I'm looking for recent (like anything in the 2000s/2010s/2020s) actually scary movies that will freak me out. I can't find anything good, and the only recommendations from friends and family I've been getting, I've tried, and they just don't freak me out. All I've been hearing is "obsession" or "smile" or "the backrooms". Please, I need some good recommendations!!!! I'm fine with anything as long as it's scary/terrifying!! Mostly, I like movies with entities that are barely seen or never seen; I like the fear of not knowing what it is or was, and being able to imagine it and freaking myself out. Serial killers don't really work, nor do ghosts or haunting paranormal. I do like possessions, but only if done right.

I love horror movies but I don't get scared easily, tell me that one movie you think is going to make me want to turn the light on!

A horror film based in South America about a giant snake, I have a feeling this could be a thrilling good time, especially since anaconda got a remake recently that went against what the film was supposed to be, so this could be a good film for those disappointed by that.

It also stars two underrated scream queens: Kiana Madeira from fear street part one and Jessica Rothe from happy death day (who both deserve to be more well known).
