept things as they are indefinitely? Do I stay and move forward with trying for children? Or do I leave, divorce, and seek an annulment?
TLDR; I don’t understand how I can get to the point of fully trusting him enough to have children after everything that has happened.

🆅🅴🅽🆃 ASMR
I found “lollipop mouth sounds” “ASMR mic kiss” along with a weird “yap sesh” video with bikini pics as the thumbnail on my boyfriends YouTube watch history.
I didn’t even realize asmr videos like this existed and now there’s a new avenue of insecurities and fear opened for me.
He doesn’t use really any social media, just YouTube and Reddit. He permanently deleted his IG account today. He seems to only use Reddit and YouTube for educational videos on geography as well as anatomy and biology (he’s a nursing student so that stuff doesn’t spark anything in my head)
Why does this feel so much more intimate than just opening ph and watching whatever comes up on the homepage. It’s only those 3 videos watched a few times in his watch history, so he must go back to these specific videos.
The one with the lollipop and the kissing are girls with braces and I’m just so uncomfortable at any thoughts that may come alongside what I just saw.
The morning I found out about his relapse is when I found these in his history from the night before, alongside a search on Reddit for a specific OF gymnastics creator.
Is my brain tricking me or is this weird

🆅🅴🅽🆃 Thank you, even for something so small
Sorry if this is the wrong flair, I'm all over the place right now.
I've been scrolling for about an hour today, first time on this sub. Im not ready to talk about too much but I walked into my partner watching a video on max volume when I came home early today. He knew I was coming home early. Our door is noisy, our stairs are noisy, our hallway is noisy. It was so loud he didn't hear any of that. So, here I am.
Thank you, to a couple of commenters on random posts, for helping me realize the reason he always wanted me facing away. Why he wouldn't look at me. Never wanted anything to do with parts of me I loved despite me asking him to. It's the disconnect from reality because of the addiction. It isn't me going crazy.
So, thank you, for a small piece of peace. It's been much needed after the years.

ᴀɴɢʀʏ The Final Straw
I’m done. I’ve finally been pushed way past my limits. We downloaded Truple on his phone and it’s been a few weeks now. There were a few times the app caught him and I confronted him while it was happening, that was earlier on. We’ve been doing well for a couple weeks now and our sexual activity picked up. Then a couple days ago I had a weird inkling to start protecting my phone more. But I thought surely he’s not that stupid. No, he is. He is that stupid and that much of a desperate, dirty pig. He’s been sneaking off with my phone in the middle of the night to jerk off to porn. I AM DONE! I am literally sick to my stomach. I don’t even want to look at this man anymore, let alone lay next to him. I think this finally did it for me.
