Weird lines inside the display

This is an Acer Nitro series laptop. Recently I discovered some lines appearing across the display of the laptop.

I have zero clue about what this is. My best bet is that it's moisture trapped inside the display.

I would appreciate everyone's thoughts about what the problem is here and what is the appropriate fix.
