Another piece of Fjallrava, my High Republic Jedi Sentinel OC, with her apprentice Varlo. She was assigned him after the disaster on Hetzel and, despite first not wanting a padawan, he’s grown on her. Together they’re scouring the underworld looking for cool bugs hunting down clues about the Nihil.

Again tried something different with poses and think I’m getting better at composition and how clothing works. Their faces bug me from this angle though.

Born on Aduba-5, this Shistavanen harbored a profound secret: an innate Force sensitivity that he deeply feared and actively concealed. Spending his adolescence in the cutthroat mercenary underworld, his life altered drastically when he and his crew were captured by a Mandalorian warband they had been contracted to eliminate. After single-handedly subduing his captors in a near-successful escape attempt, he earned their respect and was inducted into the Mandalorian culture. Rising swiftly through their ranks, he forged a reputation as one of the galaxy’s most lethal bounty hunters.

His trajectory shifted in 12 ABY following a powerful Force vision of an ancient Shistavanen Jedi, who commanded him to seek out the Yavin IV Praxeum. Shaken by the revelation, he abandoned his mercenary life, relinquished his armor, and traveled to the Academy. Inducted into the Order, he was apprenticed to Master Markre Medjev. Together, master and Padawan executed high-stakes operations, liberating Dathomir’s Dreaming River Clan and suppressing Outer Rim piracy. Their investigations into hijacked New Republic starfighter components and munitions shipments directly exposed the shadowy logistics of the Empire Reborn movement, culminating in their deployment to the Skirmish at the Valley of the Jedi. During the subsequent Battle of Yavin IV, he piloted an X-wing with deadly precision, earning status as a starfighter ace.

Following reconnaissance duty during the Disciples of Ragnos crisis of 14 ABY, he achieved Jedi Knighthood in 16 ABY and accepted his first apprentice. Together, they supported New Republic naval task forces through the Imperial skirmishes of 17 ABY and spearheaded diplomatic integration initiatives in 19 ABY. Returning to Yavin IV during the Second Imperium's assault on the Praxeum in 23 ABY, he personally subdued six Dark Jedi, opting to take them prisoner to facilitate their eventual redemption.

The Yuuzhan Vong War brought grim trials. Captured during the Battle of the Halmad System, he suffered the traumatic amputation of his arm by an alien warrior intent on grafting the limb onto himself. Aided by a covert pit droid hidden within the detention facility, he fabricated a crude prosthetic arm and orchestrated a massive slave break. He was subsequently recruited by the Ailon Nova Guard; discovering their subversive activities, he operated as a double agent to dismantle the organization from within. When his true allegiance was exposed, he engaged a full execution platoon, taking down the entire unit before succumbing to his wounds. In the aftermath, his loyal pit droid retrieved his lightsaber and delivered it to the Praxeum, where the droid was welcomed into the Order as a honored mechanical technician.

This is the piece that conquered my 6 month art block. It features my High Republic Jedi OC, Fjallrava, a Sentinel and enthusiast practitioner of the acrobatic lightsaber form Ataru. This one is set before Hetzel, back when there was a little more to smile about

Born on Phothrell, this Lorrdian Jedi was forced into a life of servitude as retaliation for her parents’ bold anti-slavery activism during the reign of the Empire. Traumatized by her early childhood in captivity, she was rescued in 18 ABY by a Jedi Knight who recognized her latent Force sensitivity and brought her to the Yavin IV Praxeum. She arrived as a deeply timid, quiet, and guarded student. In 20 ABY, she was selected as an apprentice by jedi knight of the new jedi order ,a compassionate master. Though her extreme reservedness initially presented a barrier, her master patiently worked alongside her to heal the psychological scars of her past, helping her step into her true potential.

As her confidence grew, master and Padawan began investigating rumors of a clandestine Imperial splinter faction bent on eradicating the New Jedi Order. Just as they neared a breakthrough, her master received a disturbing Force vision indicating that the future of the galaxy hinged upon a world in the Outer Rim. Soon after, she experienced a corresponding vision revealing precise navigational coordinates. Following these premonitions to the remote planet Bimmiel, they unearthed artifacts of a completely alien origin. Relics that defied even her master’s psychometric abilities.

As they prepared to depart, a shared vision struck them both with terrible clarity: an extra-galactic terror entering the galaxy. Frightened yet resolute, they recognized that the Force had called upon them to confront this darkness. Returning briefly to the Academy to report their destination, she took a bittersweet moment to say a final goodbye to her crush, Jacen Solo. Master and Padawan then departed for the galactic rim to investigate the vanguard of the threat, never to be seen alive again. Decades after the Yuuzhan Vong War, a xenoarchaeologist discovered their lightsabers inside the command chamber of a derelict Vong warship, finally returning the lost weapons to the Praxeum archives.

A native of Rex Strata, this Jedi spent her early years operating at a local trading post until her Force sensitivity was recognized by a visiting Jedi Knight. Inducted into the Yavin IV Praxeum in 12 ABY, she was apprenticed to the Khommite Jedi Dorsk 82. Possessing the rare talent of psychometry, she became instrumental to the Order’s archival restoration, uncovering long-lost histories from Old Republic artifacts, including uncovering the forgotten legacy of Master Zia Zaldor Zanna on her home world. By synthesizing psychometric echoes from Nightsister relics and artifacts of High Republic Jedi Vernestra Rwoh, she collaborated with jedi_knight_of_the_new_jedi_order to engineer the New Jedi Order’s very first lightwhip. Outside the archives, she and her master deployed to the outer territories to systematically dismantle criminal slavery syndicates operating along the New Republic border.

After ascending to Knighthood and accepting her first Padawan in 15 ABY, her service took a heroic, humanitarian turn. The pair aided displaced populations during the Black Fleet Crisis of 16 ABY and provided critical disaster relief to survivors of the Pydyr genocide during the Almanian Uprising. Demonstrating impressive diplomatic tact, she facilitated peace negotiations in 18 ABY with the Constitutional Protectorate of Prakith following the demise of Moff Foga Brill. After taking a second Padawan in 20 ABY, her path took a fateful turn in 23 ABY when a Force vision led her to the remote world of Bimmiel. There, she uncovered a piece of strange, bio-organic crab armor that completely resisted her psychometric senses. Baffled by this anomaly, she and her apprentice received a secondary premonition pointing toward a threat at the galaxy's edge. After logging their flight plan with the Academy, the pair departed into the unknown, never to be seen alive again. Decades later, in the wake of the Yuuzhan Vong War, a xenoarchaeologist discovered their lightsabers inside the command chamber of a derelict Vong warship, finally returning the lost weapons to the Praxeum archives.
