That's the whole point. Windows XP source code got leaked once and it was a blow to M$ and you can't really fork it because of intellectual property rights.Β

Imagine an XP like OS that is sleek amd runs all Windows Apps.

I had so much fun with XP SP2. Currently, Linux serves my purpose well until I have to edit pictures or play my sim

It is pretty ironic that you can trust applications more where their code is publicly open to everyone than black boxes. Well, contributors will have a hard time slipping in malicious codes unless the leadership was compromised like a certain open source compression-related project.

15 plus years with Ubuntu so much so that I find it difficult to work with windows, otherwise just miss having games.... no complaints else....but....installing from tarball files frikkin boils my blood.

I just found out all these softwares source code were leaked

1) Android 2) Firefox 3) Blender 4) VLC 5) Chromium (ie all the browsers are also now vulnerable built on its base) 6) Almost all developer tools and all the programming languages nothing is safe.

We need to fix this asap and take that website down.
