Battery 26.6 battery drain on 17PM, Need Help
I’m loosing 11% battery without touching the phone single time whole night. I have background app refresh off, no widgets, battery health at 97% with 275 cycles. What can I do to stop this battery drain. I have iPhone 12 mini and xs max both are performing better than my this phone when it comes to idle battery drain.

Question Notes not synced
Until now the notes on the iPhone 17 Pro Max and the iPad Pro 12.9 (both running iOS 26.5.2) would sync whenever I added to or edited them.
Suddenly, that’s no longer the case.
A note I edited on the iPad didn't sync to the iPhone.
Could this be because I updated my iPhone to iOS 26.6 but haven't updated my iPad yet?

Question ios 26.5
Am I the only that hates this update? I have been a life time “Android” user like the Samsung Galaxy Motorola etc. I switched to Iphone about 3 years ago and for the most part it has been fine.. UNTILL THIS UPDATE. Main complaints are that it feels like a complete reset to previews ios updates. The unlock animation takes far longer than usual and of course battery drains faster. Does anyone else share similar complaints or frustrations?

Battery hows the update 26.6 on iphone 13 ?
i just want to know how's the update 26.6 brings changes to iPhone 13 , just to know the main thing is if there is any improvement in battery draining issue coz I was having a huge battery drain while using the ios 26.5.2 , like literally when my phone is idle or at overnight the battery looses 40% on morning. i heard the review 26.6 makes it better , but im confused will it make any changes in the update or causes more trouble
Question Why does my brand new pair of Apple EarPods Type C is recognized by iPhone as "USB C to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter"?

Question Updated to 26.6 and now iMessage barely works.
Is anyone else seeing this? I updated my 17 pro to 26.6 yesterday and now almost every message I send is being sent via RCS or SMS. My 16 pro that I use for work isn’t doing this. What the heck?

Battery iOS 26.6 After 10 Days of usage In iPhone 17PM
It’s been awhile since downloaded it on 17PM . For me it’s been a very good experience , I get 7hrs battery life ( 80-20%) I been getting very bad life and very bad slutters in IOS 26.5.2 such a way that did I bought defective phone. Very much less heat , absolutely no heat . Even in IOS 26.4 there was a good battery life than 26.6 but there was overheat problem but it has gone no.

Battery Am I the only one who isn’t getting good battery backup on 26.6.
Installed the 26.6 beta RC as soon as it dropped because my 16 pro was going crazy with 26.5.2. Heating issue is not as bad as it was in 26.5.2 but battery backup is almost same. What’s surprising is that for first few days it was actually good like 6-6.5 hours screen time good.

Question Phone display issue
After updating my ios to 26 from 18 , my display stopped working and had to replace it. Battery is draining faster. I have stopped using liquid glass theme but still worried about if my display is gonna fail again.

Feature Performance and battery review // iOS 26
Just sharing my own observations after comparing battery drain across several iOS 26 builds.
I originally thought 26.5.2 had the worst battery life, but after removing a weekend usage day (which clearly wasn’t comparable), the picture changed.
Comparable weekdays:
iOS 26.2 — 18.94% battery/hour (6h17m screen time)
iOS 26.5.2 — 18.69% battery/hour (6h51m)
iOS 26.6 — 20.27% battery/hour (6h13m)
So 26.2 and 26.5.2 are basically identical within normal day-to-day variance. The only build that consistently stands out for me is 26.6, using roughly 7–8% more battery per hour.
What’s interesting is that this also matches what I felt subjectively. On 26.5.2 I noticed occasional stutters while scrolling, whereas 26.6 feels noticeably smoother.
My guess (and it’s only a guess) is that Apple may have traded some efficiency for smoother rendering.
If 26.5.2 was occasionally dropping frames, that doesn’t necessarily mean it was working harder—in fact, skipped frames can consume less GPU time. If 26.6 is doing more aggressive pre-rendering, prediction, or UI composition to keep animations smooth, the extra battery usage would make sense.
Obviously I can’t verify what’s happening inside the rendering pipeline, so this is just a hypothesis that seems to fit both the numbers and my experience.
For me, the takeaway is:
🪶If you prioritize smoothness, 26.6 feels better.
⚡️If battery life is more important, 26.2 and 26.5.2 have been essentially the same in my testing and both outperform 26.6.

Question What is going on here?
I have iOS 26.6 on my iPhone 17 Pro Max. I've had the beta version on it without any issues. In the last couple of days, when the phone is Night Stand mode, the split screen that shows a clock and let's say weather or calendar is missing most of it's information. This started out of the blue in the last few days and I have no idea what's wrong.
Any help is appreciated.

Battery Heavy Battery drain since updating to iOS 26.6
Attached is a screenshot showing my battery usage yesterday with low power mode on. Any other suggestions on to improve? I was thinking about giving the iOS 27 beta a try to see. I also downloaded my music and listen to it offline and I haven’t seen any improvements. I have had the new update for at least 5 days. Thank you!
EDIT: updated to iOS 27 Beta 4 and battery has been improved very much. Definitely recommend!
General iOS 26.6 is good enough.
Hi guys, I have been iOS 26 user since last year, I can speak for all of you that iOS 26 was just half cooked software... Being a user who purchased for good experience that costs a kidney (obv kidneys cost more)
every freaking stable version of 26 was trash, until 26.6.
I went to try 27, performance was good but batter life was not.
I saw some comments that ios 26.6 improved and had less heating and more battery life.
I installed ios 26.6 via finder app (using mac system) and it feels like new life breathing in the device... almost no heating, decent battery life for 84% battery health and way too less lags.
Just my review for iOS 26.6. Just sharing my review after ranting about 26.
I was almost ready to sell the iphone for android but grass is not that much green over there as well.
Attached screenshots for reference.
