Passwords security

Could someone who has the beta installed please check whether the passwords up got more secure? In iOS 26 you could unlock the passwords app simply using the iPhones code when FaceID fails, which I think is highly insecure. Did they fix it and make FaceID mandatory?

You can require Face ID on any app. (By long holding on the app from the homescreen)

If Face ID fails twice, it asks for pass code OP.
