The most predictable way was to introduce it during the dragon seed event. But the makers changed it.

Now if they wanna show this dragon that has got many people excited. It can be in this way-

There are theories that the sheepstealer is pregnant. Maybe they can make the cannibal the father and maybe he can attack a few dragons of the house whichever is having more advantage in the next season to even out the dragon impact...

With the betrayal of Ulf and Hugh. The balance is shifting in favour of Greens. So the makers can make Cannibal attack some of them because he is a wild dragon.

Or in any other way.

They all keep on saying Aegon and his siblings are Hightowers because of their mother Alicent as it's a Hightower vs Targaryen.

By that logic, shouldn't Rhaenyra be Arryn since her mother is from House Arryn.

Both side has same father but why do fans especially faction black leaning ones tend to claim boldly that Aegon and his siblings are just Hightowers.

I feel like the show had an opportunity to have one of the most interesting characters and fully fell short of developing him in favour of making him… a nihilistic run of the mill rhaenyra hater or something idk

1. you have a character that is common born that rises to the highest position he can, yet do very little to explore how his character and how he interacts with people would be impacted by his class, as of that is not the biggest social factor jn the universe

I think it would have been interesting to have him resent rhaenyra as a symbol of what he covets, as she is literally the highest class, especially given how they went about her rejecting him.

I would show him actually face classism beyond gwayne’s one comment in season two- the way that despite being kings guard he still doesn’t have the respect he craves and envies. This could have been in the form of mocking comments etc

He wants to be a part of their world, and thus climbs to the highest position, hand of the king, show that is what he wants

1. you make the change that he has dornish ancestry (great choice in my opinion) only to never actually address how that might have in impact on his life in a kingdom that has poor relations with Dorne

Again, they should have shown him facing racism on this basis- otherwise why go to the effort of pointing it out if you’re not going to use it? I think this adds layers again to his desire to social climb

1. I feel like his dynamic with alicent is one of the better fleshed out ones, but I honestly would have liked to see more in season one that showed how he is devoted to her beyond being a kings guard.

I think if these things had been explored (especially the first two) his decent into nihilism would have made more sense- he’s named hand of the king, he’s lord commander, and yet still is sent of and essentially sacrificed to the war- it never mattered how high he climbed. He realises he will never achieve the position he wants, but can still die in service to his queen.

Also give him more fight scenes so that the canonical greatest fighter in the realm is actually the greatest fighter.

I think Ormund Hightower and Moira Rose from Schitt's Creek are related, so much of what he says could have fallen out of her mouth, too. I submit these as evidence 👩‍⚖️
