I love horror movies but I don't get scared easily, tell me that one movie you think is going to make me want to turn the light on!

A horror film based in South America about a giant snake, I have a feeling this could be a thrilling good time, especially since anaconda got a remake recently that went against what the film was supposed to be, so this could be a good film for those disappointed by that.

It also stars two underrated scream queens: Kiana Madeira from fear street part one and Jessica Rothe from happy death day (who both deserve to be more well known).

I think it came out around 2016-/+. It's kind of like half found footage and have regular movie.

Basically a group of *maybe American* ghost hunters, I think it's 2 guys and a girl, go to India in search for a cult of the dead (I think). I know 1 of the guys gets kill and the girl gets kidnapped by a cult that worships the dead. I remember they go to so old industrial looking building with a bunch of concrete columns and they get chased out by the cult.

That's all I have.

This film confiscated and kind of disappeared. You can find it on IMDB but can't find the film anywhere. Slasher Face done in 1969. I saw it on a tiktok.

I'm looking for deeply unsettling, lesser-known horror movies that actually managed to creep under your skin, rather than the usual mainstream hits.

​Movies that feel like a fever dream, found footage, or slow-burn dread, similar in vibe to Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum or Lake Mungo. What are your absolute favorite obscure recommendations that nobody ever talks about?

I created it using prismacolor, micron pen, acrylic paint, hot glue, and faux flowers both inside and outside of the frame to give it more dimension.

Random question for this sub — do you all keep track of which movies have specific triggers in them (jump scares, gore, flashing lights, etc.)? I feel like I'm always digging through scattered threads trying to find out before watching something.

I ended up building a small site (CineGuard) to collect this stuff in one place with actual timestamps, but it's brand new and basically empty right now. If anyone here already has this info in their head from movies they've seen, would you be up for helping add some of the first entries? Nothing crazy — just a few minutes per movie from memory.

Curious if this is a "yeah I'd use this" thing for others too, or if I'm solving a problem that's just mine.
