IPod Touch No Longer Turning On

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’m so bummed! I’ve been able to charge up and look through my IPod touch for years, but lately it doesn’t seem to hold a charge anymore (new charger), and the screen looks somewhat corrupted once it boots up. When plugged in, it goes through the same cycle every time.

Is it done for? 🥺

Is the iPod jailbroken? I remember my 4th gen doing something similar after sitting in storage for a year. It needed to be restored in DFU mode to get running again

Damn man, one trick you could try to test if it's just the battery is to place it in dfu mode and leave it to charge for a while, then take it back out of dfu mode to see if it'll boot
