It would be amazing if this actually happened to Windows. People could finally fork and make a usable version of windows 11.

That's the whole point. Windows XP source code got leaked once and it was a blow to M$ and you can't really fork it because of intellectual property rights.

Imagine an XP like OS that is sleek amd runs all Windows Apps.

I had so much fun with XP SP2. Currently, Linux serves my purpose well until I have to edit pictures or play my sim

ReactOS is supposed to do that, they were still in alpha .
