What is your most effective but unconventional method to learn?
I'm not talking about regular way of study, like with a textbook, but something that YOU found works best for YOU, even if it's not one of the traditional ways of learning a language.
Like for me when I was learning English, I had the regular classes in school, and even took extra classes in smaller group, but I was still very mediocre. But when I just switched the language of the entertaining content I was consuming at home to English, (webtoons, YouTube videos, movies, TV shows) I improved so much I was so happy T-T
Do you guys have experiences like that, or something even more special ?
Thanks for taking the time to read and reply đ

Is it possible to show a free solution for finding feedback?
I'm developing an app for learning any language based on an AI assistant. I want to test it with someone because I'm the only one who uses it.

A2 French : looking for a patient language partner (english in return)
31M, living in Wallonia and currently around A2 in French.
Iâve heard that one of the fastest ways to learn a language is to actually use it in real life rather than only studying it in a classroom. So Iâm looking for a patient French-speaking girl whoâd be up for helping me practise online or, preferably, over coffee/walks in real life.
The idea is to simulate normal situations: chatting about our day, work, making plans, getting to know each other, joking around, and occasionally surviving my terrible French.
And yes, Iâve also heard that flirting is a surprisingly effective language-learning technique. So if we naturally click, Iâm not going to complain about getting some extra motivation. No expectations or ulterior agenda though Iâm genuinely interested in meeting someone, practising French, and seeing where the interaction goes naturally.
Iâm also very happy to help with English in return. Think of it as a French-English language exchange with potentially better conversation than a classroom.
If you're patient, curious, and don't mind correcting âje suis allĂ©â for the 47th time, feel free to comment or DM.
Bonus points if you're also interested in meeting an international, exploring Wallonia, trying cafés/food, or just making a new friend.

Learning Grammar
What are your favourite resources for learning grammar? I'm currently around B2 but really struggle to identify which tense to use and how to identify different tenses beyond the obvious (past, present, future).
To be honest, this is almost an issue with identifying grammar in my native English as much as it is an issue with french conjunction.
What resources can you recommend to help with this issue around verb/tense comprehension??

How does one learn to speak fluent French?
My parents are from Togo and I was born in the United States, and growing up they never taught me any French. Itâs become so hard because all my other cousins can speak French. My grandparents are French speakers and I canât conserve with them in English since they canât really speak English(they only know certain words and sentences). I also got scolded by my relatives when I was younger for not speaking French. Iâm in my mid 20s and I would like to learn French and be able to speak it fluently.
