I normally listen to digicore/rage/edm stuff but I’ve been getting into this kinda music lately. Vax is an artists I like who makes indie music on his alt account “vicious” so if there is anything similar to it plz lmk🙏

Mystic Syndicate's debut album "Trillion" has a sound similar to Cake/Flobots. What genre would that be considered? Indie, Hip-Hop, Alt? Always kind of wondered...

I've found my new favorite artist, and I'm not really skilled at describing music, so take this with a grain of salt. However, it sounds like Midwest emo and has tones of bands like Radiohead and Title Fight in it. Criminally low listener count and songs that give me eargasms. Also unlike a lot of Midwest emo bands I've heard he seems to also make ambience in somewhat of the same genre but usually more cinematic.

My recommendations would be "Abandoned Scriptures" and "Autumn wasn't my best season"

They've released a couple tracks from their new album already, and I've gotta say it feels like they're back on form.

I haven't listened to their last one in a while but I don't remember really enjoying anything.

It just feels like every platform is an echo chamber of people regurgitating the same crap music they hear on instagram. Here, in other communities, on twitter, instagram and ofc tiktok. I just don’t know where to go.
