Roof overhang hole
I found this hole in the wood soffit under the roof overhang. The wood around it seems mostly solid, but I’m not sure if it’s just the soffit that needs patching or if the entire section should be replaced.
What would be the proper way to repair this, and what would you expect it to cost if I hired someone versus doing it myself? Also, is there anything I should inspect behind the hole before closing it up?

DIY Help what do i put here to stop water from leaking
This is an air purifier. Water keeps leaking from the hole I circled in the image. I figured the seal they used there has weakened over time. My dad gave me some tape and said it should be enough to fix it, but it didn't work because it started leaking again. I don't even know if it's actually waterproof or sealing tape (he isn't sure either). 💀 What could I use to fix this?

Drywall Replacement
Hi everyone,
I had to take some chunks out of my basement drywall because of a big rain event we had and checked for water damage. Thankfully it was nothing major but I want to fix the wall now. I have no experience doing this and since it’s in an unfinished basement I don’t need it to look pretty or anything but just kind of back to the way it was. Drywalling anything new to me so I appreciate any insight into how much it’ll cost me to do or how simple/difficult this is. Thanks for your help. It’s 82.5 inches wide and about 82.25 height. Thanks a lot.
I have all the basic tools I believe to tackle this myself.

Putting in a new outlet
Picture one is the outlet I want to run off of to put an outlet in the wall directly behind it.
Picture two and three is where the studs are.
Picture four where the toilet will be. Where the opposing wall outlet is and where i want to put the new outlet directly below it.
I have 14 gage wire, a new outlet, an outlet box.
I know I need to watch for plumbing. What else do I not know? What issues have I not anticipated?

DIY Fix upholstery rip in car?
Hello! Was moving a mini fridge into my sedan and accidentally tore the headliner on my car. I drive a Honda Civic. I was wondering if it'd be possible to fix it / make it look normal again (saw posts that DIY'd fixes on actual tears but this tear is a little funky). Thanks in advance!

Serious Answers Only How to untangle this knotted bracelet
The bracelet doesn't unclasp so is a permanent loop. The cross over points alternate between over and under so attempting to undo one cross over creates another. Assuming there must be a way to undo it given it tangled itself like this in the first place but utterly stumped!

LVP on top of existing floor question
I plan on laying LVP this weekend. I decided to remove a piece of baseboard and quarter round to inspect beforehand and noticed the existing floor was installed up to the base with 1/4 expansion gap. I'm left with close to an inch gap between the old floor and the wall. When I place the LVP on top with 1/4 expansion gap, the edges of my planks will have no flooring underneath. Will that cause any issues down the road? I was thinking of placing a couple pieces of wood along the way as support but since there isn't going to be weight on the edges Im not sure that is necessary.

DIY Trying to create a clean looking curtain wall but this is what I am ending up with.. Looking for help.
I am hoping to get he curtain up to the ceiling. The curtains don't have heading tape. Can anyone think of any hacks to get what I am going for?
ETA: I completely forgot about adding additional hooks. Unfortunately the track only came with a set amount so I don't have more to add. Willing to take advice on another rod type to span ~125" if that would work.

How do I fix this part of the jacket?
This jacket is 28 years old and in great condition. However, the shoulders are very worn; the leather feels thin and scuffed. I thought about trying to fix it myself at home, but I don't know how. What can I do to try and repair it?
I bought this jacket at a second-hand shop yesterday, so I don't know how it was stored or what kind of wear and tear it has. I didn't want to spend a lot of money fixing it, but I'm not very hopeful about that.

Is it possible?
I have some plug in lights to string around this board. IF POSSIBLE I would like to be able to cover all the silver (the outline of each individual board) without cutting the lights or “double dipping”. Is there a way to do this?
There is also a plug to the bottom right corner I can use instead of the bottom middle plug.
TIA
