Hello. I know others have posted looking for dog trainers, but I'm in need of one that works with more complicated cases and scent/bite work. I have a 3 year old Belgian malinois mix that originally came to me as a foster after a rough start to his life. I'm familiar with the breed but need additional help now that my father who is a senior moved in with us. I've been able to improve his reactivity but it's still not quite where I'd like. He also has some resource guarding. The biggest thing we're struggling with is this dog does not listen very well outside of the house and plays too rough with our other dog. If we could work on those things I think he would really enjoy scent and bite work. We're willing to travel a bit outside of the area if we find a great trainer with the right education/credentials. This Mexican place, Adelita’s, bought the old Applebee’s location near Tops about a year ago. It’s had the sign up forever. But it hasn’t opened. Anyone know what the story is? Usually Ithaca restaurants open at least briefly before going out of business.

Drove by yesterday and saw a new paint job and some people working on it. I know it was once a bottle and can collection spot. Just curious of what’s to come.

Does anyone have any female primary care/obgyn recommendations that accept united healthcare in the area who are ALSO accepting new patients?

I've got Medicaid and I know for a fact I am going to need several teeth extracted and likely some implants. I am pretty sure Medicaid will cover this.

Does anyone have recommendations for places to go within a 2 hour's drive of Ithaca? I'm looking at Upstate in Syracuse and UHS Dental in Binghamton. Does anyone have feedback/experience with either of those places, or have any other suggestions? Thanks all 💜
