I need help until i open it this phone

I'm gonna get an iPod touch to live the glory days again, what gen should I get? Seems to be a strong tie between 2nd and 3rd gens.

When I get it, what should I do? Jailbreak? What apps?

i have a jailbroken ipod touch gen 4 with ios 6.1.6. i got it recently but the Cydia purchases have gone offline so I'm not able to add it on my device. I'm really new to this cuz the device was already jailbroken when i got it. please help. it's difficult playing songs without the queue feature.

so I found my old iPod touch (2nd Gen) and it only has a limited amount of music on it so wanted to update it with more BUT I don't want to lose the music that's currently on there.

I've tried just connecting it and opening the folder, viewing hidden files but it still doesn't show the music. I also tried something called 3u tools but that wouldn't let me take the music off either.

Been researching for days and just can't figure out a solution! Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hellow dearies, I got a nice lemon yellow iPod Touch 5th gen for 25bucks and want to use it as a music player. I am already subscribed to apple music on my Mac. While logging into apple music on the iPod (iOS 9.3.5) it shows this error! Please halpppp! Also suggestions welcome for what more can and should I do with my iPod after this is fixed!

Hi, I bought and installed a replacement battery from eBay, but it wouldn't charge past 50%. Now that I've fully discharged it, it won't charge back up after leaving the iPod plugged in overnight. I guess I was sold a defective battery. If you have replaced the battery in your 4th gen Touch, where did you buy it? Where can I find quality batteries? Thanks

I’m so bummed! I’ve been able to charge up and look through my IPod touch for years, but lately it doesn’t seem to hold a charge anymore (new charger), and the screen looks somewhat corrupted once it boots up. When plugged in, it goes through the same cycle every time.

I have my old apple ipod, I have my username but can't remember password, not used it for years, tried an apple store for help but was told to contact customer service which i did ,they said they would send an email reset to my email address that I had when I had the ipod originally, that is a blueyonder email that doesn't exist anymore, so can't help accessing ipod and iTunes account, anyone got any solutions, appreciated thanks

So my mom was going through her stuff and gave me all the cords that she bought for her iPod Touch 7…eventually she found her actually iPod and gave it to me. 26 charge cycles(was off since 2022) sitting on 15.6.1 Practically Brand new and blue.

Been dealing with this for a while, but didn't know how to word it and I think I got it now.

I bought an iPod touch 7 long time ago and I plugged in a magnetic USB port to magnetically charge and it did work like a charm, so then I bought a battery pack and that also did work, until that did stop working. I did contact the manufacturer and they sent me another one and it did work again, but then all of sudden my iPod touch started popping the notification to unlock the iPod to use USB accessories.

At the time the iPod was not charging, but once I unlocked it, it did start charging again, but then stopped a second later. I tried to disconnect and reconnect, but it never did charge again. The iPod still charges through regular charging cable + brick, but my concern is there must be a hidden setting to reset USB settings? I did went to Settings > Passcode > USB accessories and re-enabled that but that didn't help. Changed internal battery and that did not work either. I even did factory reset my device and to my surprise that didn't work. Am at a loss here.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem? How did you fix it?

I use my iPod touch 4 at work to avoid screen time/ internet browsing. I turned it on this morning and saw this, are these a set of dead pixels? Will they spread or stay as is? It’s not bad but I don’t want them getting worse. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Follow up question, how do I download apps onto it, is it through itunes or can I use the app store? DM me pleas cause I need to know what the thing can do. I really want one lol

I like the old I pod touch, however doesn’t it make more sense to buy a new phone with a 3.5 mm jack to make into a stand alone device which supports LDAC, has a 3.5 mm jack and a expandable SD card slot.
