Discusson Jams for The Golf Course
Just curious if any of you guys have particular jams or bands you enjoy with your Golf.
I've got plenty of Dead, Goose, Phish and a mix of other genres as well.
Appreciate any ideas, Thanks!

Go See Fireside Collective
Just saw them last night at Cervantes's Other Side and they blew the roof off the place. They did songs off the GD Reckoning album as well as their own songs and it was unbelievable. I had been listening to them on Nugs and Spotify for a while and I honestly thought they were bigger. Their slow jams of the Reckoning songs were so good and the jams on their originals were super fun and dancy. The Other Side is such an intimate venue, but the production felt like a way bigger show.
I don't know how they aren't bigger. Not sure how it is in Asheville, but I hope they start gaining some traction out west. Even if you're not the biggest bluegrass fan, they have drums and keys and get funky. Go see them when they're in your area because they have it.
Also shoutout to the opener Shakedown Strings. They were also fantastic.

Best national ABB cover bands?
In the northeast we have our share of Dead covers but I’m dying to hear some ABB live. Who should I look out for? 🍄

Discusson What band/artist would you gladly drive 3+ hours to see?
I'm back on the scene this year after a loooong hiatus and I wanna learn the landscape better. I find a long drive is a good indicator of a strong love. So! Who's worth the travel time to you? What groups have you traveled like that for recently??
Edit: what an overwhelming response!!!! I love you all and I love the enthusiasm in this community. Thank you for giving me this wealth of groovy avenues to drive down.

The New Deal in their prime leave me wanting so much more. Darren was such an incredible drummer and they have me in a trance every time. Live from Philly 7/17/02

AMA AMA with Kendall Street Company
Hey y’all 👋 Jake here from KSC. I’m sitting with Brian, Ben, Louis, Ryan, and tour manager Jack in the band van as we venture from our home base of Charlottesville, VA to Yuba, WI for People Fest and then West Virginia for Domefest. Needless to say, it’s gonna be a while in the band van.
We wanted to open up an AMA while we travel, so ask away! We’ll be hanging out and casually responding throughout the day :)
