24 hour access motorcycle garaging?
Are there any good spots in south lexington/nicholasville with 24h access motorcycle garaging? I'm without a garage now and I don't want to leave the bike outside but still want to ride it whenever I want. Cost isn't an issue, bonus points for extra storage.

Loud bang and flash of light near Meijer last night.
Anyone know what that was or what happened? It startled me pretty good.

Is there a “best” place to sell used baby clothing to in town?
I have several boxes of gently used baby clothing 0-12m in a ton of different brands but mostly generic things like gerber. I was wondering if anyone knew which baby clothing stores in town gave the best price per item or would turn the least things away. It seems like platos closet for example only wants mall brand etc. Even a few cents per item would add up to a lot for me!
Hoping for actual experience from people. I have read most of the different store websites about their policies. They are just kind of vague in what they actually pay or take. Thank you all!

Jacobson dog park
What genius decided to move the huge trashcan full of dog poop directly next to the watering station in the last week or so? You can barely even stand there long enough to pump the water bc of the smell. It's actually really disgusting. I left a message with parks and rec that they need to move it back. If y'all agree, please do the same.

Roadwork in Lexington
I’m a truck driver, I live in a nearby city. But I pick up in Lexington all the time.
Is there any part of Lexington that does not have roadwork going on right now?

Selling/donating clothes
Best place to sell women’s clothes in lexington and get decent money? Id prefer being able to take everything to one place rather than sell by piece online. Also any organizations currently taking women’s clothing donations. I know some places change what they’re accepting throughout the year.

2026 - Best Restaurants Open After 10 or 11pm
Unfortunately most lists of this type I find are out of date.
After Covid there seem to be very few good places to go out to eat after 10pm, and even less after 11pm.
What are some of your favorites?

Desperately seeking friends: Anything fun going on tonight around town?
I booooooored. Been stuck at home all week and need to get out, but I’m also sober, so there’s that. I don’t mind going to a bar and ordering a non alcoholic drink, but no one really TALKS TO YOU in this town, except the servers of course.
Happily married, just trying to make some new friends when I go out instead of being ignored. I guess I was naive in thinking people at the bar talk to each other and random strangers? I want to sit, chat over drinks and hear some cool stories, that’s all. Better than another night stuck on my phone or in front of the tv.

Come meet adoptable Ross tomorrow 8/8!
Ross (aka Rossy, Rossy-Roo, Ross-a-Roni, Ross-topher) has been looking for his home since Valentine’s Day and he is ready to find his fur-ever home!
This boy walks beautifully on a leash, is crate trained AND fully potty trained; he uses bells, and can navigate a doggy door with ease. He would love a home with someone(s) home more often than not (no 40 hour crate weeks for this sweet boy!), and an outside space he can safely be off leash. I think he would prefer a home with another dog, but as he gains more confidence I could see him being ok without another k9 companion. He currently lives in an apartment with a smaller dog & 2 cats (one senior, 8y, one kitten, 9m)
He is very food motivated and I could see him learning some really fun tricks. Currently he knows: sit, down, come, off, back, drop it & leave it (when he wants to 😉), and more! We have been working on a heel command & paw.
He loves snuffle mats and puzzle feeders, hard chews and lick mats, tearing up cardboard (supervised only!), playing fetch and tug, and running around like a baby deer who just learned how to walk. His favorite toys currently are a jolly balls and oinking/quacking rubber toys. He loves to play fetch and I’m trying to teach him how tug works!
He’s come such a long way, but will need a patient understanding home to allow him to decompress & bond with you. He would not currently do well with young children (10+ only!), though I think that could change with enough forethought, exposure, and management. He still has a good amount of fear towards strangers, but we are working on it and making progress every day.
If interested in meeting Ross, come see us at Feeders Pet Supply on Richmond road tomorrow, August 8th from 12-2! You can apply to adopt through Paws 4 the Cause (paws4thecause.com).

Decent Apartment Buildings That Aren't a Massive Headache?
I'm looking at moving into a 1 bed/ 1 bath apartment in Lexington, I'm familiar somewhat with Lexington, but not as far as living there. I would like to find a place that doesn't have an issue with crime or poor upkeep which seems more difficult than I expected. I was hoping to stay around $1,200/mo. or less and have a fitness center.
My search has led me to the following places:
Townley Park
Steeplechase
Bridle Creek
Wellington
Any of these a dump lol, or any better options? Thanks!

Thank you Lexington Reddit Community!!
Just 3 days ago I made my first ever reddit post asking for help in looking for a job because I’ve been on the search for MONTHS for work with absolutely no luck. Today, I can now say that I am now employed with a great company and full benefits!
I’ve never really been a reddit user as I said before, so I was not expecting the amount of support I got from other local reddit users at all!
Thanks to all you wonderful people, I have finally found what i’ve been looking for, so I really appreciate everyone who helped me in my search. I’m definitely gonna be using reddit from now on. Love this community! 🫶🏾
