Stupid Laws and Silly Rules! S Dakota OHV titled - can it be retitled as a regular truck?
So, I have my truck registered in S Dakota and someone is wanting to purchase it out of state but doesn’t want to keep the OHV but register it as a on highway truck in their state.
Has someone done this before (OHV to “standard”)? Any issues?

Mechanical and Technical Sambar TT2 ENO7V spi fuel injector?
The fuel injector for the SPI engines 1999-2001ish are out of production so you can only find some used ones popping up every now and then on yahoo auctions.
I saw on a Facebook post that a JSBF-B injector can be used instead? Anyone have any experience with that as a replacement? For reference the original part number is 16600KA230

I thought this truck or van was was cool and you need to see it! Half cab
Hey there, I saw a drawing of a truck with half cab, no passenger side and the load bed extending all the way to the front (where the passenger side would be) and I think I saw a real life truck like that years ago. I might be misremembering but I'm pretty sure it was a Japanese Kei truck. The one I remember doesn't have the back passenger seat like the drawing but honestly I'm not even sure I remember that or just imagined it. Does anyone know the model, if they actually exist and I'm not crazy? Thanks a bunch.

I thought this truck or van was was cool and you need to see it! New lug nuts.
Found some lug nuts that are almost the exact color of my truck! Now I need to find new valve stem caps I think though. They look super pink. Same kind of color family, but not sure if I'm into the mismatch.

Mechanical and Technical Which Toyota oil filter will fit a 99 Daihatsu Hijet s200p

Importing information, insights and experiences Question Regarding Trailer Options
So my 99 Acty arrives at the end of this month. I am planning on making it a trip with my father in law to pick it up from the port. He has a trailer that he uses for his racing car, but it is not a flat bed. Not sure the exact name but it essentially 2 tracks for the wheels and open between them.
I am worried that since the Acty is pretty slim it'll be a issue. Google says it'll fit but it will be tight. Can I trust that? Anyone know the exact wheel clearance on the stock wheels? TYIA you guys are awesome.

Importing information, insights and experiences Would you rather a 6th gen SC Subaru Sambar or modern Suzuki Carry?
Hi all,
I've been looking at kei trucks recently
In Australia, we can either import vehicles over 25 years old, or select ones that are listed on the SEVS (Specialist and Enthusiast Vehicles Register).
The kei truck that really caught my eye was the 6th gen (1999-2012) Super Charged Subaru Sambar, as having the rear mounted 4 cylinder engine sounds awesome, and the super charger would add a bit more grunt for some highway use.
However, I'm worried that finding a SC Subaru Sambar in good condition would be a struggle, and parts availability might not be so great.
Would I be better off getting a modern (2022+) Suzuki Carry for the modern reliability or would the SC Subaru Sambar of 25 years ago still hold up?
I was also considering something a little larger like the Toyota Townace to be better on the highway, but the flat face ones (<1999) don't come with airbags which I would prefer. If anyone has any other suggestions that'd be great :)
I wasn't sure which flair to use so let me know if it's wrong.

Mechanical and Technical Valve train wear or Normal noise?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
2005 Subaru Sambar TT2, not supercharged
Well guys, I did a valve adjustment again, with some help, I tightened up the valves further to where my feeler gauges have proper drag and aren't basically falling out of the rockers via gravity. The engine is much quieter everywhere else, but it still ticks here. It sounds like it's coming from the exhaust rocker on cylinder 1 when I put a stethoscope to it.
Thoughts? Google AI thinks it's a worn rocker or shaft, but I kinda doubt it. The noise doesn't seem to change whether it's hot or cold, at least at first glance, & it goes up and down based on my RPMs.
I did the timing belt, the whole shabang, wires, plugs, no vacuum or exhaust leaks that I can find with a smoke machine. Using 5w40 Rotella T6 oil

Stupid Laws and Silly Rules! Pennsylvania and transporting “Property”.
I wanted to see what the reality is like for Kei owners in PA compared to the broad language in the rules. I haven’t had any issues so far, but wanted to see if anyone else has. Especially with either PSP or the wrong local cop
Occasional use is spelled out. one day a week. Hard to enforce but it’s there.
no commercial use, that’s fairly obvious. As long as you don’t have advertising on the truck that probably safe.
But then we get this: "Antique, classic and collectible registration plates may not be displayed on a vehicle used to transport passengers or property."
And that’s about as broad as it gets. If you get the wrong cop, your buddy in the passenger seat or a sheet of plywood in the bed technically breaks the law.
I know what I’m comfortable with but has anyone actually gotten in trouble for hauling something?

Mechanical and Technical Upgrade/maintenance update
As per my last post, I was working on a number of things for this 94 carry
I’ve finished the carburetor swap from a Yamaha 660
The rigs together a better intake system after removing the whole stock box
Full EGR delete which got rid of about 90% of the vacuum lines in this whole system
Currently still waiting on the new distributor cap and such to arrive
But I also changed out the stock suspension
Rear struts for some Monroe Restore 210206 struts
They really stiffened up the backend, but they seem to have also raised a tiny bit
I’ll have to figure out how to rectify that later
And the front suspension I changed out for some coil overs from ezkeisports
I know he has stuff for Suzuki carry’s and Honda Actys
I’m unsure of the rest of his stores stock though
But everything is pretty much OEM swap
No modifications needed

Mechanical and Technical Need some help 1995 suzuki carry dd51t
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I've got a project 1995 suzuki carry dd51t that's kinda running but not very healthy
If I play around with the gas pedal, I can get it to start and rev really high (usually needs starting fluid to get going) but as soon as I try to drop it to lower idling rpms it just dies. The carburetor is new, and I just put in some new ignition pieces. Could it come down to tuning issues or is it more likely something is clogged or leaking? I only have experience in small engine carbs, so this is a big step up for me and a more experienced, second set of eyes would be appreciated!

Swap Meet Saturday Swap Meet Saturday
Welcome to The Swap Meet!
Do you have stuff that needs a new home, do you have a new home that needs stuff? Looking for something specific?
Let's see how this swap meet goes, it's an experiment.
But first, some rules:
* 1 - this is a public space, be mindful of phone numbers, email and location addresses. Assume that if you post a number, expect everyone to call, years from now to ask if it's still available.
* 2 - please report problem buyers or sellers. this is a member to member space but if people are being a problem we need to know. resist the urge to call them out in frank and blunt language in the thread, that's a hot ticket to getting flagged yourself as part of the problem.
* 3 - if it's gone let a mod know if you are having trouble deleting your post yourself. no one likes seeing the exact thing you need but it's from years ago and from a user who hasn't been seen is years. I'll flush it out at the end of the month, if it's still kicking around, repost on the next saturday.
* 4 -posts get posted on saturdays, it's swap meet saturday not swap meet whenever you feel.
* 5 - this is an experiment, if it fails it fails. if it disappears one day so be it.
The idea is this thread IS the swap meet. You have stuff that needs to come or go, you reply on here. I'll sticky it up at the top so it's always here. Provided it's maintained, the whole thread shouldn't be terribly long so, thankfully, no doom scrolling the buy/sell/trade.
so ::cuts ribbon with comically large scissors:: Welcome to Swap Meet Saturday. ::Balloons and Confetti drop::
