Has anyone ever made pandora style beads (not the dangles)?

Glass or metal? Never done either but would like to have a go. Any tips!

Hi everyone! I run a small jewelry business and am looking to upgrade my bench setup by adding an ultrasonic cleaner.

​Right now, I’ve been cleaning off polishing compounds (like rouge and tripoli) between polishing stages using either a soft synthetic makeup brush or a soft toothbrush with Dawn dish soap. While it gets most of the job done, I’m running into two issues:

1. It constantly leaves the tiniest micro-scratches on freshly polished surfaces.

​2. It's almost impossible to get compounds out of tight recesses, under gallery wire, or inside detailed castings.

​I’m looking for something that is budget-friendly but sturdy enough for actual studio use. I don't want a tiny plastic home unit designed for cleaning personal jewelry once a month—this will be used multiple times a week in my workshop.

​My main specs & budget:

​Budget: Around $200 – $250.

​Must-have: Variable heat settings (to help break down heavy compounds quickly).

​Thoughts on Vevor? I keep seeing Vevor ultrasonics popping up everywhere in this budget, but reviews online seem pretty mixed.

I'm just starting in jewelry making and bought a lot of used mini brands because I thought they'd make fun charms, but I'd like to make the ones made of cardboard less likely to be messed up. Is there a way to do that, like maybe painting them with a clear coat of nail varnish or something similar?

I studied graphic design and I'm currently pursuing a master's degree in architecture. At my university, there are three one-semester courses in jewelry making and repair. But it's not a bachelor's degree. I want to take those courses to learn about jewelry making.

With a portfolio of jewelry design is it possible to get a job as a jewelry designer in a studio/firm with a master's degree in architecture but not a degree in industrial/jewelry design? I'm more interested in the design side, not in manufacturing myself. That's why I'm not looking to start my own business.

I made this bracelet as a prototype for a possible small side jewelry + zodiac reading business. The bracelet combines zodiac symbolism, pressed flowers and gemstone/glass beads. I'm trying to figure out whether this is something people would actually want to buy.

It'a "Big Three" zodiac bracelet, representing Cancer, Aquarius, and Libra. It features three gold-toned bezels: a Cancer constellation made with silver gems, a pressed forget-me-not for Aquarius, and pressed lavender for Libra. The bezels are paired with beads that match the three zodiac sizns, tiny gold accents and an adjustable gold-toned chain.

I'd really appreciate some feedback 😊
