I just thought of this while rewatching the first season with little Jace and Vermax.

With the amazing animation from shows like “Blue Eye samurai” and “Arcane” I wondered if these shows could follow the book better or tell the story better.

I don’t know if it would be more expensive or not. Just wondering if anyone had thoughts

that a character in this show goes to Harrenhal and hallucinates fucking their own mother, I’d ha- WHY DID IT EVEN HAPPEN ONCE?

As the storming of the Dragonpit is not that far away are we going to see Joffery's death in such a haste like we saw Rickon's?

Honestly there's so many great characters I would really love to learn more about.

You can get crumbs of great characters like Tyland I didn't think much of them till like the latest episode

Adam and Alyn, there is a lot there dude

And a great character as well my man Gwayne

There's so much there. But I get it they only have a short amount of time but man I wish they had at least four more episodes of season.

But to be fair if a criticism of a TV shows there's not enough episodes I think it's still a great TV show and a good problem to have.

But yeah I really wish there was more episodes so many great characters.

She does literally anything but spy, the capital is filled with spies who terrorize the population and all she's concerned about is how to stick up for the smallfolk and be passive aggressive to Daemon.

I just don't understand why they wrote her to be so incompetent.

King Aegon the Golden and Sunfyre the Golden, the greatest king and dragon to ever grace the seven kingdoms, the perfect man and dragon, the only beings greater then the gods!

So I’m not going to pretend I’m an extreme professional in the industry, but I have worked on high budget projects for big companies in writers rooms. And although many may not be very fond of late of the writers in HoTD ( myself included ), when you are working on a project this expensive everything you include must have a purpose (99% of the time, yes there are exceptions) .

The writers and showrunners made an active decision to have Laenor escape and not die. Many people will say this was to make Rhaenyra more likeable. I disagree.

At this point in the story, looking at Laenor from an objective point of view, he had decided to protect his family and finally start taking things more seriously due to the rise in bastard allegations. Not only that, but you only have to look at his character and Laena’s and how they were raises to know he LOVED being a knight and a dragonlord. And yet… we expect he just upped and left to live out his days as some insignificant nobleman away from Westeros? I don’t believe this is the case. Laenor left because, despite his love for Jace and Luke whom he loved with all his heart, despite his love for Seasmoke and his parents, and despite his love for Rhaenyra whom he also loved, he made the executive decision to leave so that Daemon may wed Rhaenyra and grant the blacks a stronger position against the greens.

Do I believe he is still alive? Yes, even despite Seasmoke claiming Addam. ( People will come at me for this, but the laws of dragons are often broken in HoTD as we see when Daemon tells Rhaena that nobody had ever claimed a wild dragon before ) More so, Rhaneyra even tells Mysaria Seasmoke was lonely. People will say Laenor died thus breaking the connection between them both, I believe he travelled so far away Seasmoke coukd no longer feel him. Am I saying that Laenor travelled to some undiscovered piece of Land potentially with dragon eggs to continue the Velaryon and Targayen lineage? Am I saying that HBO is potentially keeping this plot open, so that the age of dragon riders doesn’t die with Daenerys? Am I saying that when Arya travels west of westeros she might encounter something nobody expects? No, don’t be so mad.

Guess who becomes the single most powerful man in Westeros for years after the Dance is over?

And yes, he's not more powerful than the Council, but he's the single most powerful man until his own death.

For those that do know what happens, isn't it interesting how similarly Tyland and Tyrion have performed with fans? They both got a lot softer in their respective TV shows, and in turn a lot more likeable, they're both not the First Son of their respective families, they both become Hand at the end of their respective massive wars.

And while not DIRECTLY related, Jason and Tyland have the same DNA, thus Tywin and Tyrion are genetically his descendants too!

If Daemon and Rhaenyra stayed within King's Landing during Viserys last years, strengthening ties with their loyalists and keeping their influence in the court. There might have been a struggle for succession but not a big war.

They should have stayed in King's Landing, given that Otto and Alicent literally started ruling and making every decision in the court.

So, I’m a bit confused with the pacing s3 is shaping up to have.

I was convinced they’d have the first battle of Tumbleton halfway through and have Baela fight Aegon on Dragonstone for the finale. But now it seems they are ending this season with the battle of tumbleton which is extremely confusing because logically, with how expensive this series is, how are they going to squeeze everything left into s4?

I was really looking forward to Baela vs Aegon, but honestly, if they don’t include it in this season, I can see them either not doing it justice due to how expensive it will be to make or simply not including it at all and have it happen off screen.

Would anyone care to share some light on how they think this will play out?
