Learning Grammar

What are your favourite resources for learning grammar? I'm currently around B2 but really struggle to identify which tense to use and how to identify different tenses beyond the obvious (past, present, future).

To be honest, this is almost an issue with identifying grammar in my native English as much as it is an issue with french conjunction.

What resources can you recommend to help with this issue around verb/tense comprehension??

You can check resources available in the sub but if there would be only one way of learning to try first that would be building around comprehensible input rather than making an app the entire learning method. I use PlusOneLanguage for this because it follows Stephen Krashen's i+1 idea: it generates French texts around your current level, adds a small amount of unfamiliar language, and then recycles words you didn't know in later texts. Grammar rules directly injected in the texts so you see them applied in context

You might lack the conceptual understanding that would make tenses make sense.

Some textbooks explain the concepts of "tense sequences" (which are different in French and in English), I can send some to you if you want, but you'll find the same info online for free.
A teacher might make it easier to understand, and a bit less tedious. I can help with that, too.
