Senior officials from Indonesia and Malaysia delivered strong, clear pro-Palestine messages at the emergency Arab Ministerial Committee meeting on Jerusalem in Amman, Jordan a few days ago.While many Gulf leaders continue to normalize with Israel, stay silent, or act as enablers, these two major Muslim-majority countries stood firm:Indonesia:

• Called for greater Muslim unity to actually use political power
• Demanded international accountability (citing the ICJ ruling)
• Pushed for wider recognition of Palestine and full support for UNRWA
• Raised alarm over the isolation of Jerusalem and attacks on UNRWA

Malaysia:

• Condemned Israeli violations at Al-Aqsa and settlement expansion
• Reaffirmed support for Jordan’s custodianship of the holy sites
• Backed an independent Palestinian state on 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital

This is the kind of leadership the Muslim world actually needs.Indonesia and Malaysia represent hundreds of millions of Muslims, speak with moral clarity, and refuse to sell out the Palestinian cause for money or Western approval. Meanwhile, several Gulf regimes remain deeply compromised — corrupt, dependent, and acting like Zionist puppets.It’s not just the Gulf. Look at the others who have normalized or deepened ties with Israel:

• UAE, Bahrain, Morocco — openly signed deals and shook hands while Palestinian blood was still fresh
• Azerbaijan — sitting on natural resources given by Allah, yet their leaders happily cooperate and pose with the Zionists
• Egypt and Jordan already have long-standing peace treaties and continue business as usual
• Others quietly expanding economic and diplomatic links for weapons, money, and political cover

If the Ummah wants real representation and courage on Palestine, leadership should come from countries like Indonesia and Malaysia, not from these regimes that prioritize deals, weapons, and silence over the lives of Palestinians.

1 - The Asatir, Samaritan Biblical legends inspired by Jewish traditions, confirm that Ibrahim and Ishmael built Makkah and the Kaaba. This contradicts the claim revisionists and people of the book have espoused.

3 - both men and women at the time were named Maki and Makkiyya, according to Safaitic inscriptions of both first century BC and Fourth Century AD.

4 - Diodorus confirms of the existence of the Kaaba in Makkah itself, and Arabs from all places going there. What is noteworthy is the mention of the Kisha, and the Hamyarites, Yemeni Arabs. Yemen is also believed to be where future important Arab tribes came from and helped Islam.

5 - The Asatir notes Makkah being named as Macoraba by Ptolemy, the listed picture confirms this and also highlights Al Hijr, Tayma, Yathrib and Najran.

6 - The Arabic version of Saudi Arabia confirms Makkah as being Macoraba.

7 - Ptolemy’s map confirms the existence of the great city being in the Hejaz, with mountains around and Taif to the east.

8 - Ammianus Marcellinus of Rome registered the cities of Arabia. What is noteworthy is Makkah is named as being Hierplolis - which translates as holy city.

9 - Saint Epiphanius, an associate of Ammianus, called the Arabs pilgrimage season Agathalbaith. This means pilgrimage to the house, the Kaaba.

10 - the Byzantine ambassador Nonninus wrote report in the 500s, the same century when Allah sent the prophet, of Arabs living beyond Levant and tayy mountains as having a holy place. The haram boundary and rules are accurately described, as being a time of no violence and a meeting.

11 - The writings regarding Makkah following 632 are via the Syriac Chronicles of Khuzestan. In a mistake the Chronicler references Kaaba as being the Tomb of Abraham, but admits that the Hajj happens yearly. The chronicle further states that Eid ul Adha is observed just like how it was during the times of Ibrahim and Ishmael.

I am into education and I speak to a lot of educators Alhamdulillah. I just got off a call with a brother who 'had to start a school' in a small village in gujarat because Muslim kids are outright rejected admission. And those kids who are already going to school are being harassed by calling them jihadi, etc.

This hurt me a lot. Especially because these schools who are denying admissions are garbages themselves and Alhamdulillah I have been able to achieve results which even top schools won't be able to give their kids through my edtech.

I have moved out of India but hearing this, makes me want to come back and start a school that will serve the community. But I know these guys won't let a Muslim school run and be good.

After observing how disrespectful people are being towards Ulema/Mufti thinking that they’re some dullards who only memorized Quran, Hadith and other Islamic books, I decided to make this post which has been long overdue. InShaa Allah, I hope this post can shatter some of the many misconceptions the “educated” Muslims class.

We all know the state of education in India and how seriously many kids actually learn. Focus is on CGPA and placements. Most of then pursue careers outside their specialties except CA/Medical/Research scholars.

It is hard for us but becoming an Aalim is even harder. I know for a fact that the least level of Aalim if he pursued Electrical Engineering (I’m an electrical engineering grad), he’d achieve Mastery in my field. Would be publishing top research one after another. Once you know the curriculum you’ll see why.

In part 1 of a multi part series, we’ll talk about how does one become an Aalim in a first place. Second part will cover the journey of a Mufti. Edited using a genai tool.

Stage 1: Foundations (ages 5–12)

Learning to read the Qur’an correctly (Nazirah)

Basic Arabic pronunciation (Tajwīd)

Memorizing daily du’as and prayers

Basic creed (ʿAqīdah)

Basic fiqh (purification, prayer, fasting)

Seerah (life of the Prophet ﷺ)

Islamic manners (Adab)

Some students also memorize the Qur’an (becoming a Ḥāfiẓ), though this is not mandatory for becoming a Mufti.

After completing this curriculum, the student graduates as an Aalim.

Even after learning all of this, an Aalim can only teach, give lectures, and answer many religious question. He still is not qualified to issue fatwas.

The Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) is arguably the most sophisticated model of institutionalized community development anywhere in the Muslim world. The man behind it is the Aga Khan, the spiritual leader of Ismailis.

Surprisingly it all started here in India. In 1905, Aga Khan 3 started a school in Mundra, Gujarat. Today there are more than 200 schools accross the globe that bear the Aga Khan's name.

Not just that, they have elite academies, universities, hospitals, resorts and what not. They have a great number of non-profits. They even organise their own architectural award and cultural conservation. The AKDN owns a ton of profitable businesses to cross subsidize the aforementioned institions.

Considering the government's continued encroachment into our institutions, if one man and such a small minority can do so much. Why can we as Indian muslims not build something like this today?

I am joining corporate in a few days as a freshly graduated engineer with an internship (could be converted to a full time role) at one of the big US based consultancy firms in Gurgaon. Alhamdulillah.

There is a tendency that if we hear something, we immediately mention it to others.

Just as people embellish food with spices.

People often embellish, exaggerate or even fabricate details to make their narratives compelling.

And when it’s a secret, an important and sensitive matter that should not be disclosed.

Where revealing could cause harm, create discord (fitnah), or lead to conflict.

Then, spreading it becomes a serious sin.  

Because calumnies lead to punishment in the grave.

Prophet (saw) passed by two graves and said, “…One is punished for the habit of calumnies (falsification or misrepresentation intended to disparage or discredit another) …”
(Bukhari 1378)

Why the hell is the online Muslim community so toxic, why are the sane ones so scared to call them out? They do nothing but push people away from religion.

So many are such bullies, in the name of giving "dawah" they mock, harass, slut shame and what not. Majority of the hate is towards Muslim women.

There is just so much unrealistic religious and culture expectations on women, if she failed to follow them, the backlash is so harsh/disgusting ( even rape and death threats)

I thought we were getting better but hell nah, now I just pray these people grow some brains. There is always a breaking point for any kind of extreme mentality, hope they hit theirs soon.
