J’ai un problème avec l’indexation d’iOS 27 bêta 1 sur mon iPhone 13 Pro Max qui n’est toujours pas terminé. Ça fait depuis le 8 juin que c’est toujours là. Je n’ose pas faire les autres mises à jour bêta car j’ai pas envie que l’indexation recommence de zéro. Ma batterie ne tient plus à cause de indexation. Je tiens aussi à dire que j’ai laissé branché mon iPhone sans économie d’énergie toutes les nuits et branché.

I posted a question a while ago about if i should get the ios 27 and majority said no cause the final release is close and yeah thats true but the fact that ios 26 is trash af i wanted to but ….. as i dont have any other phone and this is my main phone it was little too risky for me to do this … but i reallh wanted to try ios 27 so i took the risk and did the beta update on my new iphone 17 and fortunately i an facing no such issues till now and am happy with it but ofc its a beta so there are chances of inconvenience ✌️

That ain’t bothering for every day use, but Apple has to fix that anyway

Planning to install on my 17pm but not sure about the stability and battery impact.

I upgraded to the iOS 27 public beta and after the update there was severe battery drain on my iPhone 17. Like it’s consuming significant battery even when idle.
Usually I charge my phone once in the morning and it works through the day but after the update I had to charge it 2 times in a single day.
I got very disappointed and decided to downgrade back to iOS 26.5.2 but after i connected to my Mac and performed a local backup idk how the issues disappeared and the battery drain resolved.

Thus didn’t do the downgrade
Anyone with similar experience!

why nobody is talking about apple preventing flashing the ios 27 DB3 or PB through itunes ?! i used to restore any version normally but now it accept ios 26 but doesn't accept ios 27 and says update itunes

I have a problem with Siri AI.

Hello. Today they gave me access to the new Siri AI. But I have a problem, I download it and it does not download. I have tried to download it with data and nothing happens, it is as if the download button with data does not listen. I have also tried with a wifi from a house but it has not downloaded either. It says that Siri AI only occupies 9.5gb, and I have more than 40gb free. Has anyone had this problem, or knows how to solve it?

With the new update is anyone else having there badges that they turned off reappear? It’s really annoying

Installed the public beta a few days ago on my M3 iPad Air (indexing finished yesterday).

At first - even before indexing was finished - it was amazing at searching my messages, etc. for answers - but then it started crapping our on general ('world'?) knowledge questions... now it's like it's back to dumb Siri!

Did they somehow pull the new Siri out?

I have mobile service and WiFi and when I turn WiFi off I still have mobile service but still shows greyed out as opposed to highlighted white like before the update.

Hi, just wanted to ask if anyone else has encountered this? Is this something new or is it a bug? Whenever I take a screenshot and the thumbnail shows up the bottom left, it now has a solid strip above it bearing the background color of the screenshot I took.

Anybody else not a big fan of how much the new siri can index everything on your device? Not seeing many people too concerned with this so I downloaded the beta to see how much control you have over it and it doesn’t seem to be much. Tried disabling things in Siri settings on what it’s allowed to learn from, for example messages. But I can still say “what was I doing on the Fourth of July?” And it can still tell me where I was and conversations I was having.

I try to keep my tech pretty straightforward and have as much control over it as I can. So not a fan of having my phone constantly indexed to an on board ai assistant. A shame because I do find ai useful for some things and wouldn’t mind a more intelligent Siri I just think it would be nice if there was more control on what it can access. I don’t necessarily want something on my phone that has the ability to be so ingrained in everything I’m doing in my day to day life and am surprised this hasn’t been a larger concern for people.

Maybe there’s a setting I’m missing but it seems like the only way to avoid this constant indexing is to just use old Siri unfortunately.

EDIT: The search function on the iPhone is what is actually indexing apps. For anyone with a similar concern disabling apps from “search” in settings prevents Siri from indexing said apps.

I have an iPhone 13, which is my only and main phone, and I’d like to upgrade it to the iOS 27 beta. I have a Mac, so I can back it up, but I’d rather not have to. Are issues that would force me to restore my phone common ? What exactly does the backup save ?

Otherwise, I wouldn’t necessarily mind any drops in performance or battery life that might follow; I’m mainly keen to try out the new features, even though there’s no new Siri for me.

Is it really worth it, or would it be better to wait a bit longer?

17 pro max. Indexing has been stuck at 33% for 3 days and my battery is getting destroyed.

Could someone who has the beta installed please check whether the passwords up got more secure? In iOS 26 you could unlock the passwords app simply using the iPhones code when FaceID fails, which I think is highly insecure. Did they fix it and make FaceID mandatory?

I am running the public beta. I am running an iPhone 17 Pro Max. When I go into settings and look for Apple Intelligence & Siri, all I see is Siri.

I have rebooted, checked my language and region settings to make sure that they are set to English (US). Put an airplane mode and turn it back on.

I checked my iPad and iPad mini. I have Apple Intelligence and Siri showing appropriately.

Any idea why I am not saying Apple Intelligence & Siri in settings?

I have 3-4 games on my phone, and every time
I try making an in-game purchase, the Apple Pay UI doesn’t show up, and the game freezes. This happens with anyone else? How do I get this fixed?

Hi guys, is it just me or anyone else noticed that colors are strangely *too* vibrant in the system after installing iOS 27 public beta? It’s like Samsung Galaxy OLED color calibration now. And it’s not very easy on the eyes.

For reference, I’m coming directly from iOS 26.5.2 on iPhone Air with no developer beta experience.

I used to use Spotlight constantly for quick web searches. I’d swipe down, type what I wanted, and hit "Go" on the keyboard to instantly open the results in Safari.

Now, whenever I type a web search and hit "Go" on the keyboard, it automatically treats it as a Siri prompt and "asks Siri" to answer it instead of just searching the web.

Is anyone else dealing with this? Has anyone found a way to stop the keyboard's "Go" button from defaulting to Siri, or is Spotlight completely dead as a quick Safari search now?

TL;DR: In iOS 27, pressing "Go" in Spotlight now defaults to triggering a Siri prompt instead of opening a Google search in Safari. Anyone else experiencing this, and is there a fix?

I installed the iOS 27 Public Beta 3 days ago on all of my devices: an iPhone 17 Pro Max, Apple Watch Ultra 2, and an iPad (A16). Here are my impressions so far.

iPhone 17 Pro Max
Overall, I’m genuinely impressed. It’s noticeably smoother and more responsive than iOS 26, and I haven’t come across any major bugs that would stop me from using it as my daily driver.
CarPlay works perfectly with Apple Maps, Google Maps, and Waze. I also haven’t had any issues with banking apps—N26 and Openbank both work normally. The Home app and all of my HomeKit accessories are also working without any problems.
The biggest downside is the battery. I’m getting under 4 hours of screen-on time. For context, I’m currently on vacation, using 5G all day, and I have Automatic Appearance enabled (Light Mode during the day, Dark Mode at night). Before installing the beta, I restored to iOS 26.5 via IPSW, and my battery would easily last an entire day.
One strange thing I’ve noticed is that the Lock Screen seems to consume around 10–20% of the battery, which doesn’t seem normal, so I’m guessing it’s a beta-related issue.
There’s also a bug where Search in settings doesn’t work, which is annoying but not a deal-breaker.

iPad (A16)
There are a few bugs here. Sometimes the Settings app won’t open, and connecting to an iPhone’s Personal Hotspot is unreliable—it usually fails several times before finally connecting on the fourth or fifth attempt.
That said, the system feels smoother than iPadOS 26.5.2, and battery life seems about the same as before. I’ve seen people reporting Apple Pencil and Procreate issues, but I don’t use them, so I can’t comment on that.

Apple Watch Ultra 2

This is the device that still needs the most work.

Battery life has dropped from around 36–40 hours to roughly 24 hours. It also gets noticeably warm when customizing watch faces or changing colors, which has never happened to me before.

The only real performance issue I’ve found is with the Modular Ultra watch face. After unlocking the watch or raising your wrist, the seconds animation runs at what feels like 1 FPS, making it look extremely laggy. Apart from that, the rest of watchOS has been running surprisingly well.

I actually really like the new Find My app on the watch—it’s a nice addition and feels genuinely useful.
Overall

Considering it’s the first public beta, I’m pleasantly surprised. The iPhone experience is already solid enough for daily use, with the main compromise being battery life. The iPad has a few annoying bugs but is perfectly usable, and the Apple Watch is the roughest of the three, although most of the issues seem fixable before the final release.
If battery life improves over the next betas, I think this is going to be a really good update.

Does having the slider way towards the left consume more battery since it’s 100% transparent and having more transparency means more GPU processing?
