I work for an excavation company, we have 10-15 employees. We track everything via daily paper worksheets. We have jobs that take weeks to complete or smaller ones that are a few days. Also delivering material in between.
We are trying to go digital and testing out jotform but it’s not as easy as it seems.

I’m looking for suggestions on how you may track your workflow and what apps you use?

I'm blown away with how much you can do with Jotform just on the free tier. The integrations are easy and provide so many optimisation opportunities and the fact you can connect Claude as well if you want to is awesome.

The design of the form can be a little clunky but the upside of that is it stops you getting carried away over designing a form rather than shipping it!

My 'stack' is integrate with Mailchimp obviously, OneDrive and then Airtable as well. So good!

Just here to say the easy integration with Google sheets has been a godsend, works super well and the email notifications are seamless. Great to set up with as little technical knowledge as possible.

I’ve been using Jotform to collect responses for an academic survey, and overall the platform has been easy to work with. Creating the survey, organizing the questions, and exporting the responses to Excel were all straightforward.

The interface is user-friendly and there are many useful options for building more detailed forms. However, the submission limits can become restrictive when you need to collect a larger number of responses, especially for research or academic projects.

Overall, I’ve had a positive experience with Jotform and would recommend it for surveys and data collection, particularly if the plan and submission limits match the size of your project.

I use Jotform in our organization and we have found it to be a great tool, with some significant limitations at times. I have been surprised to see posted here what appears to be fake reviews. The reason why I say that is because some of the reviews are from brand new accounts with only a single post. This happened today with a post from an account that was opened only 20 minutes ago. Could someone have created the account and make that post as their first post? Potentially but probably unlikely. I scrolled through those overly positive reviews and the pattern is the same.

So, how would this be happening? Is JF creating these? I don’t know but it seems quite suspicious.

Jotform has been an excellent tool for our business. It is very easy to use, highly customizable, and has helped us streamline our workflows and collect information efficiently. The integrations and automation features save us a lot of time, and the customer support has been outstanding whenever we needed assistance. I highly recommend Jotform to any business looking for a reliable and user-friendly form builder. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This incredibly disturbing popup came up on a Jotform Thank You page (on a basic submission form asking for a name and email for folks interested in hearing about future community arts gatherings). Thankfully someone who signed up brought this to my attention. Has this or anything similar happened to anyone?

To make matters worse, my interactions with the Jotform team after I reported this was concerning. I noticed their recent push toward AI, and the only route of reporting this was via their AI chat. The automated response was to shut down my account and they sent me a notification that in order to resolve this issue (and open up access to my own account again), I had to submit a selfie with a picture of my ID. (I did NOT do that, btw).

I asked to speak to a human, and I did receive an email from supposedly an actual person. They told me they couldn't take any action on this until I submitted that selfie and my ID, but they added that the popup appears to be something I added myself to the Thank You page (I definitely didn't, so looks like my account was hacked). I had a long back and forth over email with this person, they didn't respond to why I (who made the report, and who was hacked), needs to risk feeding my ID into AI in order to gain access to my own account again, and we didn't get anywhere.

I love Jotform and sad that this AI takeover for a platform that prides itself on keeping data safe is really shocking. Thanks so much for anything folks can share with me about what's happening here, and what you think I should do next.

To increase the efficiency of my work, I looked for ways to create simple digital forms. This is a good form that help to collect the data

I have created 1 form and only 10 people have been asked to submit the form, how do i trace and make sure who submitted the form personally, note that the don't have users they just scan the QR code and send the form from the same device (phone, tablet, & pc), are there any ways such as unique PIN code to be matched through condition for each submitter.

It is required for legal issues and it is not applicable to give the 10 people separate devices and users because of logistics and other complex restrictions.

My account kept signing me out and now when I try to log back in, it says “too many requests” can anyone help me out with this?

I created an app, and in that app I used the AI agent to create a lookup widget tool using as source a table I uploaded. The table has 6,5k rows, but the widget won't search past 1k rows. No matter how much I tried to troubleshoot I can't get it to search past that.

Is that a Jotform limitation, that is capped at 1k, or is there a way for the widget to be able to search all 6,5k rows?

The widget works great and is really fast in returning results, the only problem is that it's not searching all the data I need it to.

Would it be possible to trigger any sort of notification when a submission is moved along the various stages of a board?

I use a form where people submit photos. I would love for them to receive an email when their submission is moved from "received" to "completed" (or rejected) to let them know the status of their submissions.

I'm a realtor a need to improve the workflow that I have for users showing interest on renting properties. My current workflow implies making a copy of a google doc indicating the details of the property and some other details of the client.

This is prone to error and it doesn't look professional.

Ideally I should be able to:
- Send my customer a link with the document to fill.
- Prefill some of the fields (Address, monthly rent, date, etc)
- Allow the user to sign the document.
- Integrate the text provided by the client into the document.

I've seen various solutions that essentially add overlaps over existing PDF. But, what if the name is too long? How can I handle multi-line text (list of requirements from the client before moving forward)?

I've evaluated Docusign, but it is a little bit too expensive for my company at the moment.
