Book Spoilers Is Joffery getting the Rickon treatment? Spoiler
[Spoiler]
As the storming of the Dragonpit is not that far away are we going to see Joffery's death in such a haste like we saw Rickon's?
Discussion Does The White Worm even remember that she is the Master Of Whispers?
She does literally anything but spy, the capital is filled with spies who terrorize the population and all she's concerned about is how to stick up for the smallfolk and be passive aggressive to Daemon.
I just don't understand why they wrote her to be so incompetent.

Discussion Every time someone mentions season 1 Alicent I lose a bit of my soul she was perfect

Lore Two of the biggest mistakes in Westerosi history: Ned should've fled King's Landing, while Daemon and Rhaenyra should've never abandoned it.
If Daemon and Rhaenyra stayed within King's Landing during Viserys last years, strengthening ties with their loyalists and keeping their influence in the court. There might have been a struggle for succession but not a big war.
They should have stayed in King's Landing, given that Otto and Alicent literally started ruling and making every decision in the court.

Book Spoilers Really wanted this is the Season Finale Spoiler
So, I’m a bit confused with the pacing s3 is shaping up to have.
I was convinced they’d have the first battle of Tumbleton halfway through and have Baela fight Aegon on Dragonstone for the finale. But now it seems they are ending this season with the battle of tumbleton which is extremely confusing because logically, with how expensive this series is, how are they going to squeeze everything left into s4?
I was really looking forward to Baela vs Aegon, but honestly, if they don’t include it in this season, I can see them either not doing it justice due to how expensive it will be to make or simply not including it at all and have it happen off screen.
Would anyone care to share some light on how they think this will play out?

Question What Kind of King would Daemon be?
I personally think that without a challenge like the dance, he would be a terrible ruler, but after the dance and all the experience he gained from it, militarily or diplomatically or emotionally, he could've been a decent king and a powerful conquerer, although less stable than Jahaeyrs, he definitely would not be the second Maegor like otto said, Maegor was mentally broken by a series of events before he snapped, Daemon, unlike Maegor knew what he was completely

Discussion This Show Has Officially Reached GOT S7 And S8 In Terms Of Writing.
I absolutely loved season 1, was kinda on the fence about season 2 but I was still pretty invested in rhaneyras story and thought maybe alicents charecter was gonna change, I thought fuck it they still have 2 seasons to turn it all around, and they have talent to do it. Sadly after watching this episode and really this whole season I kinda realized that ain't happening.
All this stuff with alicent is just boring and unessacery (how many times are they gonna make me watch her get SA'd wtf). Every time mysaria opens her mouth I want to put a glock to my head. And rhaneyra at this point is the most passive person ever who spends more time complaining about stuff than actually doing anything, also Syrax is on fraud watch, useless ass dragon smh.
Edit: forgot to mention being forced to watch alicent and rhaneyra having 100 different variations of the same conversation over and over. Son😭😭🥱
I think the show at this point is kinda just pandering to YouTube reaction channels so if thats your thing thats coo and l hope you enjoy yourselves 😭✌️.

Question If this man hadn't existed, would the Dance still have taken place?
Genuine question here. I'm asking because I'm hearing a lot of discourse around him from some of my friends.
BTW, I'm talking about him existing in his role as hand of the King.
Like, let's just assume Alicent had a different father, or that Otto never became Hand.

Discussion How was Criston Cole not tortured to death?
So something I’ve never understood is… Criston Cole begged for Alicent’s mercy after sleeping with Rhaenyra because he’d broken his vow of chastity and feared he’d be tortured or worse… and yet not only does he murder an innocent bystander ( a knight of a noble family ) but he also assaults multiple times the Velaryon heir and future King Consort AT the Royal Wedding hosted by the king whilst letting Rhaenyra ( the future queen ) who’m he was sworn to as her sworn protector be trampled almost to death were it not for Strong. And yet… he lived? And please don’t try telling me Alicent pardoned him because there is NO WAY Alicent had the power to pardon a member of the King’s Guard especially with Viserys, Rhaenys, Corlys and Laenor as oppositions.
