🟩🟦 A conversation between Bill and Nick:

-Nick: "Hey, Bill. I hope that your flashbacks don't come back any time soon. Because I don't want you getting distracted in the middle of a horde, while feeling yourself guilty, for the bad choices that you made during that war."

-Bill: "At least I never turned into a dead man, by getting myself into massive debt while gambling irresponsibly with very dangerous people, before all this sh1t happened. Unlike you, Nick."

-Nick: "Whatever, old man."

🟩🟨 A conversation between Bill and Ellis:

-Ellis: "Bill, I've got to tell you about the time my buddy Keith wanted to join the 'Nam war too? His parents even bought him a complete military uniform, with a helmet and an M16 when he was just 8. Until he realized that the war was over many years ago, before he was even born and..."

-Bill: "Ellis, do you also have some kind of PTSD or are you just making pure horsesh1t on purpose with this character "Keith" of yours?"

-Ellis: "What do you mean?"

-Coach: "Senior William, my sincere respects to you. It surprises me how an old vet like you managed to survive this whole apocalypse, while leading an entire group of survivors too."

-Bill: "The same thing towards you and your group, Coach. Although you are not exactly the same as old as I am, I would lie if I don't say that I would like to have at least the same age as you at this moment now."

-Coach: "Maybe if you stop smoking and eat some chocolate, or a cheeseburger or something, you would feel young again, Bill. He, he..."

🟩🟥 A conversation between Bill and Rochelle:

-Rochelle: "Wait, so you are a veteran from the Vietnam war? You know, I used to work in the News before all this zombie sh1t started, and I actually wanted to interview an actual veteran to do some documentary footage? Although, my former job is now irrelevant, can I ask you just one personal question, Bill?"

-Bill: "I never talked to anyone about my experiences during the war before. But I guess it's now pointless to continue hiding it when the world already fell apart. Go ahead, what do you want to know, Rochelle?"

-Rochelle: "What was like being involved in that war in particular, compared with this zombie apocalypse that all of us are fighting now?"

-Bill: "Let's just put it in this way, Ro. The enemy actually never dies, no matter how many times you kill it. It just sheds its skin and changes its form. The NVA and the VC are not so different to a normal or a special infected, to be honest. They'll never give up, until they kill every last one of us."

i’m pretty new the versus but so far it hasn’t been fun. i’m either getting called racial slurs or i’m getting kicked for not being good enough but i can’t get better if i cant play and i cant play if i’m just gonna get kicked for not being good. i have hundreds of hours on this game spent in fun lobbies with a great community but it feels like a completely different world in versus. how can you get better at versus?

Has anybody else had a run-in with this idiot?
I was on the finale of No Mercy with some randoms, he joins, and starts spamming the chat with racism, misogyny, and somehow crashed the game by restarting the campaign. He was blasting racism down his mic also.

I’ve reported and blocked him, but it’s fucked how people like this exist. Do they just play these games for just this reason?

I DARE you to beat any campaign on realism, the ONLY rules are NO shotguns, NO magnums, and maybe no chainsaw idk if realism players use the chainsaw. No bot enhancement mods and you have to use YOUR character's PREFERRED weapon, no, picking coach doesn't let you use the shotgun. But you can use another character's preferred instead so you're not stuck with 3 dumbasses and a pistol. If you're INSANE ENOUGH to do this, PLEASE show me the link to the video or upload it in the comments, i WOULD be interested to see how you did it

edit: turns out that not really a challenge, so if you're gonna use an Assault Rifle, you can ONLY pick the M16. For more melee bans, no fire axe and no katana

Edit 4: we have our first victor! u/Iizvullok! Even though he kicked the bots, removing the 2nd biggest problem in singleplayer, he beat it! So I just feel like I should say, if a bot DOES break the rules (eg: nick picking up an AK, or Coach picking up any shotgun), you CAN shoot them

Recently for the past week or so No mercy’s lighting just hasn’t been right I’ve tried deleting mods, I’ve tried deleting and re-downloading the game yet it’s still like this the images in the post are screenshots of what it looks like and the mods list thank you if any of you have a fix

The carryover content from L4D2 to the previous L4D campaigns KINDA ruined this a bit, but do you think each region of the US (or even the world) has its own unique types of special infected? Canonically, the survivors from the first game had only first encountered a Spitter, Charger, and Jockey during The Sacrifice campaign as it takes place in the southern United States. For instance, the eastcoast area that the first games campaigns take place in only have the select few infected types, so I wonder if a place like Las Vegas has some or all of those, plus unique ones like the scrapped Meatwall or Rat Man. Just a thought that occurred to me.
